thing is, I didn't choose exivo as a mod.
that's gone through a process in the moderator forum
with every mod (but me, I don't manage the mods, it's annoy me) voting for
things that goes for :
- exivo was a (good) mod on GPGNET
- he speaks  slovenian, english, german and russian
- he is online early in the morning
the cons was that Luxun banned him from a tourney without clear proofs
the only crime was that he create a second account as point
as you did
as 90% of FAF did at some point.

"After trying to clarify a sandbox meaning issue, he repeatedly insulted me even after a warning. Banned him for the time being."
Do I think "it's probably a little harsh, I will remove the ban" as it was already an hour ago
then I open the facebook page
and see that you remove my right to post anything
and you post a stupid vote on it
so basically

"as I understand you all want to get back to playing FA. I (Anaryl) was appointed a Community Manager around the beginning of the year. I created this page as a place where we could share FAF related media in social media context (i.e pump FAF related content to our FB newsfeeds) Three months ago Zep and I disagreed over a decision he made, and I still stand by that disagreement. However, for some reason the situation seems to have boiled over today. Zep has forced my hand by denying access to FAF to everyone unless I hand over control of this page.
I was unaware that this was causing so much distress to him, so I apologise to him and to the community, whom I have endeavoured to engage, expand and educate.
That said, it hurts me that I am accused of "taking over" or manipulating the page. It has from its conception been my creation. It has always focused on providing the best content, and in the past month, and without any assistance been rather lacklustre, I apologise. It was never my intent to damage to the community, and this page has always focused on engaging the community.
However, we have reached a point where Zep has seen fit to hold the community to ransom & I cannot conscionably resist such an action.
This page will be handed to the control of the FAF administration as soon as I receive assurances as such.

well for the intel panes, i just want two panes were peopel can post
(on the left)
with a text pane under neath, a button to post it to the text viewer above
ideallly (as i learn more) i can make it so people can rate intel

ive learnt hwo to call the qt libs in python
and simply write independent windows frmo there
im just not sure how to work around your code
like if i wanted to be able to crete objecs at the galaxy level from the ui how would that be done

you probably need to connect one field with textChanged signal
and use the setText function of the other field inside the called function

it really depend what kind of text you want to display
ie. the chat of FAF is using a TextBrowser because we want some html formatting
