- Start: 9 am, Moonsday (Monday) Midsummer 21, 401 GA
- The party did battle with the Iaríl, and somehow came out more or less unscathed, with Mortwin's Coruscating Scepter in hand.
- Alasdair and Ukurdiel attempted to handle the scepter, but found it to feel somewhat cold and unwelcoming to them. They gave it to Ryardynin, who found it to have quite the opposite effect.
- Before leaving, Alasdair opened Mortwin's sarcophagus and found ioun stones within.
- They left through the portal, finding themselves in the same place they left upon leaving, as if the structure was never there in the first place. Recalling the words from the note, it seems as if they missed a key detail. It was as if the tomb they intruded upon never was, or was lost a long, long time ago. It was as if it was transitory, or as if they were visitors in an incomplete reality.
- Confused, they departed. It was not long before they received a sending from Kaliero, at first expressing concern and then relief. He requested an audience with the Archons, and claimed to have greater insight he has gleaned through translating the chronicle of Galthan.
- Obliging, they made the overland journey to return to the Viszudar. It was a long and mostly uneventful journey.
- They met with Kaliero, who warned them cults of Tarmyra and Gisarlarinzee may be aware of their presence, and may be aware of the relics. Going through the chronicle of Galthan, he pinpointed the final two relics.
- The first is called the Talon of the Godsworn, and was used by the peerless swordsman Cyriak Garontor. Kaliero was able to pinpoint its location with his sorcery to the Ain-Shan side of the Giants Cradle mountains, north of Orashire. There, it is wielded by a four-armed gargoyle named Eaoric the Bloodthirsty. He leads a warband of harpies in a long abandoned Yoggite fortress.
- The other is called the Circlet of Living Ice. It was previously owned by an unlikely champion of humanity, a Fortisskari elf named Ílíshlu. He was unable to pinpoint its owner or location, but suspects it was returned to her homeland, and is either in Fortisskar or in the forbidding farthest southlands.
- Kaliero brushed off the brusque attitude of the Archons, gently reminding them he is here to advise and aid them. He offered to pay for half of the charter for a boat, if their first goal was the southlands.
- He warned the Archons to exercise caution, because he did not have the only eyes on them. Minions of the beyond often become glutted on wealth and power offered to them in transactional pacts, and some of the enemies minions are mighty indeed, with powers to rival Kaliero's. He suggested to approach the Talon of the Godsworn first, but reiterated neither path would be simple.
- The party kept this in mind and considered what to do next, departing from Kaliero's office.
- They bought and sold to better prepare themselves for the hardships ahead.
