  1. Hey,
  2.
  3. Here’s my list of parts which you can use to make a $1000 PC. Computer Lounge and Mighty Ape will have the same stuff at similar prices along with better service so shop around.
  4.
  5. If you want to build a more upgrade friendly PC spend more on the case, power supply, motherboard(If it’s AMD, with Intel you’ll need the top end Z370 chipset to get the K parts overclocked. So you’re need to buy a new board when you upgrade $220+) and skimp on the graphics card until you can afford a Nvidia 1070/1080/1080 TI.
  6.
  7.
  8. Cheap cases (You can go cheaper if you go for a random brand one) – $89:
  9.
  10. https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/CHACLM15931/Cooler-Master-CM-590-III-Mid-Tower-Case-w-Window-S - two included fans
  11. https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/CHACOR0101/Corsair-Carbide-Series-100R-Mid-Tower-Case-NO-PSU -one fan included but less gamer
  12. https://www.pbtech.co.nz/product/CHAPHA0300/Phanteks-Eclipse-P300-Mid-Tower-Case-with-Tempered -Best cheapo but modern case with glass and PSU shroud for cable management which can accommodate for decent cooling.
  13.
  14.
  15. Power supplies - $92:

  21.
  22.
  23. Ryzen gives you heaps of CPU core/thread options at the lower price points but if you only want a dual core with hyper threading then you can go with Intel parts: (Doouble check with someone as I haven’t built an Intel system in three years and the parts may not be compatable). If you spend big money the Intel i7 8700 K is currently the best gaming CPU but it’s $558 and you need good cooling and motherboard to go with it.
  24.
  25. CPU - $97
