  1. [16:23] After lying in wait for so long, people had finally passed by.
  2.
  3. "Ah... well, well, well. What do we have here?" He'd ask, smiling as crimson eyes looked over the two of them.
  4.
  5. "You two shouldn't be here but let's have a pop quiz. What do you suppose happens now?"
  6. (Agathion Mal'phas)
  7. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  8.
  9. [16:30] The young woman would slowly walk towards the area. More than ready to take a look at the demon before her. Her body more than ready for her to maintain her experiences. She was not afraid of what was to come next. A controlled set of breathing would be audibly heard.
  10.
  11. Her breathing would demonstrate large amounts of focus and control. As if her mana retention would remain at its peak. She would crack her knuckles as large amounts of mana would ripple outwards. In small concentrated bursts.
  12.
  13. "Trick question. I bust your jaw wide open, and you retreat and leave the townspeople of Osrona alone."
  14.
  15. She said smiling. Her mana control radiating from her as she had given the demonic entity a smile.
  16. (Minerva Elinora)
  17. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  18.
  19. [16:31] A simple patrol for demons, and look what they found... one of them. A smirk come across Kircheis face.
  20.
  21. "We shouldn't be out here? I believe it is the other way around." He would state, his azure eyes gazing into the demon's, slowly turning into a shade of gold.
  22.
  23. "What happens now? The answer is simple." With a quick flick, his staff would be summoned, ready to engage him. "We will follow Kraus's will, and deliver his divine punishment upon you, and you will no longer exist." Bold words, but he was confident in his ability. This demon would no longer exist after today.
  24.
  25.
  26. (Kircheis von Astrea)
  27. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  28.
  29. [16:37] Oh...?
  30.
  31. Both responses were interesting. He could tell that these two were the braze type, the type that would rush head-first into danger regardless of the consequences.
  32.
  33. That or they had incredibly underestimated the demon which stood before them. Though whichever of the two it was, they would learn with time.
  34.
  35. Just as the man had brandished his weapon, Agathion too would draw his blade, pointing it outwards.
  36.
  37. "That's interesting... you know, far too little do I meet humans that actually feel like fighting against me. Many of them seem to be content with pleading to escape, or simply paying me to not hurt them."
  38.
  39. Bright crimson eyes continued to glare outwards to the two and for the briefest of moments it would feel as though time had stopped as Agathion's mana had reached the height of it's pressure.
  40.
  41. "Just try to make this entertaining for me, mmn…"
  42. (Agathion Mal'phas)
  43. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  44.
  45. [16:44] * You have been awarded 1 Roleplay Points! *
  46. [16:49] Time for battle yet again.
  47.
  48. It was the type of activity that Agathion relished in. The thrill of risking it all, the challenge of mowing down those who stood within his path. To describe it in one word? It'd have to be called,
  49.
  50. exhilarating.
  51.
  52. Though... despite finding himself against those who seemed intent on taking him down, there was something lackluster about it all. The woman whom he found himself faced off with although she used holy mana which should've been an antithesis to his occult felt as though she had lacked experience.
  53.
  54. Agathion spent a majority of his battle shifting the flow of time to one more favorable. Despite being struck by many of the Elinora's attacks, he'd rewind it to the point of having taken little to no damage, only to smile.
  55.
  56. Minerva would no doubt find her stamina dwindling as time went on, though for Agathion he seemed to practically be within the same shape he started thebattle in, or near it at least.
  57.
  58. "Weak. Pathetic. You said that you were going to bust my jaw wide open, didn't you...?" He'd ask, disappointment clear within the Mal'phas' tone as he'd vanish into the shadows only to reappear next to the woman and grip her by the neck, squeezing it for a few moments prior to tossing her off into the distance.
  59.
  60. "You're not worth my time. Come back when you become stronger..." Eyes then veered over to the redhead. Hopefully he'd prove to be a better match.
  61. (Agathion Mal'phas)
  62. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  63.
  64. [17:00] The young female would prove the fight would be quite the challenge. The fight providing little to no leeway when it had come to opposing the demon. Her breathing become more and more harder to control throughout the fight.
  65.
  66. Her Strikes would become more and more effective throughout the fight. As her Mana infused strikes would target the Demons Torso. Heavy heaving strikes of damage would hit the Demon. Only for it to wipe and shrug of the blows shortly after.
  67.
  68. The reversion of time. The corruption slowly healing back the damage of the demonic entity. A grit in her teeth was visible from this point onwards. As the Demonic entity would slip in the darkness, hiding itself once more.
  69.
  70. Her Light wouldn't be enough to put the Demon down. But the improvements were getting more and more visible. With every rippling blow, she could feel the presence of occultic mana radiating throughout the body of the demon.
  71.
  72. However. Her efforts were for naught. She was unfortunately caught off guard. Gripped in the neck once more, and tossed aside. Fortunately landing upon her feet as a result. She would spend the remaining time pooling her mana with focus. Removing the aftermath of the battle, and recycling out her mana reserves.
  73.
  74. "Tch! Slippery Bastard. You won't get away with this!"
  75.
  76.
  77. (Minerva Elinora)
  78. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  79.
  80. [17:00] Minerva was tossed, his friend, his companion. His eyes would glare, the demon would notice his Holy Magic flaring up, his desire to protect his friend consuming him.
  81.
  82. "There will be no next time when I am done with you." He would state, his voice not matching his aura, for his voice was clearly calm, cool, and collected, the exact opposite of his aura.
  83.
  84. His staff would twirl in his hands, and he would point it towards the demon, he had a duty to do, not for the people residing within Osrona, nor the people of Esshar, but for a higher power, for Andriel, for Malziel, for Jaelthael, and most importantly, Kraus himself.
  85.
  86. "You will not grow any stronger, you will be vanquished, your legacy forgotten. Prepare yourself demon, for these are the last pitful moments of your life, a life that will be remembered by no one."
  87.
  88. But still, a silent prayer would be given as he entered his stance.
  89.
  90. 'Oh Andriel, Angel of Mercy, once more do I call upon you, for once again I meet my destined foe, a demon. A demon that most be stopped here, and now. Now longer will it roam this world, this beautiful world, so I ask of you to protect me, and to guide my magic, so I may come out victorious.'
  91. (Kircheis von Astrea)
  92. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  93.
  94. [17:14] Kircheis von Astrea whispers: ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gFqRH1Q8xPg
  95. [17:15] You will not grow any stronger, you will be vanquished, your legacy forgotten. Prepare yourself demon, for these are the last pitiful moments of your life, a life that will be remembered by no one.
  96.
  97. Those were big words, though rather than appear distraught or disheartened Agathion would instead smile.
  98.
  99. "Legacy...? Remembrance…?
  100.
  101. Do you think I care about simple things such as that? Kahaha… my goal is to usher in a new age upon Esshar. In time I will make this world just as my home has been.
  102.
  103. A battlefield.
  104.
  105. Everyone will fight for their own survival and the weak shall perish. It'll be a cycle of the strong hurting those weaker than them only for the weak to rise up and one day challenge the strong for vengeance."
  106.
  107. An ideal world within the demon's eyes.
  108.
  109. But-- enough of that, there was a battle to be had. A man who claimed that he'd deliver divine punishment upon him. How interesting.
  110.
  111. Though-- unfortunately Agathion's interest couldn't be held for long. Despite Kircheis fighting with all that he had, as well as with the spirit of Andriel on his side, it seemed the man simply paled in comparison to Agathion's might.
  112.
  113. Holy and Occult exchanged blows, it was almost like a lightshow, illuminating the forest in bright yellow and dark orange.
  114.
  115. "Why...? Why is it that you fight despite knowing that you're inadequate? Is it that important to you that you destroy my kind?" It was asked in all seriousness. Most people would have given up by now, yet the von Astrea fought on.
  116.
  117. Eventually, the demon advanced, extending an arm towards the man whilst exhibiting his prowess over the occult to drain not just his life, but also a bit of his essence something sure to severely weaken him.
  118. (Agathion Mal'phas)
  119. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  120.
  121. [17:21] A third, wearing the same emblazoned armor, bearing the old cross, appeared then. Her hand reached out towards the demon, her eyes closed, wings of radiant light spreading from her backside. A silent prayer, and a barrier would be all that the creature's fingers met.
  122.
  123. "Yes. It is that important." She would state, the priestess striding forward to protect her allies. Her sheer presence would aide them, their wounds slowly healing as the world came to life, the trees, earth and grass all fighting against the demonic taint of the entity.
  124.
  125. "I know your kind isn't taught what you are; or why you're here. Maybe you'll listen, if you're curious as to why we must purge you?"
  126.
  127. She was surprisingly calm. Shew knew that this would be a battle for her, and her only goal was that of saving her allies at this point. Victory was likely not something she could grasp against such a being, as both present were stronger than she.
  128.
  129. Yet she radiated hope.
  130. (Sapphire Ashfall)
  131. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  132.
  133. [17:22] Her teeth would grit in dissatisfaction. A struggling loss for herself and her comrade. Not only that, but he had received a visible bonus in suffering. She would slowly rub her forehead as she had taken a visible sigh.
  134.
  135. "Damn it! I didn't have enough to take him down..."
  136.
  137. She said. Giving a disheartened groan. She would take a look towards Kircheis. And provide the male with a fair nod, it was time for them to retreat and recuperate soon. Her grip would manage to find the young krausite.
  138.
  139. The young woman's spirit would not relent however. She couldn't sit well with the feeling that the demon would only enjoy the mindless slaughter of one another. The lives that weigh upon him would weigh little. If at all.
  140.
  141. "Lets retreat, and recuperate. We need to get you fixed up above all else."
  142.
  143. Until sapphire would draw forth. Sweat raining upon the females forehead..
  144.
  145. Damn,,,
  146. (Minerva Elinora)
  147. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  148.
  149. [17:23] And so the two would fight, the power of holy and occult magic clashing fiercely. He didn't listen to the demons words, they did not matter to him at all. His words were useless, unimportant, for what could a demon offer him?
  150.
  151. Indeed, Kircheis called upon Andriel, who guided him, or at least that is what Kircheis thought, his eyes tracked the demon, and Kircheis would begin to concentrate, and his aura would do the same, his holy magic slowly condensing, allowing him to move faster than he believed.
  152.
  153. Such a skill would come in handy, dodging a fatal blow, allowing him to put off a counter attack, but such things didn't matter, for the demon retaliated, and this time he could not dodge...
  154.
  155. "GGGAAAHHH!" He would scream, his body quickly getting him out the reach for another attack, but no longer could Kircheis fight. He felt something weighing down on him, a part of his stamina, his life, his essence, drawn from him.
  156.
  157. But he would not be captured, nor would he have to fight, as a third Krausite appeared, Sapphire Ashfall, and so he would retreat for the moment, tending to his wounds.
  158.
  159. "Don't let him get in close Sapphire." He would state, slowly moving off to where Minerva was.
  160. (Kircheis von Astrea)
  161. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  162.
  163. [17:25] How interesting, a third had appeared now. Though Agathion's time magic offered him a great healing prowess, he couldn't fully heal after two subsequent battles and now a third challenger had come.
  164.
  165. Breathes were a bit heavy as his eyes watched the newcomer who had strange wings coming from her back. Perhaps it was a new type of magic?
  166.
  167. "Humor me then." He'd respond. Sure it would be ideal for those who faced oppression to want to purge their oppressors, but perhaps there was more to it than that.
  168.
  169. "Tell me just why you all risk your lives to 'purge' my kind. Tell me why ants such as yourself have the gall to stand up to the superior race."
  170. (Agathion Mal'phas)
  171. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  172.
  173. [17:35] "Superior or not, your kind is a blight upon the world." She'd respond, holding out her hand. A glow of light came from it, forming a sphere. "Your existence is that of a human soul, plunged into darkness. Your nature is that of destruction, even towards your own kind. You were once created by Kraus, the one whom made this world, to help humans, but you've gone astray."
  174.
  175. "Because of that, if you were allowed to carry on as you will, your kind would consume everything, even each other. Until nothing is left. An empty world."
  176.
  177. Her eyes would lock onto the demon, deep blues staring into crimson red. "I don't blame you. You had nothing to do with it. These things happened long before you or I could ever have even dreamed of stopping such a fall,"
  178.
  179. "But fall you have. And the only way to restore your soul to it's nobility, is to release it to the Stars, so that they may cleanse your soul." She paused, attempting to at least let the Demon absorb the information.
  180.
  181. "It may sound odd, but we're trying to save you. And this world. You may think that this is all that matters, but what if I told you that there is a paradise beyond here, meant for souls that have passed the trials of life, to ascend to?"
  182.
  183. "I speak of Avalon. Kraus, the Angel that created us, and you, desired only for the trials of this world to be a stepping stone of ascension. Towards a perfection of the soul that would grant you access to Avalon."
  184.
  185. "Are you... Following at all, Demon?"
  186.
  187. The Priestess was actually preaching to a Demon. What a strange sight to behold. If maybe, there was a chance to educate them, perhaps they'd at least restrain their wickedness?
  188. (Sapphire Ashfall)
  189. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  190.
  191. [17:43] A blight upon the world.
  192.
  193. Immediately he began to regret asking as moments of time were spent listening to the Ashfall's words. What did she know about demons anyway...?
  194.
  195. Still, he'd stand there listening all the same until the woman were finally done speaking, only for his blade to be pointe towards her just as it had been the others.
  196.
  197. "You talk too much.
  198.
  199. You claim that you're making attempts to save us but if you ask me, all that you may as well try to save is your own lives. As you can see, the two before you have been defeated, just as you will." People who talked big but lacked the strength to back it up or even accomplish their goals had to be the most irritating type to the demon.
  200.
  201. "Ask this Kraus that you speak so highly of why you've had the misfortune of running into me today." Agathion's final words before he'd lunge in to strike, even in a weakened state from the other battles.
  202. (Agathion Mal'phas)
  203. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  204.
  205. [17:47] Her words fell on deaf ears.
  206.
  207. It should have been expected, but perhaps the Angels would commend her for trying? Perhaps her words would echo in his head for days to come?
  208.
  209. Some things were not answered in the present. The Demon lunged, and she'd answer in kind. Kircheis would notice a shining orb of light forming above her head. Already, she had begun to try and charge the technique he had advised her of.
  210.
  211. The question is, could she last long enough to cast the spell?
  212. (Sapphire Ashfall)
  213. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  214.
  215. [18:03] He wasn't quite sure of what to expect from this battle. This was the first time the demon had to battle three people one after the other.
  216.
  217. Though considering the quality of the other two one could only assume that the Ashfall would be a pushover as well. The third combatant in a row that used holy magic-- yet he found himself disappointed that none could wield it in the manner that Erika or even Rain had.
  218.
  219. As per usual, a combination of occult and time magic were used by the demon, the Mal'phas holding one in each respective hand whilst firing off orbs in the nature users direction.
  220.
  221. Unfortunate for her, occult magic often had the properties of draining life and those vines which she used would find themselves rotting within moments.
  222.
  223. "I have a question for you, human. How do you intend to purge all of the demons if three of you can't even defeat one?" It was asked with a smirk.
  224.
  225. Agathion knew better though. These were likely the weakest that Osrona had to offer, surely they had stronger members somewhere but where were they? Why did none ever go out to contest the likes of the demon?
  226.
  227. The battle went on for some time before ultimately Sapphire would find a curse being burned onto her shoulder almost like a tattoo in the shape of a skull. It drained perpetually drained her until healed.
  228.
  229. "You all may as well send someone stronger. I told that Ookami the other day that I wanted too fight Osrona's best... not-- the riffraff."
  230. (Agathion Mal'phas)
  231. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  232.
  233. [18:06] Sapphire Ashfall says, "You won't get better fighters because the 220's AFK at the pond all day and literally bitch if you try to RP at them"
  234. [18:10] Sapphire grimaced, as the curse burnt it's way into her shoulder. She fell to her knees, as her mana was exhausted. There was no possibility of her completing the spell. "... You act as though I expect to win..."
  235.
  236. Her eyes would still be firm, full of valor, even in her crippled state.
  237.
  238. "You're forgetting there is a higher power. They are coming, Demon. The Angels. We've heard them, and their Light is not forgotten."
  239.
  240. The Krausite breathed heavily, using her sword to pull herself back onto her feet. Even beaten and battered, she still stood for her beliefs.
  241.
  242. Would the Demon be able to say it could do the same, were the scenario reversed?
  243. (Sapphire Ashfall)
  244. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
  245.
  246. [18:17] Kircheis von Astrea says, "Robin."
  247. [18:17] Kircheis von Astrea says, "Demon, mines."
  248. [18:17] Robin lux Queen says, "Most likely would be gone by the time I get there, unfortunately"
  249. [18:18] Lumi Fenrir asks, "Huh..
