"They were people of sturdy values; for whom good laws were no substitute for good habits."

This is what I've been thinking about lately. It is an alluring mindset... Does it work in a society without cohesive, perhaps homogeneous, cultural values? America has so many cultures that granting as much liberty as possible is the only way we can coexist. We MUST have liberties to function. But have our habits slid? Our values declined? Some say obviously. Some don't care. Funny huh.

Anyway. More laws, more bills, more programs --- it never ends. The government must grow with the population, but haven't most governments become disproportionate? Doesn't each successive law creep in on American freedom?  When they stack over the course of centuries, upholding the Constitution becomes a contradiction. It's inherently violated every day in multiple ways.

For example, the government (CIA) runs the FAANG companies (Facebook, Apple, Amazon, Netflix, Google), which envelopes most of what we call "social media" (assuming Twitter is of the same stock, as it falls in line just as well, and youtube is owned by Google). So the government fronts as private companies, using all the resources and intelligence available to the government (often paid with taxes), to create platforms for everyday people and virtually all of its citizens (sometimes at a substantial LOSS) --- with the somewhat understood pretense that they're spying the shit out of you to sell your information and to profile "threats" and "undesirables" --- and they turn around and block, shadowban, demonetize, or otherwise censor all manner of dissident (or undesirable) individuals. And undesirability has nothing to do with gross perversion or deviance or vulgarity, as YT/Facebook/Google(even cable) run perverse, vulgar, and deviant ads and articles all the time, but rather these people are censored because their specific deviations don't conform to PC culture (Cultural Marxism).

I've seen it countless times as it has affected virtually every channel or service I watch, listen to, or read --- whether political, academic, conspiratorial, or even simple entertainment podcasts. It is a blatant violation of the first amendment. When these "private companies" are fronts for (illicit) governmental projects directly affecting the public, then any argument of the first amendment not applying becomes hogwash.

Another example of Constitutional contradiction is our gun laws. We needed to maintain well regulated (citizen) militias for a reason. We did not. Now people don't understand why we need them, because they have never witnessed the public effectively check or counterbalance governmental abuse.

But THAT is what we needed guns for. We needed a responsible, mature gun culture. We need a responsible, mature culture in general. We were robbed of our American essence.

The Constitution and Bill of Rights were written that way because our forefathers knew the integrity of our Republic could shamble at any moment; whether by misguidance, apathy, internal corruption, civil discord, or even the malign influences of foreign oligarchs (or corporate influence in general).

Basically, I'm saying, our forefathers understood what the "illuminati" was; both the actual group, and the old-money control system with the royals, Vatican, London, and black nobility. They gave us the tools to finish what they could only start. As many were masons, our forefathers were as much part of "the illuminati" as they were fighting it.

America IS the melting pot of the world. But I believe that if you want to live here you should have SOME sense of pride and honor about it. That there IS an underlying essence to what it means to be American. In principle we're the only free people capable of opposing the... Beast... Of the Old World.

Instead we become its whore. It is pitiful.

By that, I mean, we're up to our necks in degeneracy and subjugation. Moral relativism has left many of us jaded and dejected. This American essence of freedom, or liberty, is a double-edged sword that gives us every right to live how we please.

But that's where honor comes in. Dignity. Common sense even? Wisdom? I'm not sure. But the things we expose children to are pretty messed up. A lot of people are on drugs or crying themselves to sleep over how hopeless life seems.

I don't know what the cure is. My reaction to the world of recent has been to look to the past. See what used to work and why it fell apart. Sometimes... perfectly great systems, perfectly great people, are cut down unfairly. Not everything from the past died because it didn't work. Sometimes there's nothing you can do against nature.

Also, it's important to have the freedom to make mistakes and try again. That's why I would prefer our people work through their degeneracy, than slap laws on us like Band-Aids instead of letting people mature properly. Our laws encroach on our freedoms in so many ways that we are conditioned to not even notice them. In this sense I strongly relate to libertarians. And my disgust with degeneracy has made conservativism and traditionalism more appealing. But as a whole, I sit center, moderate, because I love our freedoms and believe that in principle we are allowed to make personal mistakes.

People are often excited and anxious about the future, but I hope they learn to appreciate their roots. It's important to know where we come from, so we can decide where we're going. We can do better than our ancestors, but we can also strive to honor and satisfying them. We must learn about the sacrifices they made so we could live. My family is small now, so every bit they tell me about our past is that much more important.

That said, I in no way seek to make America Puritan or religiously fundamentalist or padded for child-proofing. People have to want to tone things down on their own. That's what liberty is. That's how lessons are truly learned and appreciated.

Plus, a lot of "degenerate" things are totally fine, totally uplifting or satisfying, when done in moderation.

If balance is a lock, then moderation is the key.

It's important to relax and drift sometimes. There's a time for everything, really. But our country is very much at stake, and what happens next could be a total shit-show or it could be peace on Earth. I hope everyone really digs deep.

It's good to lighten up, too. After all, it's not coming today, or even next week. Nations are giant, lumbering beasts. They expand and contract slower than paint dries. Balance means little changes, small adjustments, at a time, no?

Balance is slow like that. If things weren't balanced, life would change over night and it would be impossible to get a grip on.

Hmm. That's it for now. Go look up your family tree. Talk to your relatives. Ask your older family members about their lives. Find out who you come from; WHERE you come from. I'm kinda sketched out on 23andMe because it sounds like more CIA shenanigans (look into it lol), but that may be a good start.
