- [00:18] <Wander> Lots of new people coming from other middle schools, a bigger building, more crowded...
- [00:18] <Tangent> Day 1 classes are just settling in, meeting the teachers, each other...a few assemblies, right?
- [00:20] <Wander> pretty much that, yeah. Well, and seeing who (if any) of your old friends have classes with you.
- [00:20] <Wander> I remember actually having, and moreover, actually needing a map to figure out where some of my classes were.
- [00:21] <Tangent> Cool, thanks. Gives me something to work with.
- [00:24] <Wander> Oh, I guess there was also the fact that I needed to be up earlier than I was used to to get there because my middle school had been right down the road from the elementary school that my mother taught at.
- [00:25] <Wander> and I think the buses were ridiculously early for high schools, not that I rode one there.
- [00:28] <Wander> In hindsight, I kinda slept through like half of my freshman year and really was never able to adapt my body schedule to fit with school hours. Most of what I remember out of that year is just overwhelming exhaustion.
