  1. The Forging of a New Yokudan

  3. By Azed Meranda, School of the Bleeding Tongues

  6. Today, Redguards far and wide live in ignorance, languishing in mental prisons from which they are too ignorant to escape. Were they to break out of the chains cast upon them by their profligate overseers, Crown and Forebear alike, our people would greatness unmatched. A shadow looms over Tamriel, the shadow of Ra’Gada. Come, brothers and sister, and embrace the new Warrior Wave, both in spirit and body.
  7.
  8. Whether peasant or king, the blood of every Redguard is noble. When the ancestors of the Redguards departed Yokuda, only those worthy enough survived to tell the tale of their narrow escape. We must, however, not forget our kin who, by the Guardian’s Blood, left Yokuda only to return to it, both out of love for Her scorched sands and their undying devotion to the Idea. Hundreds of ships never left the ports but hundreds more sank long before the last peaks could disappear behind the horizon. It is said that when the ships carrying survivors left Yokuda on their long exodus, many among the survivors flew into an unstoppable rage, tearing and hacking at fellow passengers, the hulls of their vessels and even the sea itself. They were joined by others who decided on more personal voyages, hauling themselves overboard and embarking on a long plunge in search of Old Yokuda now lost.
  9. Among those that remained in Yokuda, only a scant few survived the great sinking. They are pitied to this day for their meekness in the face of cataclysm, but our forlorn kin shall nevertheless be welcomed with open arms when the next great Elden Yokeda arises. When the great people of Hammerfell cast off their chains and re-awaken the great warrior spirit within, many banners will become one, and all of Tamriel shall cover in fear. Let us await HoonDing with our blades protected tightly between our teeth lest they are not ready when the time comes to break open the dams of infidel blood!
