- ++Sin++: A friend told me to come by and make friends before it dies. I thought i would check it out.
- ++Sin++: Im just so used to how all tbis worked like 15 years ago, and ive been away from it for so long... any suggestion seemed like a good place to start.
- Boetius Millicent: If you're looking to make friends, this old man won't mind giving you some guidance.

- Boetius Millicent: I'm afraid I can't impart any kind of instruction with this dawdling. Opportunities must be grasped with fervor.
- ++Sin++: Im all out of fervor.
- Boetius Millicent: Mhmm. My condolences.
- ++Sin++: I just need distractions
- Boetius Millicent: Hmph, don't we all?
- ++Sin++: I have specific things I'm looking to distract myself from right now... Trying to stay occupied.
- Boetius Millicent: Unfortunately, this old man doesn't accept useless disciples. I can accept you as an unpaid intern, and you can try to work your way up from there.

- Boetius Millicent: Ah? Well, I don't ask for much. You'd just keep my estate clean and guard it from intruders while I'm out. If you happen to raise some merits, perhaps I could even fetch some foundational cultivation techniques for you to train in.
- ++Sin++: I dont know much about tbe cleaning side of things, but I have done some guard work. Have a lot of potential intruders?
- Boetius Millicent: Quite. My estate is built near a ley line, so I get a lot of unwanted critters wandering around. Had to abandon and have the place rebuilt a couple of times because of migratory passings, actually. I'm sure you'll be fine, though.
- Boetius Millicent: I don't have the cleanest track record with my neighbors either, but I'll not talk about that too much right now.
- β§ ππ’π₯πΊ ππΆπ€π¬ β§: Did you get in a neighbor dispute, Boetius mon ami?
- Boetius Millicent: It isn't anything too out of the ordinary. I call them neighbors, but we live relatively far from one another. One of the benefits from staying away from cities. We just both depend on the magical beast forest [WinderCrest] for our livelihood and often end up hunting in the same territory. Someone steals the other's quarry a few times. Other guy claims it's been their clan's territory for generations. Someone uses the other guy's group to shake off a pack of ravenous [Blue Coral Fossa]. Someone loses an arm and is crippled for life. Eventually you just start forgetting who did what.
- β§ ππ’π₯πΊ ππΆπ€π¬ β§: Boetius, it sounds like you got an interesting life to be sure mon ami.
- Boetius Millicent: Perhaps, but I'm unsatisfied. I've been stuck in a cultivation bottleneck for years and my peers have soared past me and headed off to places of denser qi and fiercer competition long ago.
- β§ ππ’π₯πΊ ππΆπ€π¬ β§: De bastards. Any ideas on how to get towrd some dense qi?
- Boetius Millicent: It's no secret. One would only need to follow the ley lines to their source. The problem is there is a prerequisite of strength to support such an action. Whether it be personal strength or the backing of others. If I did something like that as I am now, I would only end up dying to something stupid.

- Boetius Millicent: These interns sure expire fast. Does anyone else have these problems?
