  1. Balance is all about give and take. About light and shadow. This is exemplified tastefully in the twin sawn-off shotguns that comprise this set of weapons, named for a distant star.
  2.
  3. The barrels of both are comprised of pure, refined arcanium with reddish swirls of blood copper twisted into the otherwise green metal. They hum and buzz with latent lightning magic, only further influenced not only by the base ingredients, but by two green crystals that crackle with static, one set on top of each.
  4.
  5. Normally the stocks of such stout, sawn off shotguns would be made of reinforced wood. Instead, these are made of a beast's great antler. Molded, shaped, and likewise runed to increase shock absorption from what would otherwise be a powerful, rocking blast.
  6.
  7. As alike the two are, they are still readily able to be told apart; one of them seems darker, its edges a bit harsher somehow. But chief among its differences is the great, glassy eye of a dead beast staring sinisterly out from the stock made of its very own horn. The other is a kinder thing, more polished and glistening. On the outside, by contrast with the devious eye, sits a medallion of infused star metal.
  8.
  9. No light without darkness. No joy with out sorrow. No life without death.
