  104. Bio:
  105. Kaldach stands at about 5'11" with unkempt, shoulder length jet-black hair and a small patch on his chin, at about 25 years of age.
  106.
  107. A man of few words and fewer compulsions, Kaldach's father is part of a lineage of powerful magicians with strange, untapped power who served key roles in the upper echelons of Mordo's magical leadership. His family holds pride in this power to a fault, as they eternally try to seek more powerful individuals who can help bolster their family to greater heights. Unfortunately for him, he himself did not inherit any of the magical skill as foretold, which has led him to becoming an outright pariah to his family. He lived for some time out of the public eye at the behest of his parents, but that only lasted for so long. By his 13th birthday, he had the misfortune of being at the wrong place at the wrong time. Standing over the blood-soaked remains of what once was a happy family he had happened to come too close to, he was swiftly apprehended and sent away to a prison near the border of Mordo's tense neighbor, Izzarra. As to what happened to him behind those closed doors, only he knows.
  108.
  109. Twelve years passed, and with Izzarra conquered by Mordo after Lord Isaac's misplaced ambitions, a group of would-be rebels caught wind of a wayward hovel held by small undermanned dispatch of Mordon soldiers in preparation to receive an official in charge of enforcement and detainment of Izzarran dissenters. An elaborate plan was hatched as obtaining a bargaining chip to free dissenters would do wonders for their ranks. As gears turned and the team moved to execute their daring plan, they were only met with several mangled bodies and rivers of blood seeping through the floors of the building. Standing above the carnage was a heavily scarred, jet-haired man with a dulled, cracked, but wicked and warped sword loosely dangling from his right hand, drenched completely in the scarlet that dyed the floor.
  110.
  111. Kaldach had wandered the lands near Izzarra for some time after escaping his confinement, wielding that same sword in his travels. Some time was spent as a mercenary for local governors, others simply doing vigilante work in disposing of corrupt governors, it made little difference to him. With each job, however, he left stories about his cruel and brutal fighting style, accented by the hellish weapon he carried which seemed to twist, sever and break its victims with each blow. By the time the rebellion in Izzarra reached him, however, the blade barely held enough power to act even as a simple bludgeon. Seeing the value in having a ruthlessly focused fighter aiding them, and the potential knowledge he had about Mordo, the rebels spun their case to help the man achieve greatness assisting in the fight to restore the country's rightful rule.
  112.
  113. Kaldach accepted, but while he stared down the rebel captain, he only asked for coin- and the opportunity to wring the neck of a certain man. Ultimately, his cohorts in the rebellion saw him as a brute to only be brought when collateral damage was not a concern. However he provided a wealth of intelligence regarding the Mordon detention network which enabled prison break after prison break, many of which he attended himself. Kaldach stood by as plans now began to revolve around one more liberation, this time of a cadre of rebellion sympathizers, including a merchant caravan and their guard. Perhaps, with this last break, the rebellion can become more aggressive in their plots and bring him closer to his own target, or so Kaldach believed.
