Q. What got you started in trading on Rocket League?|

A. Honestly? Opening too many crates and not getting anything I wanted. I knew you could trade with people but none of my friends played. I ended up meeting someone in game who asked me if I had any Zombas. I of course didn’t even know what they were so he explained them to me and I googled them. He then told me that items have certain values and there’s a whole market bustling for them. It opened up a whole new world to me at that point. My new friend gave me a sky blue unicorn horn and said it was really popular. He told me to use that to get something I wanted and since I opened so many crates I had some decent “pocket change.” |

Q. If you could snap your fingers and get any item you want, what would that item be?|

A. I’d want a crate chocked full of items that are Black Metal themed. Wheels with spikes, a topper that’s long black hair or a paint job that looks like how black metal artists paint their faces. I just think it would be really cool if they made some items based on music genres as a lot of people like to express how they feel with music, why not let us express our music tastes with our battle cars?|

Q. What is your best trade? Your worst trade?|

A. I think my best was when I traded my striker white octane for Scorer Titanium White Zombas and a few heats. Ended up trading the Zombas for more heats and got more than I would have that if I traded the octane for heats alone. |
My worst? I traded those heats away when the Equalizer wheels came out and I was trying to collect the set in the first week. Learned a huge lesson to never do something like that when a crate is new. |

Q.Who is the most influential person on here (on r/RocketLeagueExchange)|

A. Of course it’s /u/Yawbee! The guy brings wholesomeness to this sub. Every time we’ve traded he’s always been awesome. His positivity is contagious and puts a smile on my face. |


Q. Any advice for people new to trading in Rocket League?|

A. Don’t open crates expecting to get that high value item. Opening crates is fun and exciting but it’s all up to chance.  I’ve opened 20 crates in a row before and they’ve all been rare decals. Have patience. If an item is too expensive just wait, it may go down in value if it’s new. If there’s an item you’re looking for someone has it. You don’t have to take the first offer if you’re not comfortable with it.  Don’t be afraid to ask us questions either. Some people have been rude to new people sure but there are more people here willing to help then not. |

Q. Any advice for people new to Rocket League? ( aside from trading)|

A. When I first started I thought I was going to get good enough to play in the RLCS in like a year! Practice practice practice! And patience! Consistency is key. Also, go watch all the Why You Suck At Rocket League YouTube videos. They really help! We all have our bad days too. Sometimes if I play too much I have to take a break for a day or Two and when I come back I feel refreshed and am playing better. |

Q. Is there any item in the game, that once you obtain, you'll be done trading?|

A. I’ve slowed down a lot from trading but I don’t think I’ll ever be done. At least as long as I’m still playing. |

Q. What other games do you enjoy playing?|

A. Fallout, Wasteland 2, Friday The 13th, Sea Of Thieves and I still play old games like CHRONO Trigger, super Metroid and Megaman|
