  2.
  3. As the intoxicating fragrance of bromeliads perfumes the air, you sense that Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons has returned to mortal perception.
  4.
  5. Upon a wave of wind bitter as the salted seas, the striking voice of Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons cries, "I sense you following Me, Mysrai."
  6.
  7. Streaks of flame discolour the sky, burning alien calligraphy into the heavens as the oddly-echoing voice of Mysrai declares, "Illlhh....Mhhhaaa...DZAAAAA!"
  8.
  9. (Veiled): You say, "Most Beloved??"
  10.
  11. You portal to the Aetherplex Chamber.
  12. The Aetherplex Chamber.
  13. The spherical chamber is formed from a hollow geode comprised of dozens of precious gemstones. Large jagged formations of rubies, sapphires, diamonds and emeralds line the walls and ceiling. The floor has been cut and polished to a brilliant shine, revealing concentric circles of brilliant colours. Upon close examination of the glassy floor, shimmering reflections briefly glide across its smooth surface of wondrous mansions and abodes. A current of electricity continuously runs throughout this mineral wonder, causing tiny sparks to erratically blossom up and down the crystalline formations. Hidden deep within the environment lies a mystic pathway. Shimmering with aetheric energy, a bright glowing portal floats here in midair. Hackles risen, a fierce timberwolf prowls about here. A screech owl is here, surveying the surroundings. There are 2 great brindle mastiffs here. A giant bat hangs here, wings folded about its body and one beady eye open. In the shape of an open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. Long, lean, and vibrating with barely-contained energy, a greyhound sniffs about here. You see a sign here instructing you to use the PORTAL command to enter the aetherplex system. There is an aetherways portal here.
  14. You see exits leading north (open door), south, out, and through a bright, glowing portal.
  15.
  16. Upon a wave of wind bitter as the salted seas, the striking voice of Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons cries, "How irritating. If you insist, then."
  17.
  18. Your wings flap excitedly behind you.
  19.
  20. You have emoted: Gurashi swiftly tucks their mandolin behind their back, preparing to draw forth their sword instead as they search the skies for signs of the Voice's origins.
  21.
  22. A fiery pillar of riotous colour descends upon the Free City of Gaudiguch, coming to rest atop the very tip of the Eternal Flame.
  23.
  24. You give a horrified gasp.
  25.
  26. Sullen, murky waves herald the arrival of the Lady of the Lagoons before the Eternal Flame, bitter with salt and brine.
  27.
  28. Before the Eternal Flame.
  29. Throughout the location, small dancing flames flicker and spark. The great Pyramid opens to a wide platform that extends outwards many feet, creating an expansive view over the entire city of Gaudiguch. Wide blocks of sandstone have been neatly joined, the cracks between them partially filled until little more than slight indentations remain. The passage leads about ten feet out, a wide path roughly six feet wide and with high walls on either side to act as guards from walking over the edge. A bulbous circular section forms at the end of the passage with a diameter nearing fifteen metres that also bears a three-foot wall around its circumference, the centre of which has been removed so that the Eternal Flame can float half below and half above the level of the floor. Its great effulgence casts an unobstructed white incandescence, flickering with prismatic hues, upon the entire shelf and pierces through the thick smoke and soot that hangs heavily here, combusting continuously in sudden spurts and creating writhing tongues of fire that dance in the air to form the Nexus. Thin, cursive script has been inked neatly on the stones nearest to the flame, written neatly in the tongue of the dracnari. To the south, the great structures of the city are clearly visible: the many pulsating emerald irises that form domes in the distance, the dense houses with minute alleyways between their boundaries, and the ruined remnants of three once grand pyramids. A bean bag rocking chair sits here, wooden rockers in danger of being swallowed whole by the rest of the squishy chair. A cheerfully plump wakabi rocking chair sits here, stuffed beak forced into a happy grin. A low, wine-red velvet couch stands here, its elegant frame fitted with plush, pillowy cushions. Altogether lacking legs, a mahogany banquet table lies flat on the floor here. A dragon-winged rocking chair sits here, wings unfurled in a display of grandeur. Stretched tautly, a white hammock swings with the breeze. A handful of pale ashes lies on the ground, slowly blowing away in the wind. An illuminated scroll rolls loose in the dust. Lost in a haze of drug-induced visions, Mesadari Rhiero lingers in close proximity to the Eternal Flame. The Eternal Flame burns here, a towering inferno of white flame that flashes with a chaotic spray of colour. In the shape of an open palm, a metallic sigil lies here. There are 2 great brindle mastiffs here. Deserted here, a scroll bears the sigil of an all-seeing eye that stares into space. An orb of blazing aether shifts and turns continuously as it hovers above a plain granite pedestal. Ornate carvings lining the edges of this massive construction, a sandstone banquet table stands here. There are 8 Red Hands of the Illuminati here. There are 8 jade-armoured Wyvern Riders here. A painting of Showdown at the Golden Pavilion is proudly exhibited on a nearby wall.
  30. You see exits leading north, east, and west.
  31.
  32. The melodious voice of Cheliyi resonates in your mind, "If are going, please be careful. Love yous."
  33.
  34. (OOC Clan): You say, "...where IS everybody."
  35. You see the following people here:
  36. Gurashi.
  37.
  38. Naralis enters from the east, emanating an aura of immense power.
  39.
  40. You think to yourself: *urgent and dazed, following the colors in the sky - is not territory? not where should be! but - where else to be?*.
  41.
  42. You flail about helplessly.
  43.
  44. These faithful of the Divine Order of Mysrai, the Resin Child are online:
  45. Mysrai, the Resin Child
  46. Gurashi, The Heart's Friend
  47. Sir Naralis Siarani, Illuminated Knight (Outer Circle)
  48. There are 2 mortals in your Circle (and below) on this Plane and 0 on other Planes.
  49.
  50. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "Beloved Naralis!"
  51.
  52. Naralis gives the world a smart salute.
  53.
  54. Raising her hand in greeting, a majestic golden falcon with dusky sunset wings says "Hello!"
  55.
  56. A majestic golden falcon with dusky sunset wings glances around worriedly.
  57.
  58. Sir Naralis Siarani, Illuminated Knight says, "Greetings, Beloved Gurashi."
  59.
  60. You have emoted: Gurashi looks up towards the top of the flame, shielding their eyes. "What is going on? Why is the Most Beloved shouting? Why is the Lady of Lagoons being followed?"
  61.
  62. Sir Naralis Siarani, Illuminated Knight says, "....Drachou."
  63.
  64. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  65.
  66. Naralis leaves to the west, emanating an aura of immense power.
  67.
  68. Reaching out with your mind, you grasp the harmonic song of the domothean energies as you seek Naralis.
  69.
  70. The lingering notes of harmonic purity swell to impossible heights as you step confidently through the song of reality itself.
  71. Before the tip of the Eternal Flame.
  72. Throughout the location, small dancing flames flicker and spark. There is a moderate breeze here. At the peak of the largest edifice of the city of Gaudiguch, the entire city, with all its glittering domes and winding streets, stretches out in all directions. The tip of the Eternal Flame, reaching upwards from the centre of the pyramid, vivaciously dances this way and that, acting with a will of its own and spouting forth small tongues of flame to softly crackle away. While the temperature here is markedly cooler than inside, the tip of the Flame still exudes a warm, comforting heat. A light, warm wind blows past, carrying with it a mix of fresh air and the scent of a bustling city. Upon the smooth floor are various phrases written in the dracnari language, written in artistic swirls and designs that are most concentrated in the area closest to the Flame and virtually absent by the short, neatly-constructed sandstone wall warding against falling. From this height, the people walking along the streets are mere specks, while in the far distance mountains rise upwards from the flat, shimmering desert sands. His great scaled visage lurking here within arm's reach, the Guardian Drachou resides here within the Eternal Flame. There are 4900 ember butterflies dancing about here. An all-encompassing heat flows from the shrine of blackened iron which stands here. Deserted here, a scroll bears the sigil of an all-seeing eye that stares into space. A statue of a luminescent butterfly stands here, memorialising her noble spirit. A majestic golden falcon with dusky sunset wings stands here regally. Perpetually in a dramatic pose, the inflated silken form of Avechna the Avenger towers here, ebony muscles gleaming. Serpentine ribbons of fire dance around the slender form of Mysrai, the Resin Child, leaving afterimages that spell out unknown words in an alien tongue. Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons floats here upon a swirl of blue water, Her wild red curls tangled like seaweeds. She wields a salt-kissed whip of lashing waters in Her left hand.
  73. You see a single exit leading in (open door).
  74.
  75. You fret over everything that might go wrong.
  76.
  77. LOOK MYSRAI
  78. Waves of heat dance around the slight form of this amber-skinned, flat-nosed adolescent of some unrecognisable species. Set deep within Her face are two sockets filled with voidstruck darkness, illuminated by a fantastic, spiralling galaxy of scarlet stars. Two broad-based spiralling horns of pale gold rise from Her temples, curving outwards to the width of a wagon wheel before turning back and facing the points towards Her long, fire-hued hair that hangs down Her back in cascading waves. Although slight curves have begun to fill out Her form, most of Her body has been stripped of the fat of a child to leave Her appearing nearly gaunt. Her sharp bones protrude at awkward angles as Her legs, arms, and wrists carry more joints than necessary. Across the rest of her skin wind slender serpents of scarlet flame traced with tattoos of ivory blossoms in matching patterns across Her bare arms; nearly lost to sight beneath the tongues of fire which lick away from Her inked flesh. Faint melodies can be heard within Her company, though it is sung in a strange alien tongue far beyond mortal comprehension.
  79. She is wearing:
  80. aubergine robes of contorted voidcopper filigree that are bunched around Her shoulders, baring Her tattooed arms
  81. a swirling crown of saffron hieroglyphs burning a hole in the aether between Her horns;
  82. a hooded coat of striking rainbow hues draped over Her shoulders to billow behind Her.
  83.
  84. LOOK LI-VARILI
  85. With smooth and supple skin the turquoise-green shade of lagoon waters, She is a radiant immortal and shines with a glaucous lustre that illumines the barely visible traces of faint, white scars that mark Her body. Framed by long-lashes, Her vast turquoise eyes churn with emotion, reflecting a haunting intensity that glints with an almost feral ferocity. Dewdrops sparkle on Her white eyelashes and the rest of Her sharp facial features, as well as Her wet red lips, their glistening hue the striking colour of a bromeliad's petals. Sapphirine scales adorn Her webbed hands and arms, while Her pink nails each resemble a spike of sharp coral. Her wild hair tumbles down Her back in a curtain of damp, unruly red curls resembling tangled fronds of seaweed, kelp and cattail reeds.
  86. She is wearing:
  87. a dewy half mask scaled in rippling turquoise shrouding Her face from view
  88. sanguine robes of woven fireweed blossoms that flutter behind Her in a glorious train
  89. a striking red bromeliad tucked behind Her ear
  90. an eye of the lagoon necklace covetously wound about Her throat.
  91.
  92. LOOK NARALIS
  93. He is a burly tae'dae demigod. He is a burly tae'dae demigod and an intimidating sight to behold. He stands at nearly eleven and a half feet with a rigid posture, every movement tense with an almost feral aggression. His height is matched only by his bulk, every muscle straining against the flesh. His athleticism is obvious at a glance, every perfectly defined muscle amplified by the thick coat of off-white fur that covers him. Eyes of vibrant scarlet peer forth from his features like twin pyres, acting as the only spot of colour amidst his snowy fur and blackened stripes. A long, jagged scar stretches across his upper body from his left shoulder to his right hip, darkened with age. A second visible scar slashes across his right eye, from brow to just below his upper cheek line. Faint traces of alien song can be heard around him, sung in lilting tones and ululations that defy mortal capability.
  94. He is wearing:
  95. a smouldering wreath of meteorite and obsidian shards
  96. a gleaming fullplate of solid gold
  97. an embroidered mantle of flickering hope
  98. Wings of Wonder
  99. a rough coral ring
  100. mechanical goggles
  101. a full body Avechna the Avenger costume
  102. an intricate silver and ruby necklace
  103. the Crown of the Gutter
  104. a thin amethyst band
  105. a heart-shaped teddy bear nose
  106. a thin amethyst band
  107. a tribal knotwork-and-sapphire ring
  108. a wooden ring
  109. a ring of perverse emanations
  110. a thin sapphire band
  111. a moonlight diamond ring of lacy wind wisps
  112. a star-etched emerald ring
  113. a plush emerald tentacle
  114. a conical, nexus headdress.
  115.
  116. LOOK ME
  117. They are a feathered trill kindly demigod changeling. Downy plumes of vibrant orange cascade in a tumble around their head, the cluster of feathers stopping just short of their shoulders and moving at the slightest breeze. A cluster of snow-white feathers grow near their right temple. A natural mask of downy black feathers have sprouted around their eyes, covering the upper portion of their face and fading in with the colorful orange feathers at the hairline and temples. A moderately-sized, crescent-shaped scar mars their right cheek, pink where it would otherwise be black. A hint of discolored flesh can be seen at the center of their sternum, mostly obscured by their clothing. Two tufts of feathers gather where their ears would normally be, adorned by long, curling feathers that react to their mood. Their eyes are wide and inquisitive, a stunning gray that looks almost blue against the bright orange and striking black feathers. They stand just shy of six foot even, with a thin, willowy build, their skin sandy and smooth. Hanging half-limp behind them are a pair of great apricot-colored wings, the covert feathers nearest to their back the same ebony-violet as the feathers that cover their brow and cheekbones. Their wings are sleek and shiny, evidence of recent grooming efforts. A shifting pearlescence graces their skin as they walk with the truefavour of Carakhan, Sculptor of Waves.
  118. They are wearing:
  119. a starry wreath of celestial light set atop their head like a halo
  120. a circlet of crystal thorns resting loosely atop their head
  121. a vivid red-orange poppy tucked lovingly behind their left ear
  122. the Mantle of Starlight which flows dreamily about their shoulders and back
  123. a sleeveless black tunic which clings to their upper body flatteringly
  124. mercurial Mysraian prayer beads pulled taut against their right wrist
  125. a Glomdoring friendship bracelet which jingles softly on their left wrist
  126. minty citrus incense beads pulled taut against their right wrist
  127. a shifting, living poppy of copper petals worn delicately upon their left wrist
  128. a driftwood ring of sea breezes fitted tightly to their left middle finger
  129. simple white linen trousers which swish around their legs freely
  130. Refined Boots of the Paladin, worn and weathered from use
  131.
  132. (Veiled): Naralis says, "Greetings, my Liege."
  133.
  134. Her hand idly resting upon Her neck as She glares at the heat, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "Welcome, am I? This unbearable dry heat is certainly anything but."
  135.
  136. Riotous waves of song erupt in your ear as the Resin Child briefly grants Her Beloved a glimpse of Her adoration.
  137.
  138. You have emoted: Gurashi looks cautiously about the room, their eyes wide. They bow before both Divine but quickly rise again, wide-eyed.
  139.
  140. Mysrai's head tilts to the side, and she speaks in a rioting chorus of impossible ululations, turning Her head to the side.
  141.
  142. Now staring at the ground at a nerve-twitching angle, Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  143.
  144. A sense of uneasiness permeates the area as Calioliahali patrols in from the in with rigid authority.
  145.
  146. Her shoulders falling in a light shrug, Li-varili tosses Her red hair, sending droplets of moisture and sea spray about Herself. "Shade would preferable, yes," She murmurs. "Where beneath the earth would you have Us go?"
  147.
  148. You have emoted: Gurashi swallows hard, one hand rising to their chest. "Most Beloved," They whisper to the alien song, then in a high faint voice they offer to Li-varili, "Good evening, Lady of Lagoons."
  149.
  150. You blink.
  151.
  152. You see the following people here:
  153. Qillilitli, Calioliahali, Mysrai, Li-varili, Naralis, Gurashi.
  154.
  155. Turning Her body at awkward angles to gesture to the southeast of Gaudiguch with a long, many-digited finger, Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  156.
  157. You think to yourself: *envisioning the dry, hot city of Gaudiguch... no, know there are gardens, but the layout, unfamiliar, bustling*.
  158.
  159. Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  160.
  161. Each star blinks out of the sky as a conflagration of lava, rock and ash paints the night's canopy in a furious inferno of volcanic resplendence.
  162.
  163. Conflagrating into a raging pyre, the form of Mysrai peels away to the accompaniment of riotous verses of alien song that fades upon the wind.
  164.
  165. Tilting Her head, eyes flashing with dark amusement, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "A place of worship? How fitting."
  166.
  167. (Veiled): You say, "Most Beloved, do you want us to come withs?"
  168.
  169. Flipping Her striking red hair, Li-varili turns and dives away beneath a seaweed laden tide.
  170.
  171. (Veiled): You say, "Ahm, You! Sorry, hearts is racings!"
  172.
  173. These faithful of the Divine Order of Mysrai, the Resin Child are online:
  174. Mysrai, the Resin Child
  175. Gurashi, The Heart's Friend
  176. Revelrous Liefenn Myeras (Outer Circle)
  177. Sir Naralis Siarani, Illuminated Knight (Outer Circle)
  178.
  179. Your wings flap excitedly behind you.
  180.
  181. Assent marches your legs to motion like an army's paeon decrying forward.
  182.
  183. Liefenn arrives from the in.
  184. Yire arrives from the in.
  185.
  186. Cheliyi enters from the in, a thin sheen of water rippling outward from every step.
  187.
  188. Yire blinks.
  189.
  190. <-- me running around several rooms realizing I have no idea how Gaudiguch's layout is :')
  191.
  192. Naralis nods his head emphatically.
  193.
  194. In an airy, melodic voice, you ask, "Where are the gardens in the southeast section of the City, please?"
  195.
  196. (Veiled): Liefenn says, "What is.. happening?"
  197.
  198. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "That is where They have both gone, yes."
  199.
  200. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "...I think."
  201.
  202. Liefenn begins to follow you.
  203.
  204. Cheliyi gives you a friendly squeeze.
  205.
  206. Yire, Pilgrim of Bodhi says, "The glass pyramid."
  207.
  208. Yire leaves to the in.
  209.
  210. (Veiled): You say, "The Most Beloved and Lady of Lagoons are meeting it seems."
  211.
  212. Like a gentle ripple in a crystalline pool, Slakened Cheliyi, Novitiate of Purity says to you, "Be safes."
  213.
  214. Your eyes raise to the heavens as a look of hope flashes across your face.
  215.
  216. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "But where IS that."
  217.
  218. Cheliyi leans close to you and gently lays a kiss upon your forehead. <-- HECKITY I MISSED THIS IN MY PANIC
  219.
  220. Liefenn blinks.
  221.
  222. (Veiled): Naralis says, "Aye."
  223.
  224. <-- NYOOM
  225.
  226. A shrine-strewn, cavernous garden.
  227. It is warm and quite pleasant. The cavern ceiling above is dotted with numerous openings in this section of the pyramid, where an entire section of walling has been placed down to mute whatever noise may escape its inners. Long, spiralling walkways wind through gardens lined with small shrubs and flowering cactuses carefully cultivated to survive the desert climate while still providing a pleasant look to the eye. Fountains made of marble spit water in forceful arches over certain paths, creating alternate pathways cradled in a fine spray of mist for those seeking a reprieve from the heat. Five gazebos are placed an equal distance from each other, the white marble they are constructed of graffitied with hand-painted prayers to the various Divine. Small offerings of origami, food parcels, and even small daggers have been left in front of the appropriate, bare altars as citizens of Gaudiguch pay their respects to their Pantheon. Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons floats here upon a swirl of blue water, Her wild red curls tangled like seaweeds. She wields a salt-kissed whip of lashing waters in Her left hand. Serpentine ribbons of fire dance around the slender form of Mysrai, the Resin Child, leaving afterimages that spell out unknown words in an alien tongue.
  228. You see exits leading east, southeast, and south.
  229.
  230. You quickly bend at the waist to offer a polite half-bow.
  231.
  232. (Veiled): Liefenn says, "I felt an.. urging of some sort."
  233.
  234. Liefenn curtseys gracefully.
  235.
  236. (Shadowlight): You say, "I have found Thems."
  237.
  238. You sense Calioliahali pulling on the strands of aether surrounding you.
  239.
  240. (Veiled): You say, "I am here, at the gardens. They are, as well, the Most Beloved."
  241.
  242. (Veiled): You say, "And She, yes, the Lady of Lagoons..."
  243.
  244. LOOK LIEFENN
  245. Somewhat short in height, this aspiring performer is big in presence in a way that defies the fact that she is an ordinary human. With pleasantly padded curves and a youthful glow, she all but vibrates with barely contained energy. Her curly, somewhat unruly golden hair has grown out to her shoulderblades, with a portion caught into a high bun on each side of her head. The wheat gold of her skin nearly matches her hair, liberally speckled over cheeks and shoulders with dark amber freckles. In bright contrast to the gilded hues, her thick-lashed eyes are the vivid blue of the desert sky, mischievous and full of laughter in repose. Her heart-shaped face is almost cherubic with a pointed chin, high cheekbones padded by baby fat, and a pert nose- an impression at odds with the impishness of the grin nearly always present on her rosebud lips. She moves with a dancer's grace, seemingly poised continually on the brink of motion even when standing still. Faint traces of alien song can be heard around her, sung in lilting tones and ululations that defy mortal capability.
  246. Her hair is a sunny blonde in colour, possessed of a loose, natural curl that grants it both beauty and body. Her silken tresses cascade down her back, bouncing lightly at the slightest provocation.
  247. She is wearing:
  248. an off-shoulder, honey-gold cotton dress
  249. dance sandals of celadon, cerulean and gold.
  250.
  251. Yire blinks.
  252.
  253. Calioliahali begins to follow you.
  254.
  255. You have emoted: Gurashi furrows their brow as they look between both Divine once more, rising from their bow. "Sorry, big city."
  256.
  257. Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  258.
  259. You look at Mysrai hopefully.
  260.
  261. You see the following people here:
  262. Li-varili, Qillilitli, Calioliahali, Mysrai, Yire, Liefenn, Gurashi.
  263.
  264. Exhaling deeply, Her words laced with respect as much as resentment, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "You have done your best to corner Me, even as I attempt to evade all My other cousins' games of hide and seek. Now that you have succeeded, I wonder at what you will do with My audience."
  265.
  266. You blink.
  267.
  268. Mysrai tilts Her head, amused cries in alien verse emitting from the flames that spring up around Her. She speaks again in an unknowable, eldritch tongue.
  269.
  270. Li-varili stretches at Mysrai's words, contemplating them as She examines a coral-tipped finger. "Freedom and open air," She repeats. "Call Me greedy, but I do not think there can ever be enough of either."
  271.
  272. You have emoted: Gurashi's wings fold and tuck closely about themselves as they settle into silence, their plumage puffed up anxiously.
  273.
  274. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  275.
  276. Liefenn tucks her hands behind her back, eyes wide as she stands beside you.
  277.
  278. Mysrai's laugh is a harsh screech that is akin to fingers upon chalkboard, the scraping of glass against itself. It is, thankfully, brief and Her gaze is solemn once more as She considers Li-varili.
  279.
  280. You have emoted: Gurashi gingerly lifts a hand and pats Liefenn's shoulder just twice before dropping it back to their front, hands nervously lacing together as they patiently observe.
  281.
  282. Movement catches your eye as the bulbs of a nearby flower fall open, revealing its delicate colours and petals to the evening sky.
  283.
  284. Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  285.
  286. You think to yourself: *hopeful, anxiously watching - a lack of understanding, but, She is goodly and kind, the Resin Child - and the Lady of Lagoons could use some kindnesses...*.
  287.
  288. Yire, Pilgrim of Bodhi whispers, "Can someone translate for me. Or is that some sort of unknown language-."
  289.
  290. Liefenn elbows Yire lightly and shushes softly.
  291.
  292. You have emoted: Gurashi glances towards Yire, holding up two fingers before glancing at the Divine once again, blushing brightly.
  293.
  294. Smirking, amusement rippling over Her in waves, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "What aid I would require of you is long past due, by thousands of years. Though there is one question I would ask of the Resin Child, the Elder Mysrai who served upon the Triumvirate of the Traitors."
  295.
  296. Your melodic voice sings into Tridemon Regalis, Keeper of Pure Waters's mind, "*an anxious thrum of saffron*."
  297.
  298. The walls of the pyramid sputter and lose the last of their brilliance for just a few moments before the sun's rays begin to refract from the glasswork capstone, lighting your surroundings once more.
  299.
  300. Mysrai's head violently snaps backwards, spinning around counterclockwise before reverting upright in an attentive stare with too-wide eyes towards Li-varili.
  301.
  302. You have emoted: Gurashi furrows their brow, setting their jaw and canting their head to the side, feathery ears twitching. They watch Mysrai's reaction and their feathery ears suddenly flatten atop their head.
  303.
  304. (Shadowlight): Faragan says, "Found them wht?"
  305.
  306. You freeze suddenly as you catch sight of a small bed of young scorpions passing by, following the larger through nearby greenery.
  307.
  308. A look of confusion mixed with clear worry washes over Yire.
  309.
  310. Lithely stepping towards Mysrai, Li-varili is all charm and dripping beauty as She smiles, though Hers is an expression completely devoid of warmth. "What punishment did you give the betrayer, for what She did to Me? I have long wondered."
  311.
  312. (Shadowlight): You say, "Is a ... meetings, in Gaudiguchs. Between the Most Beloved and the ...Lady of the Lagoons... ..."
  313.
  314. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  315.
  316. (Shadowlight): Faragan (from the Aetherways) says, "I see."
  317.
  318. Liefenn watches intently, eyes flickering between the two Divines. She bounces lightly and unconsciously atop the balls of her toes as she listens.
  319.
  320. You think to yourself: *a pained ache, a swell of confusing colors - how could They have known what the Enchantress did to She...? Who knew beyond those who trapped Her?*.
  321.
  322. Awkwardly tracking the Goddess' progress towards Her with the cracking of bones settling into place, Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  323.
  324. You think to yourself: *a swell of saffron colors, watching Her movement, soothing* Dearest Most Beloved...
  325.
  326. Her fingers lightly touching the necklace upon Her throat, Li-varili murmurs approvingly, "I see. She is collared and bound, then, left only at a shred of Her previous power." Then the Goddess's face twists into a scowl. "Though Her current comfort with Her state is less than gratifying."
  327.
  328. Bizirik's head begins to droop. It opens its great maw and curls back its lips to allow its forked tongue to unfurl as it yawns before snapping its mouth shut. <-- omg rude
  329.
  330. Sighing petulantly, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "It is better than nothing, I suppose."
  331.
  332. You have emoted: Gurashi quirks their mouth to the side, wings flapping once as they look over first Liefenn and Yire, then Calioliahali and Qillilitli, then back to both Divine, puffing their cheeks and looking on worriedly.
  333.
  334. Revelrous Liefenn Myeras thinks to herself: ... what ARE the trills doing here, anyway? Aren't they city enemies?
  335.
  336. With an approving chorus of echoing voices accompanying Her, Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  337.
  338. Calioliahali gazes back at you for a quiet moment before returning her attention to the Divine discussion.
  339.
  340. You have emoted: Gurashi glances up in response to something unseen, their right wing flapping and ever-so-gently patting against the back of Liefenn's head before retracting again, tucking in comfortably.
  341.
  342. You look at Calioliahali hopefully.
  343.
  344. Gesturing behind Her towards the gathered mortals, Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  345.
  346. Caressing your ear, the voice of Naralis whispers, "May I teleport to you?"
  347.
  348. A wry smile upon Her lips, Li-varili glances at the scars upon Her arms before sighing, "Not as much good sense as you might think. I did suspect Her power had dwindled, however, even in that one moment between Us. Her words were not so sweet as I remembered."
  349.
  350. (Veiled): You say, "Do not know of the Skydrifter's quarrels with Gaudiguchs, but they are dearly friends of mine. And am happy they are here at the Most Beloved's side with us."
  351.
  352. You tilt your head curiously.
  353.
  354. Your melodic voice sings into Sir Naralis Siarani, Illuminated Knight's mind, "Of course."
  355.
  356. You sense Naralis pulling on the strands of aether surrounding you.
  357.
  358. Among the sparkling motes of light, a translucent figure appears in the air and then quickly solidifies as Naralis comes into view.
  359.
  360. Revelrous Liefenn Myeras thinks to herself: ..everyone reads thoughts but me. Must hide thoughts.
  361.
  362. You blush furiously.
  363.
  364. (Veiled): Naralis says, "I am glad I have a cumulative name I call young ones whose names I did not want to mispronounce."
  365.
  366. (Veiled): Naralis says, "Little one."
  367.
  368. At the latest statement, Her expression turns cool as She states flatly, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "Yes, I have met many of Her little toys. They grovel before Her like worms, eager to supplant Her every whim. That the Enchantress feasts on their offerings is unsurprising."
  369.
  370. Barely audible whispers permeate the air as Eritheyl enters from the southeast, a cloud of translucent figures trailing after.
  371.
  372. Your melodic voice sings into Revelrous Liefenn Myeras's mind, "*an apologetic thrum and a gentle negation, then an approximation* E-er, c-could ... feel you, looking at thems and w-wondering! I did not mean to intrude! It was rude. I am sorry, Beloved. Am learning how to control it."
  373.
  374. With a flourish of his arm, Eritheyl bows deeply.
  375.
  376. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  377.
  378. Mysrai's form is trailed with licks of multicoloured flame as She trails slowly closer to Li-varili.
  379.
  380. Her mouth remaining motionless as Her voice is sung in the hymns about Her, Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  381.
  382. You have emoted: Gurashi watches the Two speak to One Another, plumage rippling expectantly as Mysrai approaches the Lady of the Lagoons.
  383.
  384. Kihr enters from the southeast, emanating an aura of immense power.
  385.
  386. Kihr inclines his head politely to those around him.
  387.
  388. You think to yourself: *a tiny sigh, then a deeper one, hoping She finds some solace, is this solace? comfort? are these Words good? they SOUND pretty*.
  389.
  390. Yire steps back as if readying himself for the worst.
  391.
  392. Your wings flap excitedly behind you.
  393.
  394. You see a flurry of colourful pollen whip up amid grains of sand as a warm breeze passes through.
  395.
  396. Li-varili reflexively flinches as She faces Mysrai with wariness and caution. There is not trust in the gaze, but rather a sense of familiarity -- one that the Elder's voice reiterates as Li-varili's shoulders relax once more. "I have every reason for it," She whispers bitterly. "I would expect you to know that better than most."
  397.
  398. A discordant rumble echoes in place of the joyous hymns for a moment, the foundation of the desert beneath your feet trembling as Mysrai slowly turns Her stare towards Her fellow Goddess.
  399.
  400. You think to yourself: *a bloom of color, a longing to understand the half of the conversation lost to what cannot be understand to mortal ears - but what reason does the Lady of Lagoons have to trust Mortals? is for Thems to know - a place of safety*.
  401.
  402. Her eyes wider than they were previously, swirling with bleached stars that spin chaotically, Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  403.
  404. You have emoted: Gurashi shivers, looking down towards their feet, then back up at the Divine, blinking back the thin film of tears that has suddenly settled over their vision.
  405.
  406. Yire, Pilgrim of Bodhi thinks to himself: This can't be good. Can it?
  407.
  408. Kihr Ryseni, the Ignited Mind thinks to himself: How interesting.
  409.
  410. With a mocking laugh, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "Even you bring falsehoods and half-truths to Me? You, whom I fought beside in the age of chaos?"
  411.
  412. You think to yourself: *quiet, quiet and soothing, as gentle and welcoming as a hand on the cheek: in Love, go in Love...*.
  413.
  414. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  415.
  416. A twinge of resentment in Her voice, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "Had We won that war so long ago, you and I, then perhaps We would not have been so bound to the follies of Meridian, Fain and the other Firsts."
  417.
  418. Mysrai's hand extends, pointing a finger with dread intent towards Li-varili, uttering a hollow, mourning dirge escape Her throat in a vile, ululating note that wavers your stomach and threatens to gag you.
  419.
  420. Liefenn covers her mouth her her hands, looking a touch ill, eyes even wider.
  421.
  422. Calfuray arrives, following Battle-Tailor Qistrel Strongleaf.
  423.
  424. You have emoted: Gurashi's frown deepens, then their expression twists into a miserable grimace, ears flat again.
  425.
  426. Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  427.
  428. Protective vines burst and flower around Li-varili as they drip with saltwater, forming a barrier that blossoms with spiky bromeliad flowers. "Did I say She was gone?" the Goddess says, Her voice as cloying and sweet as the scent of the flora around Her. "Perhaps it is you assumes what I think."
  429.
  430. The blossoms of nearby flowers sway gently, their bulbs closed against the harsh desert light.
  431.
  432. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  433.
  434. You think to yourself: ...She?
  435.
  436. Brave Herald Calfuray, of House Strongleaf thinks to herself: Sooo preeeeettttyyyyyy.
  437.
  438. Her anger escaping the orifices of Her face in hissing gouts of steam-kissed sunspots, Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  439.
  440. A rising note of anger underscoring Her otherwise sweet words, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "And now you threaten Me, for a perceived threat? How disappointing. I had thought We might be allies once more."
  441.
  442. You think to yourself: *a growing sense of caution - no, no, a misunderstanding*.
  443.
  444. Your wings flap excitedly behind you.
  445.
  446. The aether about Mysrai churns with fiery passion, burning in spinning stars as She offers escape to a deep-rattling sigh. The song about Her roars in a thousand tones and emotions at once, discordant and painful before unifying once more into a bittersweet shanty.
  447.
  448. You shiver violently.
  449.
  450. You think to yourself: *... in Love... *.
  451.
  452. (Veiled): Shulamit says, "Good afternoon, Beloved!"
  453.
  454. The vines surrounding Li-varili writhe and squirm at the shanty's music, the flowers furling shut as if angered by its music.
  455.
  456. With veiled eyes and shrouded thoughts, Liefenn's gaze is solely for Mysrai now.
  457.
  458. (Veiled): You say, "Beloved Beacon - we are in Gaudiguchs."
  459.
  460. (Veiled): Shulamit says, "Oh? Sounds fun! Warmer than Celest yes yes?"
  461.
  462. (Veiled): You say, "The Lady of Lagoons is here - be cautious, if come - but She is, as well - the Most Beloved. And other Beloved - we are here."
  463.
  464. (Veiled): Naralis says, "Hare Mysrai, Beloved Shulamit."
  465.
  466. Her words low, cold and biting, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "And the others call Me fickle."
  467.
  468. (Veiled): Shulamit says, "Come...where?"
  469.
  470. (Veiled): Shulamit says, "Oooh hi hi Naralis!"
  471.
  472. (Veiled): Naralis says, "Teleport to me or Gurashi."
  473.
  474. (Veiled): Shulamit says, "Okily dokily."
  475.
  476. You sense Shulamit pulling on the strands of aether surrounding you.
  477.
  478. Shulamit exists abruptly in this location, surrounded by dissolving, rainbow-hued butterflies.
  479.
  480. Shulamit curtseys gracefully.
  481.
  482. Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon thinks to herself: Oh, the library.
  483.
  484. Shulamit raises her hand in greeting to a majestic golden falcon with dusky sunset wings and says "Hi!"
  485.
  486. You have emoted: Gurashi too looks towards Mysrai, their hands squeezing together over their heart as they watch the Lady of Lagoons further shut Herself away behind vines and flowers.
  487.
  488. Calfuray leaves, following Battle-Tailor Qistrel Strongleaf.
  489.
  490. Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  491.
  492. Shulamit ponders Mysrai thoughtfully, looking Her up and down.
  493.
  494. Shulamit hums a happy tune, oblivious to most things around her.
  495.
  496. You think to yourself: *soft little blooming shades of saffron and pink, repeating over and over again: go in Love, go in Love, in Love--*.
  497.
  498. Her lips curling into a sneer, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "Love and loss? Are those My choices, then? What a miserable set of options you give Me, for one is impossible and the other I have known too intimately to choose it again."
  499.
  500. Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon thinks to herself: Hum de uhm, totally not weird and confusing! And uncomfortable! Going just be a cheerful thingy.
  501.
  502. You have emoted: Gurashi reaches out, gently taking Shulamit by the elbow and pulling her closer.
  503.
  504. Shulamit takes a deep breath as the crystal surface of her face softens and shifts in colour, a muted glow appearing within.
  505.
  506. You give Shulamit a friendly squeeze.
  507.
  508. You flap your wings excitedly at Shulamit, gusting the air about her.
  509.
  510. Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon thinks to herself: Oh a feathery Gurashi.
  511.
  512. You think to yourself: *a ripple of brighter color, a protective thrum before they turn back to the conversation at hand, concern for Either Divine*.
  513.
  514. Ignoring the strange levity around her, Liefenn focuses carefully on the tension between the two Divines.
  515.
  516. Gesturing with a force that sends the colours of the flowers in this garden awash in chaotic hues, Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  517.
  518. Hissing, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "You know nothing of what matters to Me."
  519.
  520. You look at Li-varili, expression filled with concern as you frown.
  521.
  522. Shaking Her head in a sorrowful gesture, Mysrai, the Resin Child says something unintelligible in an unfathomable eldritch tongue.
  523.
  524. Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon thinks to herself: I'd want to argue with Pesukaru like, somewhere people couldn't get, but maybe Divines want witnesses.
  525.
  526. Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon thinks to herself: In case of...something? Huh.
  527.
  528. You think to yourself: *a miserable thrum, that pain that comes from misunderstanding and mistrust, years of pain - no, must try - will not give up*.
  529.
  530. The vines now dissipating beneath a burst of water, Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons says, "Take your false pity and your lies and keep them. I have no use for either."
  531.
  532. Flipping Her striking red hair, Li-varili turns and dives away beneath a seaweed laden tide.
  533.
  534. Yire blinks.
  535.
  536. Moody, turbulent waters darken the firmament with murky waves as Li-varili, Lady of the Lagoons vanishes from perception.
  537.
  538. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  539.
  540. In an airy, melodic voice, you say, "False pity..."
  541.
  542. Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon thinks to herself: What if I only have empathy? Not false pity?
  543.
  544. Shulamit scratches her head in confusion, the sound reminiscent of tinkling wind chimes.
  545.
  546. You see the following people here:
  547. Kihr, Calioliahali, Mysrai, Qillilitli, Eritheyl, Naralis, Liefenn, Shulamit, Yire, Gurashi.
  548.
  549. You have emoted: Gurashi inhales deeply, then immediately looks up towards the Resin Child. "Most Beloved," They warble out hopefully.
  550.
  551. A young dracnari boy passes through, holding a large can to his chest and carefully watering the nearby plants, his tongue poking out of the corner of his mouth as he focuses on the task.
  552.
  553. Mysrai's hand extends in a grasping motion towards the departing Goddess, but too soon is She gone. The Goddess' bones awkwardly snap and creak back into place as She withdraws it, pressing Her lips tightly together.
  554.
  555. You look at Mysrai hopefully.
  556.
  557. You tilt your head, gaze softening as you frown.
  558.
  559. Kihr peers about himself unscrupulously.
  560.
  561. The walls of the pyramid spring to life with a warm, heady glow as hundreds of bottles containing rolled parchment begin to shine with a gentle radiance magnified into brilliance by the glass surrounding you.
  562.
  563. The song about Mysrai slowly returns to its joyous hymn once more as She turns to face the gathered mortals, eyes wide as She stares down at you.
  564.
  565. Glowing a mix between pink and blue, Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon says to Mysrai, "I'm sorry! I'm not sure for what, but I am! Do You need...uhm..."
  566.
  567. Shulamit trails off, trying to think what a Divine could possibly want after an argument.
  568.
  569. Quietly, you say, "It is O-K ... we love You."
  570.
  571. Slowly, Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon says, "A...cake?"
  572.
  573. You flap your wings excitedly at Mysrai, gusting the air about Her.
  574.
  575. You look at Mysrai hopefully.
  576.
  577. Puffing up, you ask, "Are You O-K?"
  578.
  579. Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon thinks to herself: All my cakes decayed, but I have the ability to make MORE cakes.
  580.
  581. "Uhh..." stalls Shulamit.
  582.
  583. Without so much as looking, you give a slice of layered rainbow cake with star-shaped sprinkles to Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon.
  584.
  585. Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon thinks to herself: Were we....unsafe?
  586.
  587. Glowing in tune with her words, Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon says, "We were...not safe? We seem safe."
  588.
  589. Kihr ponders the situation.
  590.
  591. Mysrai turns and slowly reaches out to cup Shulamit's cheek, nodding in agreement at that point. She turns Her gaze back towards the city, and Her voice awkwardly seizes as She repeats, "Safe."
  592.
  593. You have emoted: Gurashi quirks their mouth to the side, hand still resting on the plate housing the cake slice they have passed over to the Beloved Beacon and staring up hopefully at Mysrai.
  594.
  595. Liefenn seems quietly astonished about something, brows furrowed as she shakes her head slowly, but watches Mysrai silently.
  596.
  597. You give Shulamit a friendly squeeze.
  598.
  599. Naralis's eyes fade to black, swirling into a vortex of voidstruck pitch. Pinpricks of light sparkle within them as he stares forward in utter rapture.
  600.
  601. Shulamit takes a deep breath as the crystal surface of her face softens and shifts in colour, a muted glow appearing within.
  602.
  603. You think to yourself: *a little sigh*.
  604.
  605. Cheerfully, Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon says to Mysrai, "We'll try and keep You safe as well, yes yes!"
  606.
  607. Mysrai's eyes fade to black, swirling into a vortex of voidstruck pitch. Pinpricks of light sparkle within them as She stares forward in utter rapture.
  608.
  609. Conflagrating into a raging pyre, the form of Mysrai peels away to the accompaniment of riotous verses of alien song that fades upon the wind.
  610.
  611. Yire blinks.
  612.
  613. Shulamit rubs her chin thoughtfully, raises her eyebrow and says, "I see..."
  614.
  615. Revelrous Liefenn Myeras thinks to herself: Oh.
  616.
  617. Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon thinks to herself: I do not see.
  618.
  619. Awkwardly, Caliph Eritheyl Ryseni, the Dissident says, "Well. That was just ever so pleasant, mmh."
  620.
  621. Kihr Ryseni, the Ignited Mind says, "Indeed."
  622.
  623. You have emoted: Gurashi's wings slowly sag as both Divine depart, blinking very slowly.
  624.
  625. Naralis gives the world a smart salute.
  626.
  627. Yire, Pilgrim of Bodhi says, "At least the city is fine."
  628.
  629. Naralis spreads his arms wide, and the air between his hands begins to warp and twist, dancing with brilliant multicoloured light as he bores a hole through the fabric of the planes.
  630.
  631. Glowing in tune with her words, Multifaceted Designer Shulamit Lunarose, Mysrai's Beacon says to Eritheyl, "Thingies didn't explode YET so...that's good. I think."
  632.
  633. Shulamit nods her head sagely.
  634.
  635. Eritheyl nods solemnly to Shulamit.
  636.
  637. Yire nods his head vigorously, causing his ears to flap about.
  638.
  639. You think to yourself: *suddenly - dazed and tired*.
  640.
  641. LOOK SHULAMIT
  642. She is a crystalline lucidian iridescent demigoddess and is tinted a soft, muted blue colour that appears to be only skin deep. Faint whorls and eddies can be seen within the blue hue, making it appear to have been painted on with precise strokes of a master hand. Criss-crossing lines of gold spiderweb across her body, filling in ancient cracks and scars. The artwork is apparent within the golden workings, having been placed with another's hands, as the gold continues on her back and in places far too difficult to reach alone. The gold glows faintly, hinting at inner power and warmth. Tarnished divine script runs along her throat, spelling out ancient and forgotten hymns to the Shofet. Thin trickles of soporific smoke trail from the sides of her mouth when she speaks, the resinous smoke seen coiled in her lungs through her faintly translucent skin. Her skin is smooth of the crystal spikes normally seen on lucidians, head smooth and rounded, golden lines gleaming magnificently. Her eyes are an ebon black colour, faint pin pricks of light seen deep within as though there are distant stars and galaxies within. A chaos butterfly is resting on her shoulder. Tattooed on her fingers is an illustration of minuscule divine lettering. Faint traces of alien song can be heard around her, sung in lilting tones and ululations that defy mortal capability.
  643. Spilling from the crown of her head to her shoulders is a finespun waterfall of sparkling crystal, each thread perfectly clear and colourless. As she moves, the gentle peal of pellucid chimes sounds in her wake, soft and soothing.
  644. She is wearing:
  645. a powerplex jewel upon her brow
  646. a resin-streaked mark of the Paragon of Paradigms over her heart
  647. mercurial Mysraian prayer beads wrapped around her right arm and hand
  648. a rose-entangled lunar band on the third finger of her left hand
  649. a vibrant collar of spun gold and prismatic crystal proudly around her throat
  650. a shifting, living poppy of beige petals pinned to her cloche hat
  651. a grandiose gown of sugar and spice
  652. a bright pink and yellow cloche hat
  653. a cupcake coin pouch worn upon her left hip
