  5. I have another question regarding PC group. After they're deemed PC, they'd be separated from their families to prevent infection, right? In that case I'm assuming some sort of government message would be sent to their families and they'd still be able to have contact with each other but not meet, right?
  6.
  7. Also it is also possible for a family member to be a primary contractor but end up as omega strain instead of alpha/beta, correct? Just wondering so I can sort out some history things, thank you!

  12. Yep that would be correct!

  14. Anddd primary contact is basically synonymous with Omega - they have acquired the virus but have survived, though still contagious. The virus here is stable and will never mutate at this stage.
  15. When the virus travels from an omega strain to a different person however, something goes wrong in the virus DNA - thus often mutating to a Beta/alpha.
  16. (If you'd like some in-story theory about why this is : The virus was originally engineered in the lab to kill people without the virus spreading. As it turns out it doesn't kill the primary infected person, and ends up spreading it instead ; this spreading was not supposed to occur, thus the unpredictable mutation into alpha/beta. )
