The Ideology and Goals of the Left Communist Party:

We are Marxists. We are Communists. We are Socialists.

(To clarify: There are non-communist forms of socialism, and non-Marxist forms of communism.)

You may ask.. what is socialism?

Socialism is the very negation of capital. To abolish capitalism, we Marxists propose that a violent revolution must occur against the bourgeoisie (the ruling class of capitalist society). Through organic centralism, i.e., the natural organization of the class conscious section of the proletariat into a political party (this is entirely natural and right, as class struggle is a political struggle), the proletariat will begin its constant propagandizing and spreading of the idea of socialism, alongside its development of the militant and illegal wing of the party that will eventually rise up in a spontaneous revolution during a time of crisis within our capitalist society.

Socialism proposes various things:

1. A brief stage of what is essentially a middle ground between capitalism and socialism known as ‘the phase of dictatorship’, or, ‘the stage of the revolution’. (Distorters of Marx will claim that this stage is indeed a time in which true socialism shall be existent, however, their claims do not hold up at all, whatsoever).
2. After the proletariat overthrows capitalism in our country, they shall wage global class war against the bourgeoisie during this stage of dictatorship. Once international socialism is achieved, there shall be..
3. Genuine worker ownership of the means of production. (Within the stage of dictatorship, the state essentially hires the workers, rather than individual capitalists).
4. The abolition of commodity production, wage labor, etc. (In a communist society, things shall be produced for use rather than exchange. Thus, commodity production is abolished. Instead of making things for the purpose of selling them, you make things for the purpose of using them).

Within a capitalist society, the bourgeoisie, (those who own workplaces, but don’t work in them) buy the commodity of labor-power (they hire workers), and give you a wage as the price for that commodity. You must work for them, otherwise, you shall be put into a situation that is alike to being thrown into a pit of fire and being told to find water. You will be given nothing. When you do give in and work, the capitalist pays you as little as possible so that their profits may increase. It is in their interest to pay you as little as they possibly can. A market is essentially the systemization of trade. Capitalism is indeed a trade. A highly involuntary trade based upon merciless exploitation of the proletariat. You, the worker, sell your commodity of labor-power to the capitalist, and you then produce commodities for him, in exchange for a wage. The capitalist obtains surplus value realized (profit) and then reinvests that surplus value into the process of production. The capitalist even uses their profit to go into other countries and steal valuable natural resources, (e.g., oil), and set up what are essentially puppet governments, so that they may profit off of the nation they have conquered through imperialism. Their exploitation knows no bounds. It is merciless and never-ending. It’s so unbelievably effective that now, our Earth is dying due to capitalism. Commodities are purchased, consumed, and vast amounts of waste are left behind. The capitalist refuses to use methods of production that help combat global warming, simply because they are more expensive and less cheap and profitable. Their position of power in private industry grants them power in the government, as well. Capital completely dominates the state.

Through the proletariat uprising and the stage of dictatorship, we shall achieve international socialism and post-scarcity (when there is an abundance of everything). From that shall emerge a communist society. It shall be classless, stateless, and without any form of currency.

Aside from the fact that we are Marxists, we are Left Communists. This means we reject revisions and distortions of Marxism spread by social democrats who wear red. In addition, we do have some unique views, regardless of our firm stance on sticking with the words of Marx and Engels. After all, we are not dogmatic, for Marxism is the ruthless criticism of all that exists.

1. We reject the notion that the stage of dictatorship is a stage of socialism. Within this phase is the most essential parts of capitalism: commodity production, wage labor, alienation, the value form, etc., etc. In addition, the workers do not directly own the means of production. Many Stalinists may claim that such a thing as ‘socialist commodity production’ can exist. However, this is simply false.

2. We deny the false claim that we are supporters of ‘democracy’. We support a system in which one class brutally exploits another. (However, in the system we propose, it is the class that once exploited us under capitalism that is now being exploited).
3. We are abstentionists. We refuse to engage in elections, and thus become reformist in our tactics. Participating in bourgeois ‘democracy’ is a waste of time, due to the rigged nature of such elections.
4. Our Party is against activism. Activists overestimate their activity in the class struggle and substitute themselves for the proletariat as a whole. Activism, thus, is pointless. Society can only change when the workers organize themselves as a class. On the contrary, we encourage things such as converting your fellow workers, publishing Marxist literature/essays, and, of course, engaging in armed insurrection against the capitalist class. Members may engage in activism, however, it shall be looked down upon, and the Party shall not officially endorse any activists.
5. We reject opportunist tactics entirely. Our opportunist enemies lure organic workers’ struggles intro their own parties for their own gain, and we refuse to take part in such uncommunistic activity. Our enemies also declare that workers’ can only gain ‘trade union consciousness’ organically (see Vladimir Lenin’s ‘What Is To Be Done?’). This is simply false. These opportunists treat the proletariat like cattle to be herded along. It’s absolutely sickening, and an unacceptable view to take of the working class. Our view of the vanguard is rather different from that of most Leninists. We view it as a ‘GPS guide for the proletariat’ of sorts.
6. We do not support nationalism. If nationalist movements were genuinely proletarian movements, they wouldn’t confine themselves to national boundaries of identity. (Patriotism is perfectly acceptable, though.)
7. We are not concerned with how society shall organize itself in the stage of dictatorship. (However, most of us propose a system alike to that of Anton Pannekoek’s Council Communism with a system of labor vouchers in place of money).
8. However, we are not Council Communists. We are not Bordigists, either.

These are our ideas. They are strictly revolutionary and proletarian in nature.
