[20:23] After scrounging around the city for a few minutes the Sirenian started to leave. Though he felt it'd be wrong not to at-least stop and ask about what this place was.

So, on the way out they'd turn towards the woman standing alone and ask. "Hi, what is 'dis place?"

[20:28] Needless to say she was shocked. Something like that was able to speak? A careful backstep was taken by the prim and proper lady as she eyed the being before her, judging it for far too long before she responded.

"T.. This would be Levengard. Are you not from here?"

Of course he wasn't.

[20:33] Bulbous eyes noticed that that she'd taken a step back before answering. His yellow hues twirled about the spot he was in and came to the conclusion it was a bit of a crowded thoroughfare. So, he'd take a step forward following along.

Tentacles twirled about in the mockery of what a more human mouth might call a smile before responding. "Chaaha! No! I'ma from a little o'er yonder. Where'ya from? Here? O'er yonder as well?"

[20:34] She took another step back as he moved forward, cutting through his question with a demand of her own. If she were a bit more fidgety or scared she most likely would have drawn her blade, but as it was? She was creeped out. She did not want to have to shake a slimy tentacle or whatever this thing would offer.

"Please keep your distance."

That question was left unanswered, unfortunately.

[20:36] Freya Kriszta exclaims, "Oo!"
[20:37] A soft humming noise escaped the little Sirenian's maw as they stopped following along. Their head tilting curiously at the order.

"Why? Whas'sa wrong, 'Ya sick?"

What could be considered an insult was smoothly overlooked as they little Sirenian did indeed keep a respectable distance.

[20:40] "I am fine as I am right now, thank you." She answered, regaining a bit of composure when the distance was drawn in a manner that allowed her to get used to this thing's appearance. Her gaze remained upon the being when she spoke again.

"Which settlement did you say you were from?"

[20:43] "I would think a wind crystal might be more appropriate for speed. Lightning crystals, in my experience at least, are more of a representation of unpredictability or power. For example, in a Blackout potion they offer the -for lack of a better term- 'oomph' that purges the mana circuits, working in conjuction with Popplus, I believe, as well as the unpredictably connection to those freed circuits offering unknown potential for increased attributes in a different form to the previous...orientation. My symbolic study of alchemical reagents is still in progress however, so take my suggestions as a theory rather than fact. Its worth noting that Lightning Crystals also serve as an energising agent in some brews, such as the aptly named Energy potion."

She took a moment of pause following that practical thesis, before responding to the previous comments. "Amber added to a stone skin has potential, although you'd likely need to add another agent to counteract the slowness factor. Perhaps a wind crystal. And yes, I understand the limitations the need for specific reagents impose, and feel that frustration all too well."

The teen offered a short small, admittedly greatly enjoying discussing alchemy with an actual other alchemist.

[20:45] Waved a hand towards the east. "I wander o'er yonder. Da' was from 'henna do." As he spoke his gaze shifted towards the south. Well one eye looked south and the other remained upon Rindou.

"Who're ya'? Me ya' ask? Chrom!"

[20:46] Freya Kriszta says, "Ooo. I need to cook some more stuff for this store."
[20:47] She frankly could not understand this being's dialect and it showed on her face. It was like trying to decipher what someone was saying with a potato in their mouth: Not easy at all. The young woman, at the very least, understood that the being was introducing itself. She offered a polite nod despite her disdain for the situation.

"I am Rindou. From house Sakamoto." She revealed. She knew not if that thing came from a high class or not; better be safe.

[20:49] Magdalen would depart quickly, heading into the clinic, and coming out with three small, thin needles! They have protective covers and Magdalen wiggles one around.

"These should be strong enough to keep a magi out for while..."

The needles are given over to the other;

"Poke her on any limb, and allow some time for it to take effect - best done when she's already knocked out, but if you restrain her limbs with water after she's restrained, it might work..."

She'll motion for that staff, and wave at Declan;

"Got those restraints, dear?"

[20:54] He'd cross his arms as he looked up at the rather elegant young woman. Though of course their knowledge of their station wasn't lost upon the young Sirienian. Whom offered a clawed hand, or appeared to before clacking the fist upon his chest.

"Forgo'da House! Chrom O'house Khan! Goodin'ta meet ana'O high bloodin'yea?"

There appeared to be a spark of excitement in the creatures bulbous eyes. Though they weren't exactly what you'd call noble in appearance it seemed they where at-least noble in blood. Odd?

[20:58] Althea's smile widened, the teen taking the slice of pie and returning the pancakes. She took a step forward, tilting her head slightly as she often did whilst thinking on something. "Creating completely original brews is a goal of mine, though perhaps it might be an idea to practice with a slightly simpler concept, such as alchemical inversion? For example, theoretically if one replaced the wind crystals of a swiftness potion with earth, and replaced the feather with amber, a potion of slowness could be created. The only concern would potentially be the alchemical stability of the brew. Still, a thought." The teen quickly wrote the suggestion down in her notebook.

"A potion to weaken a lightning magi would probably require amber and earth crystals, given they symbolically represent the opposite of a lightning magi. There would be more required, but its certainly a possibility."

[20:58] Calling her of 'high bloodline' wasnt something that she expected, although to the common of mortals she definitely was someone of high class; both born as a magi and in a reputed, wealthy family the young woman had learned from a young age how to behave towards those of higher standing as well as the best way to cut connections with the lesser ones. If it weren't for her mentors nudging her into being a nicer person she most likely would have demanded the beast before her no longer speak. Instead she allowed it to express itself.

[21:08] The Sirenian truthfully was having a grand time. For some reason they had a hard time finding others who wished to talk to them. Though they normally assumed it was due to their young age. A shame really and something they hoped to get over in a few years. A thick piece of flesh above their eye raised, possible a brow?
