[F4M] [script offer] The Shape-shifting Dragon And His New Pet

In this script, you play the role of a cute young village girl. And you live in peace in the village with your family. But, this world is not a safe place. A very powerful dragon lives in a lair in the mountains. And every one hundred years or so, he demands a sacrifice from the village. Specifically, a girl who's fresh into the age of womanhood. Lest he destroy the village. And so, every hundred years or so, the village offers up a sacrifice. And this year, the sacrifice is you.

[start]

[the villagers have tied and bound you to a post on a wooden platform, and are carrying you through the mountains to the mouth of the dragons lair]

(frantic and shouting)

Please! Please! You don't have to do this! Why did you chose me!?

Where's my father?! I want to talk to my father!

What has the dragon ever done for us?! Why do we have to make these sacrifices like this?!

Just please! Let me go!

[ The village men carrying you on the platform ignore your cries, and you can see the entrance to the lair approaching]

Oh god! Please no! I don't want to do this! Where's my father!? When he finds out you've taken me without him knowing, you'll all wish you where dead!

[as you near the entrance to the lair, they stop. And you finally see your father coming up to you in the crowd]

(gasp)

Father! There you are! Tell these men to let me go! That they've made a mistake! I'm not supposed to be the sacrifice, right?!

[without saying anything, he walks up to you on the platform, and you fail to see the chain and shackle in his hands]

( whimpering and terrifying)

Oh father..I'm so glad you're here now. I'm so scared, I was so scared. Everyone knows that sacrifices never come back from his lair. B-but you're here to save me, right?

You'll talk to the village elders, and have them let me go. And choose someone else, right?

F-...father?... what are yo-...

((( SFX of a shackle closing and jingling chains)))

[ with a somber look on his face, and still without saying a word. He clamps a metal collar around your neck that's connected to a chain. And, before turning away, simply says that someday you'll thank him]

(breaking down, sobbing)

Wh-..what is this!? Chains?! You're collaring me and putting me in chains?! Like a slave!?

How could you do this to me?! I- I'm your daughter! I thought you loved me!

I-I'll thank you someday!?

Please! Father if the village elders are making you do this, you don't have to! We could just leave the village!

[ after returning to the crowd of men, they lift your platform back up, and carry you into the mouth of the cave]

((( slight echo-effect SFX, to help give off the feeling of being in a massive cave)))

Please! Please don't do this! I- I don't want to die! Please, don't leave me here!

(sobbing)

Father, my own father. How could he do this to me I-

[ the cave is dark, but you hear movement coming from somewhere behind you]

(gasp, speaks in low voice)

Wh-...What was that? Oh god...

H-..hello? Is someone there? Please, if someone's there, please let me go. I-..I'll do anything you want. Anything!

[There's no answer, and instead, that distant sound moves closer. And quickly becomes a much larger sound. You quickly realize it's the dragon. As he moves around you into view, you struggle in-vein to free yourself from the sacrificing post. He's a four legged-type dragon with onyx colored scales and blood-red glowing eyes with black slits.]

( panic, sobbing)

Oh god..you really are the dragon. Please, I don't know if you can understand me. But, please don't kill me!

[He speaks for the first time, telling you to be calm and that he won't hurt you]

(shock)

I-..you-...you can speak?
