Buttism is a state of mind. Anyone who subscribes to the general principles of Buttism may be a Buttist.
The ultimate goal of all action is lulz. The more widely shared the lulz, the more successful the action, naturally. However, just because a target cries "That is not funny", does not mean lulz have not been acheived.
MOAR fight is a noble pursuit. Even if the fight is not immediately lulzy, fight in and of itself is deemed a worthy pursuit. Old fight is less worthy than new fight.
Ts are superior to Fs; thus is intelligence always valued over stupidity. Any action, however otherwise reprehensible, may be redeemed by clever implementation, especially if it produces lulz.
Foolish actions and embarrassing revelations open you up as a target; all schtick is self-inflicted, and thus cannot be repudiated.
Sporking people for their admitted faults is an easy target for lulz; it is therefore acceptable behaviour, but not the highest form of wit. Manufacture of new lulz should always be the ambition.

Inasmuch as we value intelligence, we value intelligent expression of ideas. Stupid expression is an invitation to mockery.
Tard-licking is never funny; thus we abjure it.
Meatpuppeting and other low strategeries are open to mockery when discovered.
Glomping is anathema.
Memes should be used to spork, not to glomp.
MOAR fight being a goal of Buttism, and Buttists being regarded as sovereign individuals, no Buttist shall require loyalty from another. Factionalism ought to arise from a meeting of the minds.
