Suggestion for Asphodel Military

This creates united contingents of Cain-enhanced Magi being led by a one of Cain's Blessed. Such a fighting force is hard to contend with even by the disciplined legions of Achyon. However, there is a flaw here my Queen and you'll have to forgive me for doubting your power.

It leaves you, the Monarch, reliant upon your Vicounts for support in military matters. After all just one Vicount deciding they wished to hold back from full support in a time of war robs the Kingdom of not only themselves but the powerful Ghoul's under their command.

As such I have drafted a plan, to be enclosed within this missive, detailing the organization of a standing army. One that swears it allegiance directly to you and is led by ghoul's of worth who are directly tied to you.

The Landsknecht or Servants of the Land, poetic I know but it is one of my past-times. Right, the Landsknecht would be organized in army units similar to Barsburgian standard military practice. However, we have the advantage of Cain's blessings.

Now, to explain further what that means. Standard military structure is to divide the army into the Infantry, Calvary, and Artillery's. Of course sub-divisions such as the engineers and health corp would need to be established. Now, this structure is flexible because you can either have a single grand force made up of these branches in the case of a pitched battle or you can have several smaller forced built along the structure that can pursue multiple objectives. If they meet an oppossing force of traditional style? Well, they now have combined arms to deal with them.

Now, the Landsknecht would be lead by a Grand Marshal. A single leader to enforce your will effectively, I would advise Kasai for this- *A line is struck through Kasai's name and replaced with Kassarus.*-role as his experience as a mercenary make's him knowledgably on armed tactics and furthermore his loyalty to you is without quesiton.

Under the Grand Marshal one would have Reichsritter, Free Imperial Knights another bit of poetry. These would be the ghouls who enforce your will directly. Each one would act as a leader in the army itself. Much like a Captain within Achyon's Military or a Radiant within Osrona.

Those below that point... Well the titles don't matter. Sheriffs might give a middling officer a kindly title for the masses. Below that something not demeaning.

I would advise calling a demand of all first born children within Asphodel to be collected and trained for this purpose of service. Taking the first born will ensure that the parents have more children to work the fields and if need be come under conscription. However, it also means that we can know for a fact they are trained and ready to fight. Loyal to yourself first and the Kingdom.

To ensure that loyalty... Perhaps a alchemical mixture of Cain's Gift and Adrenaline potions? A mixture of addiction and fanaticism would serve well to create a powerful force.
