Aksinya stepped on the mirror flowers and broke some along with the rest of the camper kids, causing bad luck to fall upon them. Misfortune has fallen on all the others, but not her. Why is that...?

The answer: there is already enough bad luck in Aksinya's future that there was no need to add anything unexpected!

Given her particular talents, Aksinya seems best suited to be a bard, and it's only a matter of time until the party realizes she should be taught by the party member who is most qualified to do it, and who has the most appropriate skill sets.
