(22:37:42)*Chervil Bitterroot twirled the blade within his hand quite freely, the fight between the two being quite ferocious. A storm had been summoned upon the battlefield by the Shinjin of the wind! When lightning struck, it struck with ferocity that Chervil could not match it through his own merit.

"Oregeno, this is what I've been working towards. It's what I spoke of with Paprika -- It's what I spoke of with Kabege." His intent remained the same, he was going to transfer the Sin into that of Kudo's form and shift his path permanently, from what it had been before.

When it came down to the scene of the two within the rain, lightning ripping the arena asunder, Chervil standing over him. The Makyan appeared emotionless, cold even -- disconnected from his usual erratic behavior.

"Terra, we'll wipe corruption from Aurholm."

The stone was withdrawn, mana flooding pouring from it. The Makyan spared no time in attempting to follow through with what started this commotion in the first place. These necessary actions -- They required the destruction of Gin's daughter, but would create a better future for all -- at least in the eyes of Chervil Bitterroot.*

(22:41:31)*Escar Stark lands on the scene, staring right at it. He was....entirely unsure of what was going on. He kept watching it, talking about getting rid of the corruption but...also getting rid of well, Kudos innocence, he was unsure of this. But he just watched for now.

He was too late to do much anyway. He then looks at Billy, then everyone else present....So this is what they meant by the Garuda not being trusted, those select few anyway.

"Damnit..." He said quietly to himself.*
(22:41:40)*Kabege stood beneath the torrential downpour, peering from Kudo and Chervil in order to adjust his attention back toward Chervil. They had discussed in detail their desires to cleanse the world, and his gaze soon travels over toward Terra shortly after.

 "What he speaks of is true. We both desire to purge this world, with our own two hands. While those in Minobu hide above their problems, there are alternatives we can take in order to prevent this planet from consuming us. If you truly care for this planet, you should at least consider his words."

 The Saiyan would soon look past his shoulder, intently at Pelleka. She was an individual who lived to fight, and ightin she would receive.

 "Stop his lackey from interfering." He commands.*
(22:41:49)*Zale Asher was still utterly confused by this scene. They planned to attack Kudo, was this by some other sect of Garuda?

He was barely able to come to terms with what just happened before this, it had to happen now. Screaming out he began to feel his power crackle, his strength growing as he raises his fist upwards, preparing to defend the man who he had failed.

"It'll be okay... Kudo. I won't let you down this time."

The battle had been intense to watch, but Kudo was the one to drop. It was time for Zale to do better, he would run forward, aiming to protect the Guardian of the city. *

(22:42:32)*Yue Liang begins to step forward too, as the rain pours down over his body.

"Stop."

"Whatever you intend to do with that stone, I cannot allow it. Kudo as he is, is necessary to save the people of Aurholm." he states firmly. "Do not ruin the one person who can purify a corpse." he adds, feeling the anger within him starting to burn.

The incident with Mysteria before, and now this... his red eyes look upon Chervil, before narrowing...*
The floating City of Minobu begins to rumble.

Once a place of peace and prosperity, the island has suffered many losses lately. And though it's an abiotic entity, even the very city can feel this loss. It tremors in pain, feelings brought forth by entities unknown. Pieces of it begin to fall and splinter, all centralized in a single point. Below, boulders not unlike meteors may soon fall, crashing into those unwilling to accept the truth.

And though it stops almost as soon as it began, two things were certain:
One, things in Minobu would certainly not be the same...
And two: An entire piece of the city has gone missing.
(22:43:25)*Oregeno strokes her chin thoughtfully. She has no intention of interfering- and indeed, she finds what is occuring to fascinating to even truly wish to. Her head is tilted to the side, as the little thing chuckles faintly.

"Is that so...? I'd like you to explain your thesis later- as for how this helps Aurholm, and purges corruption. Will he retain his capacity to purge corpses and render them non-dangerous? I wonder..." She muses quietly.*
(22:43:56)*Yal had found herself afflicted on another level. This was a disgrace to the Garuda tribe, that one who she had thought was closely tied to the Garuda was so very detached. The protection she had offered Kudo was taken advantage of. Her own naivety in a way. Plotting with individuals she doesn't know.

Maybe Yal could, or maybe she couldn't stop the implantation of the strange mana device. But that doesn't stop her from greeting Chervil with the spikey edge of her kanabo, a long, sweeping attack threatening to crash through the makyan's center and blow him away.

"Stop the corruption? Yet you hide your plans from the Will of Aurholm, and the Chieftain! You take advantage of the protection I've offered Kudo. You filthy LIAR!" she roars, infuriated by everything that was occuring infront of her.*

(22:44:13)*Escaro narrows his eyes with the youth acting against Kudo. If there's one thing he was certain about, it was that the magician standing before him was most likely the most powerful one in existence. Not even the likes of Prospero could match up to him, at all. His gaze shifts from Chervil, eyes roaming to the opposite side of the arena where Mastema and company resided.

His spear is drawn. He 's prepared to interfere and charge at those who wish to intercept Yal and Terra. Whether it was in vain, or not, it's hard to say.

Although...

Him actually taking action would depend on Yal's orders, and hers alo----Nevermind. She spoke. He's jumping in.*

(22:44:27)*Terra had prepared itself for the inevitable, Kudo's loss. It was odd to expect the defeat of such a being that was tied to Aurholm, but it had to do no matter what.  And it appears it was correct.. What was left from the fight was a storm and a defeated Kudo. Chervil had activate a power it had not known of, a massive amount of arcane power radiated from it that seemed to closely similar to that of the corruption..

But yet it was different. However, what really struck out to it was Chervil's words. It will wipe the corruption from Aurholm? That was Terra's task but it did not have the means to do so. What was Chervil planning? What was he seeking to do? What did he speak to Paprika about and how did he not know about it?

"No matter..."

It says before stepping forwards alongside Yal as its eyes focus on Chervil.

"Chervil. I do not know what you wish to do, but Kudo is a being of Aurholm with incredible ties to the planet. It is in my duty to protect him from death or whatever such fate you have planned for him." It states before looking at Zale and Yal who were by its side.

"Explain to us what you seek to accomplish. However, we must stop you from performing any actions at this moment.. For the sake of Aurholm."*

He tried to protect the city, it's people, everything... And yet... Despite his best efforts... He was now watching as it was ready to collapse around him. He dropped to his knees, as fear was felt across his form. Why didn't they stay? Why did this happen? There was nothing he could do but watch... But he truly wanted to turn his eyes away.*

He'd then turn to look at Rowan as he made his way further into the Gardan arena. "These circumstances are not much to my liking, so I am feeling especially irritiable. Step away from Kudo." *

(22:50:02)*Mastema hadn remained relatively inactive for quite some time the past few years.  But the time for that, the time for observation and assessing was over, at least for now.  Sinister crimson eyes glowed suddenly from within the helm as arcane energy flared around him.

As Yal moved to strike at Chervil, Mastema would explode into motion.  The armored giant leapt into the air as he drew his massive blade AND a large staff, crashing down right before her to intercept the blow meant for Chervil.

"I apologize for this Yal.   I happen to be invested in this now as well, so your actions would be a problem for me.  So if you wish to proceed.."

His eyes would flare again.

(22:50:23)*Kabege keeps his arms fold over his chest, glancing toward Zale with a tilt of his head. He wans't sure what the male had done, but it mattered little if he had been defeated before-hand.

 "Deal with the Saiyan, then." He states quietly, indicating toward Escaro. He was still wounded from his attack upon the Minobu City, and while it was surely an inconvenience, there was no getting past it. Despite this, he would soon step forward to intercept Terra.

 "I have respect for you Astrals, and even in my wounded state, I won't allow you to merely prevent the changes this world demands. This will not be Kudo's death, but this is a necesary outcome for us to purge this world." He states quietly, unfolding his arms as he lurches forward.

 The injured Saiyan would not hesitate, but it wasn't as if he was exuding murderous intent to begin with! At worst, he would slow Terra down and cripple him from doing too much damage, and if things appeared especially bleak, he would retreat.

 He's suffered enough as it was, but Chervil was a man he considered his ally. And while there were only a select few who were considered in Kabege's circle, they would be defended.
