  1. [14:49:48] Lighting. The cackling of it could be heard in imense frequency as a red haired man walked through the ruins of Loranthis. Many yokai were here, and the city seemed to have seen better days.. Likely what happened after a city got attacked by the majority of Valmasia's forces.
  2.
  3. A yawn escaped Thom as the red haired man walked through the paved streets, making headway towards the tower. His glaive would be sheathed, and golden hues stared forwards in a mixture of boredom, and idle thought. Upon his shoulders the source of the cackling could be heard in the form of an eletrical being, a small lighting monkey oft glancing around.
  4.
  5. The man came to a stop atthe front of the keep. Their golden hues stared forwards, noting the various people around and the empty perch. At last he would speak up.
  6.
  7. "I am told this is the location where I can find the Red Queen? I have a desire to speak with her. I come from across the Black Gate."
  8. (Thom M. Takashi)
  9. [14:53:13] Moving about the ruins with a smile the hunter would look onto the duo seeing the familiar face of a vampire but he would stop a moment and look at the other as he does not recognize him. Overhearing the words he couldn't help but to smile to the question but he rather just let the benched talker have his say.
  10.
  11. 'An easy thought as well, where did the Queen go. Perhaps I should go elsewhere in the meantime or watch these two possibly fight. Tempting.'
  12.
  13. To the hunter's thought as he would walk over to the fenced column and sit on a vacant part making it easier to rest. A long days travel to groom himself into a more distinguished hunter was easier than he would have anticipated. Until now Leraje was slowly trying to break free of his own mental prison to gain control once again.
  14. (Leraje Fein)
  15. [14:59:12] Looks like his wife didn't want to talk about the weather.
  16.
  17. ...or, something. Whatever the case, the vampire find himself sitting all on his lonesome once more. With Conquest gone, his wife doing whatever, and the few allies she had far from within his line of sight, all he does for the longest time is seemingly sit in silence. Hours, even days could go by without him blinking, moving, or speaking. While one may consider this the epitome of sloth, this is all for but a singular cause--
  18.
  19. To retain some level of self control.
  20.
  21. What better way to learn to do this that by sitting in the most populated part of the city, surrounded by human cattle?
  22.
  23. Sanguine slits finally rise on his third day of restraint, his third day without blood. With months of this so-called practice, he'd managed to make to day five without drinking. Day six, on a good week...
  24.
  25. Yet, when they shift around, two distinct figures happen to be spotted- a man with questions about his Queen, and the questioning soul from days prior...
  26.
  27. "...where you come from is your business. Don't feel compelled to explain yourself to me." A smile manages to find itself creeping along the corners of his mouth. "I can relay the message, but I must ask- do you have any affiliation with this 'Onibi' that so bodily makes claims to have some sort of control over this domain...
  28.
  29. ...and what business do you have with my Queen?"
  30. (Lorsha)
  31. [15:05:10] The form of another is noted, though besides the slight movement of the glowing eyes there is naught to that stranger. Instead the golden hues set upon the man likely leaking depravity on a bench near the keep. A few steps forwards are taken, moving to a better vantage point to look at the one whom he was speaking to, though still retaining a bit of space between them.
  32.
  33. "I have no afflication with anyone known as Onibi. I take it they are one of the kaors that was spoken of by the queen?" Thom would inquire, his gaze not flickering a moment from the vampire as a neutral look sat upon their face.
  34.
  35. "I seek information. There was one that was here under Dumuzid's rule who has information that I seek. I acknowlege that they are no longer here but I wish to see the notes of Gordanis, as well as his study. Nothing more, nothing less. Given his service to the imperfect, I assume such things can be located here.
  36.
  37. And as such it is under your queen's juristication. I suppose I could attempt a look without her permission, but someone looking through another's things without such is.. Not ideal."
  38. (Thom M. Takashi)
  39. [15:09:26] "Well, the awake one. To be simple on this, the Kaor isn't found in the cave system but I believe it will be in the forest roaming if not it will be here eventually. Method of elimination.
  40.
  41. As for you thunder, be careful the bench warmer is thirsty for mead. Never mess with a man who hadn't have a drink in such a long while, now what was I thinking of again. Right the opposition."
  42.
  43. The hunter spoke as Leraje continued to fight his way through the mindscape, the place becoming a maze of hell in its own design. Perhaps it was wise to stay within the prison for now and come out at the right time to take back the body, listening to the two banter. With each minute passing he felt he needed to kill another creature.
  44.
  45. Folding his arms as the hunter would look to the west wondering if the creature is there. Focusing back at the man covered in lighting he would tap at the column slowly, waiting. He did wonder what this person wanted with a paper.
  46. (Leraje Fein)
  47. [15:19:40] "Good. That makes things much simply, and precisely!" Yes, the heavily depraved figure would release a hearty chuckle. At the very least, he'd managed to find some sort of amusement with this encounter- where most mortals left him with little more than the desire to escape their annoyances, or...
  48.
  49. Thirsty.
  50.
  51. "I don't know who this Gorandis is, but I can relay the message. So long as you bring her an offer worthwhile, she'll likely be fairly reasonable." He merely nods. "She's as reasonable as she is monstrous." At the mention of attempting to sneak around? Once gain, he found himself basking within his own laughter.
  52.
  53. "I suppose one could attempt to sneak around a vampire, but I don't see that going too well. And, take it from me, I've already died once due to that woman's blade-- I know from personal experience as to how dangerous she can be to those who...defy." His gaze shifts from the stranger, to the vaguely familiar face.
  54.
  55. "Is that so? Truth be told, I don't expect it to come here at all. Not on it's lonesome, but..." The simplest of shrugs is offered. "It could bring the entirety of it's forces, and they would all fall to Conquest, the Red Queen, or whatever you make know her by. Numbers simply won't help the yokai in felling something like....
  56.
  57. Her."
  58. (Lorsha)
  59. [15:25:39] "Thunder?"
  60.
  61. The nickname earns a gaze towards the hunter, a look that lasts merely a few moments. The man seems unable to decide if it angers him, or if it does not.. Reguardless, the golden hues eventually glance away from the form of the golden haired man. "I do not intend to 'mess with' one who does not do the same to me."
  62.
  63. With that his gaze once more rests upon the vampire. "I know little about them myself. Only that they had infomation that I want in my hands. And I have a few offers off the top of my head that might assist her." The red haired man simply stated, though one could only guess what rested in his mind.
  64.
  65. "Though I must say, I am curious now. I do ever love fights." Thom admitted, a smile streaching across his face. "Even if it is only a spar or such, the chance to fight a monarch would be.. exquiste shall we say."
  66. (Thom M. Takashi)
  67. [15:30:46] "Now you are tempting me to go after the Kaor again, ah...sometimes I hate this. As for you bench, I believe you are spot on the sneaking because you don't seem like the type to mess around. Anyway I may have to venture off in a bit to find the creature, so I will either persuade it to come here or test its strength before wounding it and dragging it over here.
  68.
  69. Though I do want to kill the damn thing, I want to kill Rain as well. The man thinking of me weaker than himself, you should have heard the quiver in his voice a funny thing you know? Makes me want to choke THE LIFE OUT OF HIM! [he would chuckle]
  70.
  71. Now thunder, if you are going to grab that paper without being allowed by the Queen herself I will be with bench on this one. I have to ask is that a staff or a blade? Because I do wonder how strong such things are at times. I have to say I bet you my stick can break it."
  72.
  73. The hunter said with as a bit of darkness flowed from him looking at Thom with an excited look on his face. Taking out a literal stick that is abnormal but small as he pointed it at Thom. A chuckle but sounded more mashed between something else entirely to normal once again.
  74. (Leraje Fein)
  75. [15:38:27] "Before? I wasn't the biggest fan of violence. Believed it to be a necessary evil, but now...?" While he keeps it to himself, violence brought upon a joy that out-rivaled even the pleasures of the flesh. But spars...? "Things have changed, I'm still adjusting. I'm afraid I'm not a big fan of engaging in spars, likely because can't I partake in them- but my mistress...? Her control over her bloodlust far exceeds mine, so perhaps...there may be a chance at sating your curiosity."
  76.
  77. He'd shrug.
  78.
  79. "Regardless, I'll pass her the message. As long as your offers are worth while, well...everyone may very well benefit from this meeting." When he stands, the full height of the six-foot-six former pureblood can be witnessed. Perhaps, Thom may noticed certain features that Asami, Yorrick, or any of the Larencia's may have contained...
  80.
  81. Despite his pale flesh, red eyes, and lack of horns and wings, he very much still retained the appearance of Caligula.
  82.
  83. His gaze merely shifts to the other mortal, who seems to be much louder than Thom. "He made his claims. No intention of disrespecting my Queen, but- the both of you seem to have a thing for violence. Maybe, stranger, you can get your fix...and perhaps, you...hunter...can get in a bit of practice before hunting down that cretin?"
  84.
  85. Just as he intended to rise and hunt for a meal...
  86.
  87. Things managed to get potentially entertaining.
  88. (Lorsha)
  89. [15:45:16] "I do not intend to steal from the Queen." The red haired man said, voice filled with slight displeasure at what he presumed was Leraje's claim. "And my weapon of choice is a glaive. It is useful if I need to get in close and also if I need to cast my magic. It has no special name.
  90.
  91. But, I impore you. If you do think that your stick can damage my glaive, why not take me on in a fight and find out? Though I assure you, you will see the errors of your assumptions rather quickly." The golden hues gazed towards Leraje as perhaps what could be seen as a sneer came from the man. Around him red lighting cackled, an intensely high voltage that could likely be felt form this far away. It was not something that could kill a man but..
  92.
  93. Something with lighting of that magnitude could leave quite a shock.
  94.
  95. A glance then would be taken to the red haired Vampire. "It is a shame that I can not spar you, but if such a problem exists, I do understand. If your queen however has such control.. I do hope that she would accept my invitation for a spar. It would be nice to see the power of one of such high standing."
  96.
  97. A nod, one of gratittude. "Thank you for sending hte message however. And indeed, I do hope that everyone benefits." The similar facial paterns and features are noted and slightly picked up on.. But Thom makes no comment on them.
  98.
  99. "But indeed. Perhaps I shall recieve aid in getting a fight now. If they wish to partake in a spar." The gaze once more rests upon Leraje.
  100. (Thom M. Takashi)
  101. [15:56:22] "Practice, I guess your right but I had killed a lot of those shiny bugs deep within the desert cave. I guess it can't be helped I better someone worth my time to fight to the death with or spar more likely. Or a delicious Yokai morsel.
  102.
  103. As for your glaive, trust me this stick is stronger than it may be flimsy be. I killed a special Kaor with it then other of its weaker counterparts, I am unsure what this thing is perhaps you have a idea of what it is? You may have more of a experience in things like this right?
  104.
  105. Now your power is very nice but I prefer the more light oriented kind, though darkness is more of my home ideal. Say before I go Thunder Glaive, if you are going to fight the Queen invite me to the place of battle for it. Also tell me do you know of what those Sunflower Heroes are doing?
  106.
  107. Their annoyance has my blood boiling, unless you are from there which I highly doubt my stick and your glaive will not cross paths yet. Those so called heroes will have their downfall eventually and I will step on their ruined land. Seeing everything they worked so hard for turn to dust."
  108.
  109. The hunter spoke as his mouth began to drool a bit at the thought of it. A sigh was heard as he wiped it away from his arm, putting away the small stick by his side he would get up from the column and walk off. Waving his good bye to Lorsha and Thom, Leraje would slowly break free and was beginning to take back his body as a twitch of the left hand began to move on its own.
  110.
  111. Leraje was slowly taking back control and punched himself in the face as the hunter would grab the left hand with the right. Chuckling softly as the hunter would rage to a sudden silence only to mutter in anger,
  112.
  113. "You damn fool! You think you will take control? I don't think so, I am the one who owns this body not you! WE ARE IN CONTROL!"
  114.
  115. The hunter spoke in a gutteral tone, as Leraje continued to fight for his body again. Smiling slightly at a embarassment looking at Thom he would wave his right fingers as a goodbye before leaving in a hurry. The disjointed voice would mutter out of the hunter's mouth as the fight may continue on as the wandering to look for the Kaor continued.
  116. (Leraje Fein)
  117. [16:03:12] "In that case, I'll seek her out immediately."
  118.
  119. Would the hunter accept the offer? Part of him, deep down, knew exactly what he was doing. From a tactical standpoint, to witness Thom in action before delivering a report? It would have been a wonderful idea! But, despite the clear thinking that came along with his dulled emotions, he had many years to evolve from a beast with little control, to a cunning monstrosity.
  120.
  121. This was merely an attempt to satisfy some primal desire. While he still felt intense remorse for the lives he takes while feeding, he couldn't deny himself the sheer pleasure of combat, of bloodshed! Every since he'd watched Zasanik's head get torn from his body...Lorsha continued to emerged, while remnants of Caligula steadily faded into the ether....
  122.
  123. ..but it seems that he'd get no violence, and furthermore...
  124.
  125. "Sunflower?!" If Qualza hadn't permitted that malpercian within the city, then he'd have never encountered Luna, again. He'd have never engaged in combat against such an overwhelming entity. He'd still be a pureblood. He'd still be alive. While the prospect of immorality excites him, he can't help but long for his days from before- he couldn't help but long for the ability to turn into a dragon, to spread his wings and fly...
  126.
  127. To live without he need to take a life.
  128.
  129. "Don't-...agh!" Don't mention them, he wants to shriek. Don't remind me, he wants to protest. But- all he manages to do is fly away, disgruntled, with a look of severe annoyance plastered upon his visage.
  130.
  131. He didn't want to be reminded of his old home.
  132.
  133. He didn't want to be reminded of them.
  134. (Lorsha)
  135. [16:10:01] A shrug of Thom's shoulder as he glanced over to the hunter. "I beat down a kaor with this glaive when I was ten. My power has only increased. Such a comparision does little to reveal the abilities of either of us." The red haired man states simply, a frown on his face. "But very well. If you do not wish to taste my power at this current time, I shant chase you down and force you to partake in a fight."
  136.
  137. The glowing hues then flicker forwards. "If you are around when I speak to the queen, I have no problem with an observer watching the fight. But I do not think that I will be able to delay such a meeting when it arrives. As they say, be there, or be square. As for those in that place, I can not speak for them." Thom stated simply. "Farewell."
  138.
  139. The golden eyes then moved to the Vampire, but it appeared that they as well were making their exit. Up and away they went, going off to give the Queen their report. A shame that more conversation could not be bad, but it was understandable. "Farewell as well.. I suppose I should have asked your name before you went.."
  140. (Thom M. Takashi)
