  1. 01:53:09: RioCadaro When we last left our Underage Drinker....
  2. 01:55:43: RioCadaro He was joining his brother, Malahn, and his two squadmates, DelVech and Hendricks, and Cail, his contact into the family business and the underground markets of the world. After the day they were having, the group unanimously agreed the cure would be to get smashed to erase the pain....even if only for a short while.
  3. 02:01:38: Revas is not the type to get clear smashed normally, and even tonight he's holding back - mostly because he can't take nearly as much as these guys. Still, he seems to be enjoying himself again finally, relaxing with his little group in the midst of the many others who have decided they needed something too.
  4. 02:03:30: RioCadaro If you couldn't guess the town was full of drinking, tonight would prove it. You'd say there were more people at the Milotic tonight than there even were at the Poker Tournament. Even in the midst of chaos, people still were able to fork over cash to numb pain (though at a discounted rate, thanks to the decree of the bar's sweet owner)
  5. 02:05:25: Revas couldn't blame them; he's been through a Criterion assault before - one that was on a far, far greater scale, too. Every once in a while there's a moderately responsible thought involving that coming into his head, and then he clears it out of his mind with another sip.
  6. 02:05:29: RioCadaro Malahn isn't quite to the point of being smashed either, but he's getting there. Delvech and Hendricks, on the other hand, were not as hesitant. Tequila and scotch between the two and they were downright stupid at this point.
  7. 02:07:49: Revas is kind of glad for that; it's been a little bit awkward on the simple basis of who they are to be around them, but now that they're acting like... well, pretty much most other men here, it's not so bad.
  8. 02:09:25: RioCadaro Half of the bar breaks out in song, at which point Delvech and Hendricks join in with slurred singing voices. As they get up to sing for whatever reason you can't seem to identify, you notice Cail isn't anywhere near where the rest of you are. As a matter of fact...what is he drinking?
  9. 02:09:42: RioCadaro Malahn: How you holdin' up bro? Seeped into your veins yet?
  10. 02:11:34: <Revas> "...?" Revas blinks and watches a little, totally clueless about what the song is - though there's only a handful of songs a bar will randomly break into. His attempts to figure out which it has to be get stopped by his brother speaking up. "Yeah... 'course I'm doing well, wouldn't want to disappoint you on this~"
  11. 02:12:27: <RioCadaro> Malahn: Tch....When have you every disappointed me, Revas? C'mon....I wasn't THAT much of a prick in expectations back then, was I? Heheh.
  12. 02:14:23: <Revas> "Heh... guess not, no," Revas laughs a little. "Guess I've just changed a little while you've been gone. You know. Grown up and all that."
  13. 02:16:27: <RioCadaro> Malahn: *looks you over, taking a sip from his drink* Maybe an inch or so. You're still short stuff, bro. Haha! But butbut yeah...I getchya. So...you're intact but....this is a lot of shit on your side too. The fuck are we gonna handle this.... *sips*
  14. 02:18:48: <Revas> "Heh... hehe... well..." another sip, and then Revas hushes up. "...I guess... I start by getting sis back and then the three of us get the hell out of here. Unless I do something drastic like overthrowing the government... I don't think we've got much other choice, and I'm not up for something that big."
  15. 02:20:46: <RioCadaro> Malahn: Well you were on the right track by shakin' their boots with that stunt you pulled. The hell did you even get that shit again? Bah...Kloud, or whatever that guy's name is? The nerd?
  16. 02:21:54: <Revas> "Klaus. His Pokemon apparently auto-record everything. And, well... we were kinda right in the middle of it and got out of there together. ...We got pretty lucky today, compared to there."
  17. 02:23:27: <RioCadaro> Malahn: Yeah...looked like it. I'm still just havin' trouble piecing all this shit together. I mean....the hell is goin' on with Criterion? If they fuckin' took over Ramtaban, the hell do they need money for?
  18. 02:25:08: <RioCadaro> Cail: The world revolves around money, Malahn. We know that better than any schmuck in this bar.
  19. 02:25:32: <RioCadaro> DelVech: SCHMUCK...LE....That's....a Pokaymaun, isn't it?

  21. 02:26:47: <Revas> "Hehe..." Revas manages a little bit of a laugh, but if anyone's paying attention it's pretty clear that for just a little bit he's trying to think seriously about it.
  22. 02:30:08: <RioCadaro> Malahn: I GOT IT!
  23. 02:30:29: RioCadaro Cail, DelVech, and Hendricks all turn to Malahn's sudden outburst.
  24. 02:30:32: <Revas> "...Got what?" Revas looks moderately startled as well.
  25. 02:30:51: <RioCadaro> Malahn: The reason why they're wanting money...maybe...I mean...think about it, Revas.
  26. 02:31:14: <RioCadaro> Malahn: Money buys....what? What are the two types of things money can buy?
  27. 02:32:27: <RioCadaro> Cail: Uhm.....
  28. 02:32:31: <Revas> "...In any great amount at least... luxury, and power. And I don't see them here drinking with us."
  29. 02:32:34: <RioCadaro> DelVech: Chick....
  30. 02:32:39: <RioCadaro> Hendricks: ...and booze?
  31. 02:33:17: <RioCadaro> Malahn: No no no...simpler....products...and and....services! Right? So they want something in particular....or they're wanting someone in particular to do somethin'!
  32. 02:33:54: <RioCadaro> Cail: But what product or service could someone who just owned our government and capital need or WANT?
  33. 02:35:13: <RioCadaro> DelVech: Um...we just SAID IT. Booze....
  34. 02:35:20: <RioCadaro> Hendricks: ...and chicks! HAHA!
  35. 02:35:51: <Revas> "...What indeed," Revas is now chewing on his lower lip, seriously caught up in thought. He hasn't actually touched his drink in a bit now, and even if he laughs along with the drunkard's line... well, actually, something's sitting at the back of his head but the booze is getting in the way.
  36. 02:40:06: <RioCadaro> Cail notices you going silent and chewing your lip. "You look like you're pondering somethin'. What's up?"
  37. 02:40:14: RioCadaro Malahn looks at you, silently wondering the same as well.
  38. 02:41:52: <Revas> "..." he takes a sideways look at the other two, as if indicating something - followed by looking at Cail. "If you're right and they are looking to buy something, well... I'm sure we can find out what's out there, can't we?"
  39. 02:43:00: <Revas> " 'Cause, I get the feeling there's... I dunno, but I mean... ...nope. I don't have it. Might be too off to get my head around it right now; one of you remind me when I'm sober again."
  40. 02:45:33: <RioCadaro> Cail: Well....actually....you might be on to somethin', Almezas! We could track their spending and figure out what the hell they're going to use that money for! There's gotta be somethin' we can use to track them if they blow the money on something, even if it's underground!
  41. 02:47:51: RioCadaro DelVech and Hendricks have gone walking about the bar, leaving the three of you to talk for now.
  42. 02:48:11: <RioCadaro> Malahn: I knew there was a reason we kept you around, Cail. Fuckin' brilliant.
  43. 02:48:41: <Revas> "Well, there's something at least," Revas laughs a little, taking another sip now, finally. "In the end, I don't really care, I just wanna get the hell out of this country. But... hell, if this is gonna become a bigger thing, I mean... guess I'll probably be going in deeper before being able to pull out."
  44. 02:49:38: RioCadaro You hear Delvech shout from a good distance away. "THAT'S WHAT HE SAID, HAHAHAH!"
  45. 02:50:28: <RioCadaro> Malahn: If it means getting you and Yeula out of here, I'm willing to dig up a little dirt to find her. They find her important...she's one of their ...experiments. I don't think we have much of a choice if they think she's made of fuckin' gold.
  46. 02:50:31: <Revas> Revas actually flushes up at that, and bangs his head down onto the table.

  48. 02:51:02: RioCadaro Cail can't help but laugh at the stupid joke.
  49. 02:52:06: <Revas> "Seems like it. I was kinda hoping today... y'know, we'd have dinner, meet with Cail, and we'd all just... get the hell out of here, and that would be the end of this."
  50. 02:53:21: <RioCadaro> Malahn: Tch...that makes two of us. I think I've sucked the government's dick for long enough that I've earned my vacation. Soon as we get her, we're fuckin' gone. What're you thinkin' of, Revas? Johto, Sinnoh? Hoenn maybe?
  51. 02:54:16: <Revas> "Whatever works. Maybe go to Altho, I remember having fun performing out there," he laughs a little, though it fades away a bit. "Bet they probably still hate us back home in Orre..."
  52. 02:55:28: <RioCadaro> Malahn: Fuck Orre. Seriously....fuck them.
  53. 02:55:42: RioCadaro Malahn's tone shifts to downright vile seriousness.
  54. 02:56:49: <Revas> "..." Revas just responds to that with silence, not really sure what to say. "Yeah, guess that's out of the question."
  55. 02:57:33: <RioCadaro> Malahn's mood shifts as he sips his drink again, slamming the empty glass down. "Whatever, we ain't goin' back there. BARTENDER. 'NOTHER DRINK!"
  56. 02:59:28: <Revas> Revas manages a little bit of a hesitant smile, then takes another drink of his own, looking between the two. Damnit, now he's getting all miserable with this serious talk.
  57. 03:02:01: RioCadaro Malahn looks at you for a few moments silently. It's as if he can feel the tension he's caused. "Look bro...we got this shit, alright? I'ma fuckin' soldier now, and you're still that wise-crackin' cocky little brat of a brother, right?" He shoves you lightly with his hand. "We got this shit."
  58. 03:03:49: <Revas> "Yeah... yeah," Revas nods, letting himself wobble a little. "I'm just... yeah."
  59. 03:04:03: <RioCadaro> Malahn: You're just what? Scared?
  60. 03:04:33: <Revas> "...I'm not..." yeah right like he's convincing anyone staring down into his glass like that.
  61. 03:05:33: <RioCadaro> Malahn: Well, I am too, and that shit ain't gonna stop me from getting my family back together. How about you, bro?
  62. 03:07:01: <Revas> "...Nah. If I was too scared to do it, I'd already be long gone," a long breath, and then Revas leans back and chugs what's left of his drink in one go. It's still only half full, but by the time he's done he ends up coughing and sputtering a little, pounding on his chest and shaking his head clear. "Oh man that was a bad idea."
  63. 03:10:15: <RioCadaro> Malahn laughs. "It was a bad idea now, but once it sets in, it'll be a really gooooood idea!" Following in your stead, Malahn downs the last of his drink as well.
  64. 03:11:12: <Revas> "Oh man, I hope you're right," Revas still needs a few moments to collect himself after that one.
  65. 03:20:40: RioCadaro Malahn and the others (minus Cail) proceed to drink themselves closer and closer to Oblivion. (What do you do? If you wish to continue this that is)
  66. 03:23:36: <Revas> Revas definitely takes notice of this; while his brother's getting drunker and drunker and so is he - albeit slowly... "You doing alright, Cail?" He asks more because he -does- seem to be doing alright, actually.
  67. 03:28:24: <RioCadaro> Cail: Oh yeah...I'm alright. How are you holding up Revas? *Cail stares into his drink for a moment before replying to you*
  68. 03:31:19: <Revas> "A little... dunno, worn out?" he rubs his forehead a little, more from the booze settling in his brain. "Just... not used to having drinks with guys instead of girls or somethin'?" he jokes a little, because it seems like a good idea and maybe a guess.
  69. 03:32:58: <RioCadaro> Cail: Haha, yeah, somethin' like that. Big change of pace from living the life to...well, this. I mean it's not so bad, but takin' some getting used to. Usually my luck is all I need.
  70. 03:35:14: <Revas> "Yeah... sorry to drag you all the way out to this hellhole, man," Revas sighs. "I kinda... I mean not like I asked you to come out here, but... I put you in a lot of danger all the same."
  71. 03:36:38: <RioCadaro> Cail: Yeah but let's face it, when else am I going to be surrounded by this many drunk guys acting like idiots? I didn't realize just how stupid your brother and his comrades act. I mean....It's a rare sight to see them giggling and hiccuping like baffoons. Rare sight in any of you Almezas, coming out of your shells.
  72. 03:38:38: <Revas> "You say that like I'm not a charming outgoing guy," Revas jokes a little, managing a bit of a smile. "Or... something."
  73. 03:40:34: <RioCadaro> Cail: Oh you are. You're a regular ham. *Cail grins back* It's just a matter of knowing when you're faking it and when you mean it. I've worked with you guys long enough to know one's for presentation and one's for real.
  74. 03:41:43: <Revas> "Oh yeah? How much am I still keeping up the act right now, then?" Revas manages a bit of a smirk, curious... though his eyes aren't quite meeting Cail's.
  75. 03:45:59: <RioCadaro> "One hundred percent." Cail chuckles. "It's rare that you are ever outside of that shell, Revas."
  76. 03:47:19: <Revas> "..." Revas just kind of stares at Cail for a little bit, then... slowly lowers his head down onto the table. "...You're not... supposed to be able to..."
  77. 03:49:06: <RioCadaro> "Yeah well, just another one of my talents. As hard as this business is for you guys, you should really come out and enjoy the fresh air with us. Yeah, the world's going to shit. But is that really what you want to remember about it if we do get fucked? Hell no, I'm going to remember how much of a jackass your brother is making himself right now!" He points to where Malahn and his comrades
  78. 03:49:06: <RioCadaro> are. Malahn has the two of them slung over his shoulders like...well, they were prostitutes or somethin'.
  79. 03:50:40: <Revas> "...Heh, go figure..." Revas sighs a little. "They'll probably crash out together somewhere, and just leave me behind..." he sighs, grinding himself down into the table a little bit more. "...And you probably will too, won't you?"
  80. 03:52:07: <RioCadaro> "Me? The sober, oh-so-responsible one? Pfft, I'm not ditching out on you. And you honestly think Malahn would ditch you? I mean, were you listening to him since he found you?"
  81. 03:54:22: <Revas> "Tch, you're sober in all this? You cheater," Revas grumbles a little, managing to get a little bit of snark back. "It doesn't matter. They're all stupid drunk, they'll pass out well before I'm ready to. And I doubt you want some drunk fifteen year old kid hanging off you..." he's mumbling something more into the table when he says that.
  82. 03:55:50: <RioCadaro> Cail rolls his eyes as he stands up and walks over to you, slinging your right arm over his shoulder. "Hardly. C'mon, when have I ever let you down?"
  83. 03:57:44: Revas ends up leaning against Cail surprisingly quickly. "Well... not like you have, just... you probably shouldn't do this, you know. You'll get my hopes up."
  84. 04:00:36: <RioCadaro> "Get your hopes up fer wut?" You hear a voice from behind you.
  85. 04:01:25: RioCadaro It sounds....familiar to you, Revas.
  86. 04:02:02: <Revas> "...?" Revas gets himself pulled away a little from Cail, doing his best to turn himself around; though it's met with a little bit of stumbling.
  87. 04:02:40: RioCadaro Hey-hey! It's your 'friend' from before! How'd he end up here?
  88. 04:02:49: <RioCadaro> Cail: Who the hell are you?
  89. 04:03:14: <Revas> "...!?" It takes Revas a moment. And then the drunk part of him -completely- remembers and he goes beet red. "Oh, uh... hi!"
  90. 04:03:52: <Revas> (And then everything gets most fun and awkward. And just as I have to leave for work DAMNIT D: )
