Halberd

The Jagged Edge of Sanity
This long halberd has been crafted of Damascus steel and infused with the accursed paleblood of the Cainhurst clan; it was cooled in the twisted blood of it's maker, infusing it with a small fraction of taint. Beyond that it was forged to a masterful level, and the craftsmanship shows in every piece of it's making. It is a black steel pole with ripples of a dark blue tint running through it. The pole is extremely tough, and the blue ripples seem to glow faintly. The blade on the edge of this pole is a broad edged and serrated thing, that seems to have been artfully crafted to inflict maximum agony on those struck by it, and to cause bleeding as well. The halberd's taint manifests in a hunger for blood that is innate to the weapon; the traces of mana lingering in the steel activate when it draws blood, causing the edge to grow more keen.
