  1. Amazon: What was once the Amazon is now more or less just a sunken forest. After the Awakening, the term 'rainforest' became quite literal. Water pounded into the ground day and night, and the ocean flooded in from the east. It wasn't long before the rain forest became an enormous gulf of water found in South America. Fortunately, a lot of the denizens had very quickly adapted to these conditions.
  2.
  3. New aquatic life of all types began springing up around here; merfolk, naids, sirens, to enormous sharks and sea monsters never before seen by man. The Amazon is now mostly ran by the aforementioned seafolk that live within the inner parts of the gulf, who form small settlements found along the coast.

  5. Most of the Amazon is controlled by Gael Arce

  8. The Floating Isles/Higalik: Known as 'Higalik' among the inhabitants, there are several groups of humanoids that have adapted quite well to the harsh and cold conditions up north. These men and women used both magic and tools to carve out heavy icebergs from the mainland, letting these isles float freely across the ocean.
  9.
  10. The people of Higalik have their isles guided by who they call their 'shamans', who are essentially mages that have learned how to manipulate ice. With their combined power, they guide these isles to the other countries for the sake of trading with nearby settlements. Once they finish their trading, they then sail back farther north to repair any damage (such as melting from the heat) that their iceberg suffered from their trip.
  11.
  12. Higalik is ruled by different leading families that are controlled by shamans; they all mostly vote on different matters and handle things through sheer DEMOCRACY

  16. New D.C.: Formerly Washington D.C. of course. When The Awakening happened, it was one of the more fortunate of places. However, it was also one of the first places to be hammered by The Black Crusade; the cultists and their strength proved far too strong to hold back, and before long, everyone was driven out.
  17.
  18. Fortunately, when the black crusade separated, the cultists were left fighting among themselves, which lead to the Humanists charging in and sweeping over Washington for an easy victory! Now, Peter Johnson claims the white house as his new home, setting Washington D.C. as the capital of the Humanist movement.
