Atticks Bio

Atticks Theodore Morgan was once a simple man, before the world got so damned complicated. He avoided joining the military, opting instead to finish university and study linguistics. He hoped to one day travel the world and taste good food, and exotic women. Fate, of course, would have different plans for him. His university funds were pulled by his father who demanded he make a man of himself in the British Air Navy.

When he had completed his signing requirements life would, once again, throw him for a loop. He was stolen away from his apartment in the dead of night and taken to an underground facility. It turned out his scoring on both physical and mental aptitude tests had proved him to be exactly the sort for Military Intelligence. In the official texts, he was a Navigator aboard the HMAS Liverlily. In reality, Atticks did get to travel the world, but not the way he had dreamed. He was planted to spy under various disguises. Servants, soldiers, noblemen, and more. He melded into most his roles incredibly well, and his language knowledge got him many places other agents could never get.

Due to his service, the British uncovered the Russian’s use of the paranormal as a weapon and foiled two assassination attempts on members of the royal family. Sadly, information always comes at a price. In the final moments of his most recent mission, he and two other agents were prepared to exfiltrate the Russian manor they had been working at for several months. Someone, however, tipped off the Baron of their allegiance and as they attempted escape, he released his new pet using the British agents as test subjects.

What would be dubbed a “Hellhound” tore apart Atticks’ partners only to be slain by Morgan himself, not after suffering severe wounds. He was brought home by the ship that was sent to pick them up and promptly knighted within weeks of his recovery. However, instead of returning to his work he requested a transfer into the Order of the Scythe. After witnessing it firsthand, he could not allow the paranormal to be used as weapons of war.
