- Jack says, "Hah, y'know ain't quite the guy I was looking for but it'll do. "
- Zaruma glances back at Jack.
- (Zaruma)
- Zaruma asks, "...?"
- Jack says, "Yo Zaruma. We're gonna have to talk for a bit, bout one of yer mutts named,Katzan.."
- You have 1 hour, 33 minutes left until your next check. You currently do not qualify for an RPP reward in the upcoming check.
- There were many things wrong with Jack's approach to Zaruma.
- Slowly, the Archon's visage turned towards Jack. Unamused, the crimson languid gaze rested upon the youth- and before another word was spoken, the psychic projection overwhelmed his mind, intending to cause mental pain. It was much like a sting of a needle poking at his brain; if that wasn't enough, the sheer Arcane energies found their way to his mind, if only to empower the pressure.
- "Quiet." - a telepathic message was sent to Jack.
- The Tempest's presence compelled obedience, and one could figure out that acting otherwise could spell trouble. He decided to speak verbally, after all.
- "You will not address me as if I were one of your peers. You will address me as one of your superiors."
- "First of all, it's Lord Zaruma to you. Second, you are to request my time, not demand it."
- "And third, Katzan is not of my own."
- "Now speak, and mind your tongue. Or else you can lose it."
- (Zaruma)
- Jack rose a brow and then took a step forward. Facing the presence of the Archon was surely intimidating but at the same time. Jack sought to be above that, Beyond an archon. He would clear his throat, pulling out a cigarette and then nodding his head for a second.
- " Lookie here, Zaruma . " He states as he lets out a puff of smoke and then points the cigarette towards the Archon. " One, ye don't tell me what to do. Two, If I want t' talk to ye, we're gonna fucking talk. " As for the mention of Katzan being not one of his own. Jack would relax a bit, only slightly.
- " If Katzan ain't one of yer mutts, then even better fer me. Means I won't have t' ask ye to look the other way but....if ye trying to cause trouble right now mate. Don't think I'm afraid to tussle ya, right here right now. I don't care who or what ye are.
- I never back down from a fight. "
- (Jack)
- Luciana took a deep sigh and stepped beside Jack.
- "Please, control your temper. And you."
- Amber irises jump to Zaruma.
- "I believe you and Vaj'rin have already come to agreement. You may pick your fights, but you may not do it here. We do not need the ruckus near our community. I suggest you take your business elsewhere."
- She'd glare at the Archon fiercely, knowing he had his squabbles with Vaj'rin in the past. Being in Leviathan territory causing a scene would only ruin relations between Luciana's people and the Archon.
- (Luciana Toryia)
- The reality around Archon was shifting, distorting- protesting against Jack's disrespect.
- Luciana's warning was disregarded, and only few words were thrown as response.
- "Your people have nothing to do with this- do not get yourself involved, if you're concerned for community relations."
- "This imbecile decides to disrespect me. He brought this on himself."
- The Fell Wind began gathering around the Archon; it was a gathering gale, an approaching hurricane that was directed upon Jack only, nobody else- least they'd attempt to intercept. In that case, alas, they may get themselves wounded for Jack's sake.
- "Prepare yourself."
- (Zaruma)
- Luciana steps in front of Jack throwing an arm out to the side in protest. "You will NOT harm anyone here. This is my last warning."
- (Luciana Toryia)
- Jack looks over to Luciana and merely places a hand on Luciana's shoulder-- or well was about to until he saw the girl step before him. He rose a brow for a moment and then crossed his arms.
- " Lookie here, Heiress, I get what yer saying but y'see. If there's anything in this world I can't allow, it'd be making people think they can chat to me however they please. " Earth began to lay itself over his skin, his body glowing faintly. He took a step from behind her and then placing a hand on her arm, gently lowering it.
- " Don't ye interrupt this own for me heiress. Even if the eyes of yere people are on me. I've gotta fight--hell all the more reason to fight. Show 'em that, I, Jack ain't gone take bullshit from anyone. Show 'em the man I truly am.
- Ye ain't stopping this fight. "
- (Jack)
- The Sarradian tosses his dagger up into the air before catching its hilt. It was certain that he hadn't battle in a long while and decided on retiring but, but this situation was different..He felt as if this was a time to prove himself..A time to gain the honor he had once lossed a while back.
- "Instead of beatin' on this poor fella', How about me and ya' kick it once again like last time. Whatever ya' insisted on doin' to him, you can do to me, aye?"
- He cracked his neck a bit before walking in front of Luciana and Jack, giving the Tempest of an Archon a large smile.
- "It'll be like old times but this time..Eh, I'm somewhat limited but this..this is a rematch I have been waitin' for a long time."
- Quickly, he aimed his dagger towards Zaruma, keeping the same arrogant smile on his face.
- "Do accept or leave. I'm afraid if ya' lose against me, I would like to interrogate and make a couple of proposals with ya as well, so you will be coming back to Zao with me. Again. The choice is yours, Zaruma."
- (Vaj'rin Toryia)
- The Archon was losing his patience. Even despite Jack's acceptance to fight, after all, people all over were insisting that he does not fight; an oddity to Zaruma, if anything. Were people that afraid of violence in here, or were they that unrelenting on the pitiful philosophy of keeping to themselves and protecting their friends?
- The crimson in his eyes sparked. His voice laced with venom, with a clear hint of anger behind it, all because the likes of Luciana and Vaj'rin stalling their fight.
- "Get out of my sight, Vaj'rin Toriya."
- Much like a predator that attempts to pounce its victim, his gaze briefly shifted to Jack, if only to exclaim.
- "If you want beating, then so be it. Get in line and wait your turn, Sarradian."
- "But you will not dishonour my fight with him. You will not interfere. You will not interrupt me any longer."
- "If you value the lives of yourpeople and your peace."
- The gathering gale was howling, and the winds were getting faster. It was likely a very, very bad idea to keep Zaruma waiting like this, and try his patience any longer.
- "I'm saying this one last time."
- "Move, or there will be consequences, far worse than this man's life could ever benefit you."
- (Zaruma)
- Vaj'rin Toryia says, "I'm afraid not."
- Vaj'rin Toryia says, "Beat 'em after me, I'm a special guest."
- It appeared as the though the Archon was being stubborn. Luciana would shake her head as Zaruma refused Vaj'rin's proposal. She stepped forward.
- "Watch your tongue, fool. You speak to the King." she'd say with both fists clenched.
- Zaruma refused to take his fight elsewhere. As a result, Luciana would have to ensure that this villain would not leave untouched by the Leviathan.
- (Luciana Toryia)
- Revan Katar says, "<"Luciana wants to get us all killed, I swear to god.">"
- Revan Katar says, "I do not know her."
- A thought crossed his mind, once Luciana spoke her words.
- "--Very well."
- "You will be first, in that case. Get ready, Vaj'rin."
- (Zaruma)
- Jack simply crosses his arms once more and nodded a few times. " Hrm, that girl's fierce. Hmm, a good trait to have in women. " He would then look before the two and while Jack wished to engage in battle right now. In the same breath, he was eager to see the strength of the man who he desired to work with. This was a good chance.
- " Hmm, I'll allow it. " he'd then continue to smoke as he made his way over to the side. " Now let's see what ye can do for ye self, King . "
- (Jack)
- The continuous fighting between Sarradian whom mastered several elements and the Archon, quite frankly, led to nothing.
- With each blow exchanged, with each spell fired off, both of them were being worn out by the fighting, and as time passed, neither of them were able to keep this on- but neither of them went down too. Zaruma had his distance, cautious of Sarradian, if only to exclaim.
- "Had your fill yet, Vaj'rin?"
- "It is time for your man to defend himself. Or are you going to still deny his right to do so?"
- And while the fight with Sarradian was prompted useless, there were still matters to settle; doubtlessly, it may be a bad idea to begrudge the Archon.
- Yet, the decision rests on Vaj'rin's shoulders. It would decide the fate of Black Leviathan, too.
- (Zaruma)
- A bit of his blood fell from his face after receiving one of Zaruma's powerful slashes but strangely, a smile still remained on the Sarradian's face.
- "Heh. I can say I'm satisfied, yea."
- Vaj'rin quickly sheathed his dagger to his side before folding his arms, laying his gaze upon the Dark Tempest. The Sarradian simply walked over towards the others before asking them, specifically towards Jack.
- "Oi, if you truly want to get a battle in, go ahead. But if you do not.."
- His gaze turned back towards the Flying Archon.
- "Then there will be a bit o' problems, Zaruma."
- Returning his sight back to the Jack.
- "Your call, Bud."
- (Vaj'rin Toryia)
- Jack cracked his knuckles before taking a step forward. " Like I'm gonna waste a chance to knock some teeth out an Archon's mouth. I've said it once and I'll say it again Vaj'rin. " He stretches his neck a bit.
- " I never back down from a fight. "
- (Jack)
- The Archon was unamused, but nonetheless, there was a hint of satisfaction to his expression, a grin that rested upon his face at the concept of battling Jack.
- Why? At last, he could be taught a lesson, if anything.
- "We will see just how many you're going to knock out, then."
- The Fell Wind began to gather around him, this time intending to be directed against Jack. The crimson hues were sparked up, much like the hunter that would gaze down upon its prey.
- "You're on."
- (Zaruma)
- A faint glow would be seen around his frame once more as Jack stood before the Archon. He went to pull for his rifle but instead in his hands was none other than a staff. A frown on his face briefly until he pointed the weapon forward. It mattered not what he had to use. He was going to enjoy this fight.
- A wide grin could be seen on his face as he took his stance. " Bring it. "
- (Jack)
- The fight was clearly not matched properly, and the young one was overwhelmed by Archon's strength and speed alike; no matter where he ran, where he attempted to escape, Zaruma was always there, aiming to deliver yet another blow.
- And despite his defences, despite Jack's efforts to stave off the final blow, it could only last for so long. There was a crippling hit that was dealt to his legs, one that laid him to a single spot, before the Archon lowered himself to Jack.
- "We'll see how much you can endure."
- There was a hit with Archon's fist- and another- and another- repeteadly beating down on the downed opponent. Why? To teach a lesson, of course.
- Jack's bones were cracked within, his face swollen and bruised heavily, and his torso under the pressure of internal haemorrhage; he was bleeding bad. One could already assume that it's a brutal punishment for disrespect-
- But Zaruma didn't stop. Balling up the energy of Fell Wind and Arcane in one go, he sent it down to strike Jack on the ground, shellshocking his entire body, so much that he would gasp and struggle to even breathe- save alone even say anything. Effectively, he was silenced, leaving him naught but a heap of suffering poor soul.
- "--Doesn't seem like you could endure much, after all."
- Unamused, the crimson gaze grasped him by the collar, sending out another shockwave of Arcane to send him flying off, rolling and tumbling on the grass of prairies.
- Jack needed help, certainly. He was severely injured, and quite badly too.
- "All bark, no bite, I suppose..."
- (Zaruma)
- As Jack fell to the floor, his body suffering from the effects of the Archon's winds. He laid on the ground for a moment, gripping unto his legs in pain. He gasped as he struggled to breathe, memories of the giants flashing before his very eyes. Each breath a fight in itself. Each moment, life or death.
- The moment he snapped back, he was on the ground, clutching at his chest. His breathing heavy as pain filled his entire body. Not even a word could leave his mouth, he was just merely forced to lay there and struggle for a moment. He arched his back forward as he tried to push himself up, falling unto his face and began slamming his head into the ground.
- Jack kept pushing and fighting to get up, his eyes getting red and watery as he did. He'd fought many people before and received many injuries, ones even leaving him in a wheelchair for years. " Ye best, s-s-s-shut yer fucking yap, demon fer g-- " he falls on back unto the floor for a moment before struggling to push himself back up. " g-getting a few lucky hits in. Y-ye hear? "
- He manages to get up on his knees, clutching unto his staff and using it as a crutch as he began pulling himself up to stand on his feet. " I've shat out bigger shits that hurt more than this. "
- (Jack)
- The Archon's gaze remained upon the White Dragon that decided to challenge him. His arms crossed, his eyelids narrowed at the distaste of what he was witnessing before himself, if only to exclaim further.
- "Very well."
- Although, without turning his gaze to Jack, yet another wave of Arcane was released towards him; essentially, he was blown away by Archon's might, and no matter what he planned on saying, he was already out of the range to keep such discussions - essentially, Jack was banished from Zaruma's presence, deeming him unworthy.
- "Do you wish to battle here, then?"
- "Or do you wish to raise your stakes and face me alone?"
- (Zaruma)
- Vaj'rin places his hand on Hinoka's shoulder before shaking his head.
- (Vaj'rin Toryia)

- Tsuyo Hikari stepped forward. His entire life had been full of failures save a few victories, nothing recognizable however...it was time to start his legacy. He was no longer just Tsuyo, the main clad in white approached the Archon not as a mere Drakanite, but as The White Dragon of the Black Leviathan. A confident smile worn on his face to hide the insecurities he felt within his heart.
- This man, Zaruma. It was many years ago when Tsuyo experienced true terror by his hands albeit indirectly. When he watched his brother go down in combat, Vaj'rin the Devil...the immovable wall that Tsuyo always aimed to surpass, the invincible hero of the man's heart, it was as if the world around him began crumbling. Today he'd redeem the Toryia name, despite not being an official one himself, today was the day he'd take down Zaruma and become a legend.
- The shiny blade, Braveheart glimmered on the man's back. Inscribed on it were the words 'One willing to face death with a smile. So the family does not have too.' It was a blade passed down to him, created by Maki Hana, a woman who once saved Tsuyo's life in his youth, now this very same blade was to be stained with his enemy's blood.
- "I will face you here, alone." He said, finally grasping the sword from his back and pointing it forwards at the archon.

- Tsuyo Hikari has rolled 6 or under: they may be captured!
- The battle between the Archon and Tsuyo was rather shortlived. As much as White Dragon could prove to be a powerful foe, against the power of the Tempest he was nothing; as such, he adapted quickly to Tsuyo's fighting style, and managed to neglect it entirely.
- His advanced with shields and defences up were merely neglected through the power of Arcane. No matter how hard he could engage upon Zaruma, he'd end up being pushed away-
- And when it came to exchanging blows? The speed that Zaruma dealt those hits with was unmatched. Essentially, he was overwhelmed by Archon's strength and speed.
- Despite all of his efforts, the White Dragon was defeated.
- "Useless."
- There was a spark of rage swelling within, one that threatened to end Tsuyo any moment as he was beaten down into the ground; Zaruma's eyes were bright crimson, threatening to end the man's life here and now.
- After all, Tsuyo issued the challenge to the Archon, and claimed that Zaruma would die.
- Unfortunately for the White Dragon, that wasn't mean to be.
- "Your last words?"
- The scythe was shifted to the man's neck. He was facing the death itself, and the looming threat of Arcane was seeping upon the land restlessly.
- Perhaps, it may be his last journey.
- (Zaruma)
- Useless.
- Well, that was one way to describe his efforts. It was true, Tsuyo had been quite useless. He laid there filled with shame and dishonor. Here he was trying to look cool by beating the bad guy all by himself only to fall flat and fail. The White Dragon managed to finish the battle without any serious injuries, likely due to how tough his body became through training...oh and also maybe due to his Earthen Shell. His stamina was completely dwindled however, there was no way he could move even if he wanted to, not move enough to escape at least.
- Last words...? Well there was only one word he could offer at a moment like this as he laid there on the ground faced with certain doom.
- "Brave...heart."
- (Tsuyo Hikari)
- No. No, no no. The Sarradian was not going to allow this to happen..To have his brother, The White Dragon executed in his sight. Hell no, not in a million years. Unlike the happy-go-lucky attitude he took on from last time, his expression this time was filled with anger..Anger caused by the thought of Zaruma placing his scythe so close to his brother's neck. Vaj'rin was not going to let this happen.
- A loud, roaring yell was released by Vaj'rin, quickly calling the power of the Desert to his side. At the extent of a hand, the Sand that loyally glided around the Sarradian rushed directly towards Zaruma in amounts large enough to represent his current feeling of anger. If it wasn't enough to intervene and prevent Tsuyo's potential death, he made sure by rushing directly behind the sand with thoughts of clashing with the Archon.
- "Zaruma...Don't you dare slay my brother."
- His mixtureof orange-colored eye along with the artificial, mythril eye glared down the Tempest of an Archon with a tint of hatred obviously being shown.
- "Don't you dare.."
- (Vaj'rin Toryia)
- In contrast to Vaj'rin, Hinoka was calm. She'd been looking for a chance to see Zaruma in action personally. The only that had held her back from it was everyone else's insistence that they could do it alone. But clearly, that was not the case.
- She made her way over slowly, a slight smile about her. Holy lightning covering her form as she stood beside Vaj'rin in front of Tsuyo. It certainly had been a while...
- "It's been far too long Zaruma. Far too long indeed... In fact, it's been since Jianghu had that tower, hasn't it? Not for lack of trying, of course. On both ends of the spectrum."
- She'd look him over. No doubt, he'd gotten more powerful. Still as pompous as ever. The fact that people kept throwing themselves head long into him on their own certainly didn't help with that.
- (Hinoka)
- That was expected.
- The scythe was retracted, if only to gaze upon Vaj'rin; the glaring of the crimson in his optics never ceased, and he exclaimed soon enough.
- "Your brother wishes to kill me, but when he gets dealt the same hand that he wished for, you defend him?"
- "I now see that you're a man of no fairness, but a hypocrite that is out for his own friends only. Your mask has fallen, Vaj'rin - do not dare show up in Crafthold or Aetherius, ever."
- His hues shifted towards Hinoka. No doubt, the Archon knew it all along, choosing to answer her.
- "As always, hiding behind someone, Rilla."
- "I'm wondering how come Jianghu defend necromancers these days. Do they think you're innocent? Do they think that you're their friend?"
- "Do they truly think you do not intend to use them, Rilla?"
- His gaze shifted towards Vaj'rin. He decided to speak up- while he'd have no time to slay Tsuyo right here and right now, he could likely still maim the Drakanite... and maim him quite good.
- "Is this who you defend nowadays, Sarradian?"
- "But I will humour your rage. Let me have my personal time with the necromancer, and your brother will remain unharmed."
- "--Despite the stupidity he's committed. What do you say?"
- (Zaruma)
- Caecilla Moi says, "<So.. That's Rilla?..>"
- Zaruma says, "Answer me, Sarradian, and consider your words carefully."
- Zaruma says, "It is not the fate of your brother, but fate of your people as a whole too."
- Vaj'rin Toryia says, "Zaruma, you will leave or battle."
- Unamused, the Archon floated up.
- "I had my answer. You will regret this, Vaj'rin."
- "You will regret this dearly."
- On that note, the Tempest simply aimed to float away, somewhere to the east; he knew that he'd stand no chance against several magi against him at once, and the Archon took no chances fighting such battle.
- But would any pursue him? Maybe that's another question left. He wasn't worried about it, however- knowing his own speed, he can certainly outmatch anyone.
