  3. -----Visage of Death (Su)
  4. At 1st level a pallid harbinger has an innate ability to sense sickness and weakness in others. This acts as a constantly-active Diagnose Disease effect, though unlike the spell this affects an area equal to the pallid harbinger's melee reach. As a move action he may cast diagnose disease at will. He also gains the antipaladin's plague bringer ability at level 1.

  8. -----Corrupted Blood (Su)
  9. When the pallid harbinger uses smite good, he may deal an amount of damage to himself equal to his levels in pallid harbinger, spreading the blood over his blade. Every attack he deals against the target inflicts one disease he is infected by on the target, chosen at random. The target of his smite takes a penalty on its saves against disease equal to 1/4 the damage he dealt to himself (minimum -1).

  13. -----Aura of Susceptibility (Su)
  14. At 3rd level a pallid harbinger's sickness can afflict those around him. Creatures within 10 feet take a penalty on saves to avoid and cure diseases equal to his Charisma modifier, and creatures normally immune to diseases lose that immunity while within 10 feet of the pallid harbinger. This penalty stacks with the one inflicted by Corrupted Blood. This ability functions only while the pallid harbinger remains conscious, not if he is unconscious or dead.

  18. -----Worming Disease (Ex)
  19. At 3rd level a pallid harbinger can allow one disease to gain dominance within his body by devouring the weaker diseases, growing stronger as a result. At the beginning of the day the pallid harbinger selects one disease he is currently afflicted by. The save DC of that disease increases by +1 for each other disease the pallid harbinger is afflicted by, and the save DCs for all the other diseases are reduce by half that amount (minimum -1).

  23. -----Infectious Cruelty (Su)
  24. At 3rd level, the pallid harbinger gains the Diseased cruelty with the following changes. The target is infected by one disease the pallid harbinger is afflicted by. This uses the pallid harbinger's normal DC for cruelties or the disease's save DC, whichever is higher.

  26. At 6th level, the pallid harbinger adds the following cruelty to his list of available choices. He cannot select the Disease cruelty at this or later levels.
  27. Afflicted: A disease the target is suffering from decreases its frequency to rounds. This change remains for a number of rounds equal to the pallid harbinger's charisma modifier.

  29. At 9th level, the pallid harbinger adds the following cruelty to his list of available choices
  30. Infectious: For a number of rounds equal to the pallid harbinger's charisma modifier, the target radiates an aura of disease. Any creature that ends its turn within 10 feet of the creature must save or be exposed to the same disease as the target, or one disease chosen at random if the target is suffering from multiple. Any effects that enhance or change the disease's properties apply to the disease that is being radiated.

  32. At 12th level, the pallid harbinger adds the following cruelty to his list of available choices
  33. Virulent: A disease the target is suffering from gains one of the disease templates from Horror Adventures.

  35. This ability modifies Cruelties and replaces the cruelty gained at 3rd level.
