- Jump City was never quiet at any time of the day. The presence of the Titans Tower kept her
- citizens safe during the day but come night time, they were on their own as no matter how
- transcendental their protectors residing at the Titans Tower were, they were only four of them
- and they couldn't be everywhere, even if they wanted to be.
- The City did not take long to realize that there was someone missing among them, the boy in green and black
- with a crimson vest bearing his iconic 'R' symbol in yellow.Like how he had momentarily disappeared from
- all sight in his hometown of Gotham, the Boy Wonder had once again vanished off the face of the earth again,
- just as a series of high profile kidnappings concerning powerful corporate CEOs had occured week by week, putting
- pressure on the already depleted Titans who also had to deal with a newfound revival of crime owing to
- their only night shift compatriot seemingly out of comission.
- Cyborg knew how to keep a stoic expression when dealing with the city's various new outlets concerned with the
- sudden disappearence of their leader,he was exceptional at keeping calm the concerned faces that he had to answer
- to everyday but he,like the rest of the Titans, had the same burden keeping them up at night.
- Why did he do it? Where is he? Where's Robin?
- She could not recall the last time she took the train, she could certainly remember why she had forgotten,it was a miracle
- that she had space between her and the other passengers to breathe,he was not so lucky.Sandwiched between a rather
- large fellow who he was certain he had come across a couple of times at the butchery and a equally as wide gentleman
- with a baker crowned on top,Robin had started to regret taking the seemingly more unconventional escape route away from
- their pursuers, they did not have the luxury of having transport to bring them back to their ever changing hideout.
- From her seat facing his,Terra could hardly contain her smirk that was almost widening to a full grin as she got to see him
- suffering every minute between the weight of his two new friends. After all,it was her idea to take the less populous
- crowded line going down to Red Street where their temporary residence lay just a walk away from the station but Robin, always
- the wiser, thought it was better to be able to blend in than them getting caught out in the open by the Police of Jump City.
- In hindsight,it probably did not matter as the cops were patrolling the streets at night more than ever and that they would be too spread
- out to catch them on the run.
- At first it slowed and then came the screeches of the train as it came to a halt, both of them looked at each other and they got up,unsure of
- whether or not they knew where they were.Robin got up first, struggling to break free from the mass that was holding him down but ran out the
- door with Terra behind him.
- A walk up the stairs leading to the streets outside was all it took for them to realize they were not where they had to be.
- "Way to go genius, now we're off course with the cops on our trail." started Terra
- "I don't see any police here,I think we're safe." he answered back
- "Where are we anyway?"
- "We aren't that far from our apartment,Terra,I think I know how we can get there."
- "Whats inside the damn box anyway?"
- "I don't know,Slade rarely does tell me what I steal for him."
- He continued walking down, presumably towards the bus stop until he continued to walk past by
- "Aren't we going to go back? It's like nearly midnight Robin."
- "And that's when the Pier is usually empty."
