  1. this route is not recommended for most people. for one thing, you have to do the salty roasted peanuts skip in this route. it also doesnt get first aid (or at least not until the end) and motor is out of the way. you also dont have green switch for disarray, and you dont get red switch until near the end. also, this route doesnt account for pit stops for capes most of the time, so if you expect to go back for powerups a lot, its probably not optimal for you. this route also does disarray just before pixel perfect, so you'll either have to finish disarray with a yoshi or go out of your way to grab one (if you want to skip pixel perfect). if you do decide to do this route, you should consider and even practice all those things first. this route also doesnt end on bowser if you care about credits.

  3. that said, this route is pretty good in terms of overworld travel. it gets red boot as soon as you can afford it (35 sets), and before a lot of miscellaneous cleanup in early/mid game. also because you do SRP right away, you have access to a good life farm early on. some exits are pretty interchangeable in this route, especially after red boot.
