Sleep Well Commander

The Commander let out a loud sigh. It was the end of the day and the sun was dipping below the horizon. It had been another long day of filling out paperwork, approving construction on the base and whatever small things that had found its way to his desk. Needless to say, he'd been sitting at his desk all day since the early morning and he was so focused on his job that if it weren't for Atago he'd have gone without any food or drink at all(something Atago had to force him to take a break for).

"The day is finally done." The Commander said getting up from his seat "Thanks for the help Atago."

"Of course Commander." Atago replied with a warm smile, she had actually become quite tired herself, while The Commander had been wrapped up in his work, she was busy making sure he hadn't been disturbed. From Taihou attempting to infiltrate the office, to Portland attempting to bother him with some...questionable reading material regarding Indianapolis, Atago herself was equally as tired as the Commander. However, that tiredness turned to shock when she saw The Commander take a step...and promptly fall on his face.

"C-Commander?!" She exclaimed turning him over only to be met by his passed out face "The poor thing...wore himself out." She murmured moving him to the couch. It was clear to Atago that The Commander had completely overworked himself and so she took it upon herself to comfort him. Laying him gently on the couch, she positioned him so that his head would be on her lap. While she was so desperately eager to go to her bed, Atago had to admit that...this wasn't bad. It was quite nice even, especially since she got to see The Commander's sleeping face close up.

"Cute..." she muttered to herself as she lightly stroked his hair. It wasn't fair, The Commander had no right being so adorable, even while he slept from exhaustion! The worst part is that Atago could feel a switch being flipped. Surely it wouldn't hurt if she indulged herself just a bit right?

Looking around, Atago made sure that no one else was present. She'd never forget the time she saw Roon creepily staring at the two of them from the window and how her eyes had given off a terrifying red glow before she disappeared. The coast looked to be clear and so Atago did something she'd always wanted: Slowly, almost nervously, she planted her lips against the Commander's, bringing his head up slightly to meet her halfway. It was quick and she hurriedly pulled herself away and placed his head gently back in her lap. While the kiss was just a light tap, Atago's mind was going a mile a minute.

She did it. She really did it.

Was that rape? No, it wasn't right?

It totally was!

The Commander is going to hate her!

But it was really nice!

Maybe do it again...?

And so she did. Atago kissed The Commander for a second time, this time lingering on him just a bit longer before releasing him again. it was an exhilarating experience. Atago's chest felt extremely warm and before she knew it she had gone back down to kiss him again.

And again.

And again

And a third time after that

Each time she went in for a kiss, she stayed connected to The Commander for just a little longer. It felt so...so right. This was something she wished she could do forever. She didn't even feel tired anymore. The Commander's lips had the power to completely remove fatigue! Or well, her fatigue at least. Realizing that she couldn't sit there forever, Atago finally stopped herself from pampering (and kissing) The Commander and carried him to his quarters, content to let him sleep the rest of the night. This would be a cherished moment all her own for the rest of her days.

The next morning came and Atago had made her way to The Commander's office, ready to help him with the days tasks. The man walked in with a loud yawn.

"Sorry I'm late Atago, I slept like a log last night."

"It's fine Commander, I've already organized today's paper work. It's far less than yesterday."

"That's great. I've got some plans tonight anyway."

"Oh, may I ask  what they are?"

Without a word, The Commander spun around towards her and took a step forward, gingerly grabbing her chin and bringing her lips to meet his.

"Anything that involves me and you of course." He said with a wink

Needless to say Atago was a stuttering wreck for most of the day...
