  2. Thomas,
  3. I do not regret anything that I said last night. As much as you want us to be quiet at night, you should understand life doesn't stop at 10 PM and us being obnoxiously loud is a subjective description of our sound level relative to your level of sensitivity. We're well within our rights LEGALLY to be as loud as we want to be at any time in the house, provided that it does not disturb the neighbors. We have attempted to respect your desired levels of quietness during the hours you want, even if you do not think we have, and your pounding on our door during our occasional loud outbursts is lessening our willingness to observe them. The past two times you have pounded on our door Cheryl and I were in bed and would have been asleep in a few minutes. If you had chosen to be a bit more patient we would have been asleep, and the house would have been quiet. The negativity that you brought with you to our door in those incidents affected me for days after. I would like to restate that Cheryl and I really have tried to respect your wishes, but humans are not perfect obviously, and yes we make noises at odd hours of the night. We do not mean for our outbursts to be construed as any intentional disrespect towards you, but shit happens, and I am sorry that they have bothered you.

  5. If this is not good enough for you then I am sorry but you are going to have to measures. Given that Cheryl and I are prone to the occasional outburst of noise, (this goes with my saying, “You can't control others do, but you can control how you react to them.”), there are measures that you could take to help make yourself sleep better at night:
  6.
  7. 1. Get a thicker door.
  8. 2. Get a white noise generator.
  9. 3. Put some kind of noise reducing padding on your door.
  10. 4. Get earplugs.
  11.
  12. Cheryl and I have done our best to respect your wishes. I have talked to Theresa, and she has stated that Cheryl and I do not bother her, even when we're, what you would call "loud" during the night, or at any other time. .
  13.
  14. Finally, Cheryl and I are not going anywhere, and unless you move, you're stuck with us. Cheryl and I do our best to observe your wishes, however, you on the other hand have to have more tolerance for the fact
