Starting an AUS/POL/ Thread

Alright fellas, welcome to aus/pol/.

This is a general reserved for interaction regarding Australian political and current affairs, nationally focused and oriented towards casual and professional discussion alike.

Threads are expected to be published daily, between 17:00PM and 18:00PM, AEST.
Threads must ideally include;

i. An Australian-themed image as the thread starter, as well as a relevant title eg "AUS/POL/ FOOTY EDITION"

ii. A warm greeting, then a crucially relevant link before others (eg. My Health Record opting out link)

You may find previous thread links through 4chan's archival system.
Links must ideally be archived, or treated for clickbait and advertisement bombardment.
Only standard news sites are ideal, not fringe websites, although if exceptionally relevant it will be favoured.

If a thread is reaching the post limit, prepare a new thread, linking the same relevant content.
News items should be picked in relation to their significance, and to the expectations of the current standard and culture of national politics. To frame acceptability; do not post about children playing in sandboxes, when there's an article about children being shot down.

Try to pick the article framing the issue most seriously. Biased reporting is unwelcome, and so is minimal factual reporting.
Pastebins relating to content may be updated and continued at will.

Activity beyond that which is listed here, is not essential to creating an AUS/POL/ thread.
