Alexithymiaa: -Steph sat on the edge of the pool with her legs dangling into the water trying to situate her arms comfortably in her lap that would also conveniently drape across her middle. She was failing. She was swinging her legs back and forth through the water, trying to kill two birds with one stone and do some physical therapy while enjoying the pool.-
Covet: Cadence was laying back on the patio with her legs in the water, having just struggled to get out of the pool without hurting herself or the Baby. She rubbed her hands over her stomach then shushed, "I know it smells good, he's cooking it." She told her then looked over at Felix, "Please for the love of god, do not burn my elote, or my steak. Both are criminal offenses to pregnant women." // Felix stopped what he was doing holding his tongs up in the air, "Excuse, you, Me man, Me cook on fire good!"
Alexithymiaa: -Steph slowly turned her head in Felix's direction when he spoke like a caveman, just blankly staring at him before calling out. "We're going to pretend you didn't just say that."-
Covet: "You man, which means you think with dick, not brain." Cadence said mumbling, then looked down at her stomach to see it move, "Oh my god, that's so weird to watch, I can feel it, and see it, and I can't help but feel clausterphobic for poor Baby B." She frowned poking at one of the lumps poking through her stomach, watching it move. // Felix snickered amused with himself then looked over at Steph, "Hey Red, a few shrimp and some grilled zuchini slices going to be enough for you?"
Alexithymiaa: -She looked down at Cadence's moving stomach, reaching her hand out to lay it on the moving lumps because no personal space amongst friends like this. "Awww, Baby B.... does it hurt?" She asked Cadence before turning to look over at Felix again, wincing at the mention of shrimp. "Shrimp? Um... I'm okay with just the zuchini. You don't even have to worry about the shrimp."-
Covet: "No, well sometimes, when they find a rib or are sitting farther back, or on my hips, but most of the time no." She said "I just kind of feel like a blimp, about to explode most days." Cadence laughed. // Felix turned around and gave Steph a look, "At least one, protien helps build strong muscles, to walk with." He said throwing three shrimp on all the same, he'd eat the others at the very least.
Alexithymiaa: -She lowered her head a little bit when she caught his look, not wanting to explain herself in front of Cadence. At least not right at the moment. If she happened to puke, she'd explain herself then. "Okay...." She pursed her lips and turned back to look at Cadence, keeping an eye on her stomach as she felt the baby move. She's into this. "You look amazing. I feel like the whole parent thing is perfect for you and Remy. Right Arizona?"-
Covet: "Thanks, I'm still scared shitless and praying for a boy. Because knowing my luck a daughter would turn out like me, and I'm too much for myself to handle, how can I possibly handle a mini me." She said with a laugh. "Especially if she has aunts like you and Hayley helping her get into trouble." // Felix gave Steph a soft smile as he went about turning the foods and all that. "You think you're going to be any better off with a boy, given that it's me and Remy for role models? You've got some seriously high hopes."
Alexithymiaa: "Yeah, really. Besides, I'm not going to help her get into trouble. I'd probably just end up putting her in situations that make it easy for her to get herself into trouble. Big difference. Besides, I'd probably do that regardless of the gender soo...." She trailed off with a laugh, glancing at Felix again. "Exactly. Remember how Remy used to be? And how Felix currently is? You'll have three children running around getting into trouble."-
Covet: "Neither of you are helping with this whole not feeling scared shitless thing here." She said leaning up on her arms, kicking the water a bit. "Remy should be here soon, He was working tonight at the pot shop." // Felix snickered, "See Steph knows, if you have a boy, you're double fucked."
Alexithymiaa: "Were we supposed to be helping?" She asked with a laugh, moving her hand over Cadence's stomach to feel more kicking. "That was huge. Babe leave the grill for like two minutes and come here. I can literally feel Baby B moving around in there." She said excitedly before looking into Cadence's face. "Do you still get amped when Baby B kicks?"-
Covet: Cadence glared at Steph for a second then shook her head with a laugh, "Sometimes, if Baby B has been quiet for a while, then they all of a sudden start moving, it startles me, and sometimes I'll wake up to kicks, usually on my bladder too. But it's kind of common place now." She told Steph then looked over her shoulder to nod at Felix. // Felix grumbled and finished what he was doing, then closed the grill, "I've only got a few moments otherwise your zuchini is going to wind up burnt." He walked over then looked at his hands, wiping them on his shorts before he knelt down, looking at Cadence before he put his hand out to touch her stomach, watching it move and roll he scrunched up his face, "I'm pretty sure I saw this scene in Aliens, and I don't really want something poping out of there to attach to my face."
Alexithymiaa: -She dropped her hands down into her lap dramatically, shooting daggers at Felix and his fucking Alien comment even though I completely appreciated the reference. "Really?" She asked in monotone. He was ruining the baby moment.-
Covet: Cadence laughed as she watched Felix's epression. "No I'm right there with you, I've had bad preggo nightmares about it." She said. // Felix looked at Steph, "What? It's true!" He said, "It's still cool, but c'mon at the back of your mind.. you can't help but wonder if today is going to be the day it hatches and attacks."
Alexithymiaa: "I would kick you right now if I could." She said with a roll of her eyes before glaring at Cadence. "Don't encourage him. He's bad enough without you egging him on. Baby B is supposed to be a special thing, not a horror movie nightmare. We should go shopping for more baby stuff soon. Actually..." She trailed off, trying to figure out her timeline. "I sold a song to Liz last week, so I should be getting paid for it soon. I'm putting most of the money away, but I want to buy you some baby things you guys need."-
Covet: "You realize you're talking about me and Remy here. We'd be ecstatic if whe had a horror movie nightmare. I literally have a shirt that says, we hope it's a werewolf." She laughed even harder, "Aww, You don't have to do that, just get stuff to spoil Baby B. And maybe some diapers. Because diapers are always necessary. However, something we do need, is getting stuff moved to the new place, and there's painting that still needs done there too." // Felix stood up, "I'd be happy to come help paint, provided you guys have all the stuff to make sure a mess won't be made"
Alexithymiaa: "I have all intentions of spoiling Baby B and you can't stop me." She said with a smile. "I don't know how much help I would be in moving, but anything I can do, I will offer you. But Felix will help you move. And apparently make a huge mess. At least he sticks to what he's good at." She smirked, blowing him a kiss after shitting on him.-
Covet: "You can help me supervise, because that's all I'm allowed to do." Cadence said with a smile, "I'll have all the drop plastic and tape and brushes, rollers. The works. So if you manage to make a mess on those gorgeous stained wood floors, They'll be stained with your blood." She told him with a smile. // "Got it, Painting should be a breeze so long as it's only single color stuff. I could get it done in a couple of days." Felix offered.
Alexithymiaa: "I can definitely supervise." She said with a nod. "Does supervising include deciding which jeans the guys have to wear while painting and then watching them paint?" She asked Cadence, intentionally loud enough for Felix to hear.-
Covet: "Hmmm, If I make it a demand, yes, because they can't tell me no." Cadence said with a smirk. // Felix had gotten back to the grill, taking things off that were done, then turned around, "Excuse you, I'll be wearing shorts, not jeans, but I'll go topless if that will make you feel better."
Alexithymiaa: "This is true. You can't deny a pregnant woman what she wants." She said with a nod, propping her hands behind her and leaning back so she could look at Felix. "It was a compliment, if anything! Do I get to pick the shorts?" She asked, starting to laugh. "When you're done with the food, can you help me up?"-
Covet: Cadence gave a bit of a yawn, then started to get up herself knowing it was going to take a bit. "I'd help her, but Remy would have a fit." // Felix got everythign off the grill, "Fine, you can pick the shorts, too, but not my good ones, because I don't want paint on my good ones." He said then turned the grill off, and then went over to help Steph up.
Alexithymiaa: -Getting up to her feet with his help, she rolled her eyes. "Your idea of your good shorts are the ones that would look better with paint splattered on them." She leaned heavily on him as she made her way over to the table, limping hard, but still on her feet so that was improvement in itself. She slipped down into one of the patio chairs, exhaling deeply because pain. "Nothing looks burnt. Good job."-
Covet: "Right? and the steak better not be ovedone, or too rare. I'm not supposed to have rare meat." Cadence said also easing into a chair. // Felix scoffed and glared at both of them, "If you're both done, I'd like to present you with a well cooked and seasoned meal. Without anymore judgement or snarky comments, just eat and enjoy it." He said witha bit of a grumpy face as he loaded up his plate with veggies and all the shit he'd just grilled.
Alexithymiaa: "To be fair, I do nothing, but make snarky comments so that's not just going to stop because you want it to. You knew what you were getting yourself into. You both did. Live with your poor choices." She stared down at the shrimp and vegetables on her plate, pushing them around with her fork a little before taking a small bite of vegetables.-
Covet: Cadence went to town on the food things because bbq and food things because feeding baby. // Felix chuckled, " I always do. But I make some better choices than poor ones." He said reaching over to give Steph's thigh a gentle squeeze then went about eating.
