background : chaeyeon was born to a wealthy family. she moved to taiwan only three months old due to her father's marketing business. she grew speaking mandarin as her native language and was given the chinese name lian to be able to adapt better into the taiwan society. she moved back to south korea again at the age five but instead of moving to suncheon she went to the capital, seoul. her father had collaborated with a few other company and earned a great amount of money. her mother was offered to join a hospital as a doctor. yes her mother is a doctor. chaeyeon's first year in korea were tough since she couldn't speak korean at all she only knew the basics. because of that her parents hired a personal tutor for the first few years of her life in seoul. when she could speak decent korean she entered an international school. most of the time she was lonely at home it was her and their house maid who took care of her more than her real mother did. a lot of the times she went to visit her mother's hospital though. at her school she was offered to try playing the piano and she did. ever since then she stuck to playing the piano and dreamed of playing a piano as her career. when she got older her parents forbid her from playing the piano and forced her to study instead, chaeyeon always had good grades but they wanted her to rank no.1 within the whole school. throughout that time they also started training her to become heir for their company. chaeyeon tried her best to train for her company's sake however it didn't work out. she confessed to her parents that she had no desire to run the company at all. thankfully her mother managed to talk her father into letting her follow her dream to become a pianist. the position as heir got thrown to her younger sister hayeon. hayeon had always lived under chaeyeon's shadow, as cheesy as it sound it is true. hayeon was the one that barely got attention while chaeyeon recieved all the love. when hayeon was determind to become heir their parents were to busy training hayeon to care for chaeyeon. chaeyeon was off in her own world attending piano lessons after school since her tutions were cancelled. later in her teen years she entered an art competition just for fun, thats when she realised she also had a talent for art. at her school there were no music lessons so she mainly focused on art but after school hours she focused on music. after graduting from high school she entered a muisc university. at that time she moved into an apartment near hear university her parents had bought for her. in present days chaeyeon still attends her music school while working as a part time worker at fashion store style nanda.
