She and her family hardly ever moved anywhere, but when they did to Seoul, she had to find some friends to play with as a little kid. Background 3 years off middle school: When Jungah noticed how they were beginning to drift, she did her best to involve them in different activities together, whether it be during school time or after. However, as time went on, she naturally began to talk less to the point where a greeting to each other wasn’t even necessary. She was one of the more determined ones since she liked to get what she wanted, but it was inevitable that she had to cave in. How did you feel when you lost contact with the girls?: Like the others, she was definitely sad and a bit upset that they couldn't continue to be close. However, unlike the others, she quickly got over it in a short period of time. Her school life was distracting enough and the other friends she made on her swimming team and the school council were like tape to her heart (although tape has to fall apart at some point).
Why do you think you guys lost contact?: Well, after getting different classes, even if you do your best to keep talking with them, things get in the way. You try to tell them what happened during your day but they won't understand because they weren't there. They weren't able to relate as much and as free time began to decrease, the time they spent talking to each other decreased.
Would you do it all over if you had the chance?: As sad as this answer may seem, no. If she had to do it over, that would mean not following the plans she had set out for academic purposes. Trying to keep contact would disturb the way she had worked so hard to keep her life together and that's not what she would ever want.
How do you think off them now?: They're like an old house, to be honest. Whenever you see them, you can nostalgic and put on a bitter smile as you think about the fun times you had. However, as you look at your current life, you know you have to move on. Jungah continues with whatever she is doing and makes sure her mind is occupied. They're just old friends you see in the hallway to her now, but there will always be some nagging voice in her head that screams at her to do something when she's alone.
