As I see it, here are the potential avenues that the party can pursue:

Main Quest: Stopping the war
	Next Step: Going and actually talking to the elves south of the party's current location.

Side Quest: Greiss's Big Adventure
	Next Step: Slaying the Sea Tyrant far to the West, found in the waters around Ordul.  Limited time to complete.

Side Quest: Valerie's Historical Trail
	Available Steps: Climbing the great mountain in the NW region.  Finding the Inverted Volcano (whatever that is) and exploring it.

Side Quest: Livin' on a Prayer
	Next Steps: Procure items for listening to prayers and use them.
