- Description: Matthews, the janitor at the assisted living home that Peter lived in, brutally beat Peter, breaking more than 12 of his ribs, as he demanded money to feed his crack cocaine habit. He attempted to strangle Peter, who fought back. Matthews then used a cell phone cable to finish him off, before fleeing with his MetroCard.
