- I often upload pictures and fool around with the editing, but then I'm only able to download a much smaller version. For instance, a MB file. Upload and share via link, unlimited P2P traffic, free storage up to 2 months. Re-downloading the file from Google Photos gives me a MB file, suggesting that there could be even further compression done for sending the image over.
