  17. Oh, the things that could be said about this era.
  18.
  19. My presence didn't really throw anything off the rails overmuch, if only because every time I attempted to do anything that would have changed things notably, things would spiral out of control and drag me into a pitched battle. And when I say pitched battle... I mean it. And almost inevitably this put me on the wrong end of the sword with one or more of the knights of the Round Table - they deserved every bit of their legend, and frankly... if I hadn't effectively ended up with effectively having extra lives as a result of everything I'd been doing in Greece, jolly old England would have been my final resting place.
  20.
  21. On the other hand, I had a front row seat to the insanity that was Arturia's complete ineptitude at politics and putting the good of the nation ahead of the ideals of being a knight. I mean, sure, ideals are important to have. But ideals are there to be striven for, not for you to sacrifice everything on the pyre in service of those ideals. It's really no surprise that Mordred ran her through, to be honest.
  22.
  23. Of course... I didn't expect to be grabbed by the planet itself after Arturia practically died and pressganged into service of the planet itself. Being a king-turned-knight is one thing, but having to serve to counteract the growing negative pressures that things on the planet are having? A rather unexpected thing. Though I learned quite a lot. For all the travelling I'd done up to this point, there were things in this world that I had been ignorant of.
  24.
  25. Such a state of being is unbecoming. That had to be rectified.
  26.
  27. (Though I will note, that was a LONG century. Not so much a problem considering my arsenal and abilities by this point, but have you ever watched the clock as it ticks down to the end of the day at class or at work? That was me. For a century. NOT fun.)
  28.
  29. And so far as Avalon and the Grail... well, Ea finally found a worthy sheath. And what king could resist adding the Grail to their treasures?
