- Part of me wanted to blame the impulse - to set my bugs on him, to hit him with Butcher's pain-powers until he couldn't concentrate - on the aspects of the Butcher that were now inside me... but if I was going to be honest with myself, I wasn't sure that if Regent had controlled me yesterday that I wouldn't have reacted with just as much fear and anger.
