  1. Wanted to go ahead and ask here just for future proofing I suppose, so here goes.
  2.
  3. Very recently, hackers have found out how to homebrew a Switch, and it's a pretty big deal. It affects every console currently on the market or that has been purchased up to this point, and cannot be patched outside of reconfiguring the hardware during the manufacturing process. They've even got it running a version of Linux, which is pretty big.
  4.
  5. This leads to the question: If someone did a run on a Linux based emulator on their hacked switch, would it be allowed or banned? I'm sure we're all reasonable enough to agree it'd be banned because PC emulators are already banned, but it'd be good to have a stance on it on the million-to-one chance someone comes up with that idea.
  6.
  7. I would like to also clarify, the answer to this question should have nothing to do with what we would do if/when an official port of the game is released by Nintendo on the Switch.
