Alestorm - excellent pirate metal. Listen to the hits, u won't be disappointed for the most part.

All About Eden - cool group that crosses metal w/ EDM flavours. Not a well known group at all. No Dancing On The Tables is their biggest song I guess. Hard to find much of their stuff, but what u can find is good.

Avenged Sevenfold - everything before and including Nightmare is excellent. Self-titled album is great in particular. Their first two albums are heavier. First album is messy in parts but has some great tracks like Turn The Other Way, Darkness Surrounding, and Lips of Deceit.

blakfish - Champions is a pretty solid album, some interesting and somewhat heavy stuff there. Bit different to most stuff, in terms of how the music is constructed (from a music theory standpoint) tbh, which is cool.

Blink182 - great pop punk band, went a bit more rock in their latest (assume its latest, idk, the one w/ Natives on) album. All their hits and then some, just, go listen to everything u can find by them they're excellent.

Bring Me The Horizon - some good songs include It Never Ends, Chelsea Smile, Anthem. Idk their material too well tbh. Their oldest stuff is deathcore.

Exist Trace - great visual kei japanese melodic death metal xDD no rly some good stuff, again just listen to the hits like Dream Rider, Ginger, Daybreak, Resonance, etc.

Flyleaf - their hits are good and kinda cute

Halestorm - great hits. I Miss the Misery, I Am The Fire, Mz. Hyde, Love Bites (So Do I), Here's To Us, Apocalyptic,

Hollywood Undead - first album is great, second album has a lot of great stuff on them, their later stuff was not as good

Iron Maiden - all the hits. Amazing, classic group. Infinite Dreams is maybe my favourite one of theirs.

Korn - they're an interesting one... only metal band (or any group) I know to make a dubstep song with a bagpipe solo (no really, in the song Bleeding Out)... the whole album it is from, The  Path Of Totality, features a lot of big dubstep names, like Skrillex, Noisia, Excision, and so on. Worth a listen. Besides that weirdness... Freak On A Leash, Twisted Transistor, Word Up, Here To Stay, A.D.I.D.A.S.

Manga - cool turkish group. Try We Could Be The Same (they played it at Eurovision!_!) and Yad Eller

Metallica - My favourites are All Nightmare Long and The Unforgiven, which DEFINITELY merit a listen, and of course Enter Sandman is a huge hit. Death Magnetic is the only album of theirs I own and there's some cool stuff on there like Cyanide and Suicide & Redemption... very long songs mind. Also good is One, Nothing Else Matters, Fade To Black, Master Of Puppets, I Disappear.

Mindless Self Indulgence - a lot of great tracks, a lot of shit, they are the ULTIMATE shitlords of the music scene (well in metal but with edm influence again). Check out Never Wanted To Dance, Molly, It Gets Worse, Pussy All Night, Bed Of Roses...

Muse - first 5 or so albums, just listen to the whole way through. There's less than 5 bad songs across those 5 albums. Excellent group.

Otep - listen to the hits, they're excellent. Maybe start with Apex Predator, Smash The Control Machine, and Equal Rights, Equal Lefts.

Outcry Collective - Dead In The Water is a great song, and the rest of their album Articles is pretty good too. They also did a remix of BMTH's Suicide Season which was cool...

Paramore - the hits are excellent.

Rammstein - the hits are great, interesting german band. Try Feuer Frei for example.

Red - listen to the whole of Innocence & Instinct and Until We Have Faces, both albums have no bad songs on. Very catchy. (technically they're christian metal LOL but trust they're good)

Steel Panther - decent glam metal parody band, their first album has some worthwhile stuff... Turn Off The Lights is probably my favourite, the lyrics are fuckin wild and M. Shadows of Avenged Sevenfold is featured.

Turbowolf - their self-titled album is great :)
