<Eopia> As the Simulation turns on once more, a large group of Zeon Mobile Suits appears in it, before quickly taking formation while waiting for their opponent to show.

* Anita_Griffith calmly surverys the group, running through the system checks for her own simulated machine.  "...let's begin, then."
<Anti-Goth> "Now we can see how this new weaponry works..."
<Anita_Griffith> *"Now we can see how this new weaponry works..."
* Anita_Griffith moves the simulated SIGURD forward, firing at one of the Gelgoogs, the gatling cannon snapping forward
<Eopia> The Gelgoog quickly darts out of the way, the pilot taking advantage of the enhanced verniers installed on his suit to dodge the bullets cleanly.
* Sandwitches has quit (Quit: Leaving)
* Anita_Griffith mutters in irritation.  "It's a good challenge, at least..."
<Eopia> Then the Gelgoog levels its EM-Railgun, fittingly named Reprisal, and fires back at the SIGURD.
<Anita_Griffith> The heavier mech boosts out of the wave of the attack, its pilot frowning.

<Eopia> The Gelgoog to its left moves forward and further to the left a bit, before leveling its RAIKOU hammer and attacking the SIGURD itself.
<Eopia> <Gelgoog Pilot #1> Remember men, our goal in this exercise is to disable, but not to destroy the SIGURD.
<Eopia> The third Gelgoog moves in closer to the SIGURD's opposite side, then fires its own EM-Railgun.
<Anita_Griffith> The blow strikes true...but the mech is unharmed by the hammer.  "Hmph..."
<Eopia> Next, the Goufs move in one by one and open fire with their own Railguns!
<Eopia> Next the Zaku 2's move in, while their pilots are the worst of the lot, the damage already done to the SIGURD may just let them be helpful as more then meat shields.
<Anita_Griffith> SIGURD flies out of the way of the other Gelgoog and the first Gouf's attack, but the rail blasts bombard the bulky machine, its mobility systems beginning to shut down under the strain.  "Urgh--!"
<Anita_Griffith> "I don't--*think* so--"
* Anita_Griffith activates the emergency back-up, pushing the joysticks forward as she tries to force her machine to move.
<Eopia> The Zaku II lines up its railgun and fires at the SIGURD, although seemingly through pure luck, the shot barely manages to tag the SIGURD although it does seem to have hit something vital.
* Anita_Griffith kicks angrily as the red lights flare in the simulation pod, her face surly.
<Eopia> <Gelgoog Pilot #1> This is our chance team, this may just be a simulation, but initiate capture protocols.
<Anita_Griffith> "I can't believe this..."
* Anita_Griffith sighs and reaches for a glass-covered button on the underside of the controls...before remembering the simulation wouldn't have the self-destruct system.  "...wonderful."
<Eopia> The four remaining Zaku II's each move to a position next to the SIGURD and attempt to grab it!
* Anita_Griffith manages to locate the self-destruct, but finds the activation code doesn't seem to be going through... "..."
<Eopia> That Zaku II's begin to carry the SIGURD away from the simulated battlefield, towards their simulated home base.
<Anita_Griffith> ...and so she simulates jury-rigging the panel, forcing the activation code through the damaged system.
<Anita_Griffith> The image of SIGURD rapidly overheats, exploding in the midst of the Zakus.
<Eopia> The four Zaku II's are immediately destroyed by the explosion, leaving the team with the Three Gelgoogs, the Four Goufs, and the Zaku that had disabled the SIGURD left.
<Eopia> <Gelgoog #2> ..We're amending the plan, after we disabled the enemy machine shoot the cockpit to kill the pilot and prevent that.
<Eopia> The remaining team then logs out of the simulator.
* Anita_Griffith sits for a while in the darkened sim-pod, staring gloomily at the blank screens before exiting it, now in a thoroughly foul mood.

<Eopia> The much smaller team of Zeon Mobile Suits logs back in, only half the size of the last squad
<Eopia> It's composed of the Three Gelgoogs and three of the Goufs from before, they spread out into a Line formation and await their opponent.
* Anita_Griffith logs into the sim again...but SIGURD is not there.  Instead, a hulking machine with the profile of a metallic armored T-Rex rezzes into being, weaponry crammed into every spare slot.
<Eopia> <Gelgoog #1> Alright team, you know what to do this time. Our opponent may be different, but we can't let that stop us. Begin the attack.
<Eopia> The Gelgoog then darts forward immediately, bring its hammer to up to strike the T-Riden-T
* Sciencegar has quit (Quit: Leaving)
<Anita_Griffith> The massiver TRIDENT steps lazily out of the way.
<Eopia> Seeing the bolt of electricity miss the T-Riden, the third Gelgoog darts forward and circles to the right of the T-Riden, bringing up its railgun as it opens fire.
<Eopia> The second Gelgoog moves in, circling around to the left this time as it also opens up with its Railgun.
<Anita_Griffith> Hampered by its size, the mechanical beast is struck, but the chassis itself is unaffected.  Insides the sim-pod, the pilot monitors the energy reserves.  "Tch..."
<Eopia> The first Gouf moves in to the left of the first Gelgoog, stopping somewhat behind it, then opens fire with its own Railgun.
<Eopia> The second Gouf copies the first, but stops to the right of the first Gelgoog.
<Anita_Griffith> And again, the T-RIDEN-T side-steps the blast, almost languid in its movements.
<Anita_Griffith> "Now...let's see if this is as good as it professes to be..."
<Eopia> The last Gouf moves as fast as it can, but can't get into range.
<Anita_Griffith> The mech fires off a missile at one of the Gelgoogs, and takes several plodding steps backwards.
<Eopia> The rest of the unit moves to stay in the same position, in relation to the T-Riden-T, as the missile fails to hit the lead Gelgoog.
<Eopia> The Gelgoog's railgun shot hits the T-Riden-T head on, doing damage to the armor plates it hits while electricity sparks all over the Chassis, hopefully causing damage to its generator.
* Anita_Griffith lurches forward as the shot pierces some important conduit.  "Again--?"
<Eopia> The last Gelgoog's shot hits the T-Riden-T head on.. But fails to do any damage to the armor.
<Eopia> The same thing happens with the Gouf pilot's shot.
<Anita_Griffith> The rail rifle jutting out of the T-RIDEN-T's top fires off a shot, and the machine plods backwards again, Anita forcing the mobility systems back to life.
<Eopia> The lead Gelgoog dashes forward at full speed, as it brings up its hammer so attempt to strike the T-Riden again, as its partner to the left dodges the railgun shot cleanly.
* Anita_Griffith pulls the dinosaur-like mech out of the way of the hammer.
<Eopia> The Last Gelgoog's shot hits the T-Riden head on, crumpling a few armor plates but failing to do anymore physical damage, the arcs of electiricty playing over the chassis may tell a different story for its generator however...
* Anita_Griffith just sullenly looks at the various system readouts.  "A Super Robot that isn't up to snuff...I'm shocked," she comments to herself sarcastically.
<Eopia> The two Goufs seem to move in a synchronized pattern, the first one shooting the T-Riden and buckling some armor plates, while the second's shot hits the exact same position immediately after, smashing through the weakened armor to critically damage key systems inside of the chassis.
* Anita_Griffith scoffs at this.  "As expected..."
<Eopia> The last Gouf finally manages to catch up to the T-Riden now that it can't move, and immediately attempts to put a shot through the simulated cockpit with its own Railgun.
<Eopia> The shot hits square on, easily penetrating the cockpits armor and destroying the simulated pilot, leaving the T-Riden-T as a heavily damaged, but still intact Super Robot. The Zeon team then moves on to finish the capture protocol, despite it being only a simulation.
<Anita_Griffith> The cockpit goes dark around Anita, and she grimaces, face lit up by the red [MISSION FAILED] appearing on the screens.
<Stealthyboy> A muffled voice can be heard penetrating through the sim walls "...quadruple marathons...!"
