- This needs to be run whenever you add/remove mods.
- The UI is very convoluted so do follow the following instructions:
-
-
Extract the archive anywhere you want, does not have to be in the game folder.
-
Open the file by double clicking it.
-
There are two parts, the left pane is the load order manager, the right pane is the conflicts status viewer.
-
LO Manager - Check the Enable load order re-ordering box - this prevents renaming of the mod files, and thus, vortex will not annoy you.
-
Conflicts Viewer - Set the "Archive Path" to the archive/pc/mod folder.
-
Conflicts Viewer - Click "Re-check conflicts" button.
-
Conflicts Viewer - If there are any conflicts, they will be populated in the pane.
-
- LO Manager - This pane is used to order mods which are displayed as tiles which need to be dragged and dropped. Yes it is frustrating, and there is no way to limit the list to only conflicting mods. The changing order will reflect in the conflicts viewer for you to keep track of.
-
- Conflicts Viewer - This pane is just a status window, it does not do anything other than show conflicts and help you figure out which mod is overriding and or being overridden. Once conflicts are populated in the pane, each mod will have a status circle alongside its name.
- Green status means the mod is overriding or winning and Red means it is being overridden or losing file conflict(s). These statuses are representing individual file conflicts so each mod can have both.
- You can expand each mod to see which files are being used from the mod (winning) and not (losing). Further expanding each file will reveal which mod(s) it is being won from or lost to.
- Managing Conflicts - Essentially conflicts are not fixed but managed, this tools gives you agency on which mod overrides, which mod. You will reorder the mod list in the LO Manager while keeping track of the changes in the Conflicts Viewer, which will get updated whenever you change the order.
