- DERVLA, THE POET'S DAUGHTER
- Phantasmal Mystic, thirsting for stories.
- Neutral, mostly.
- Her background's going to be based on THE SAGE'S TEMPLATE, though less "academic" and more "story collector."
- She shoots people with a hand crossbow, theoretically, but she rarely brings it out. She's a dedicated caster!

- "... won't you tell me more?
- I'm so curious...
- ... you really must tell me what happened."
- Dervla possesses a foxlike face, and all colour seems to have fled her face and her eyes and her hair. Her voice is beautiful, but its volume is naturally low. Very neutral, very muted -- and so easily forgettable.
- She is dim, even for a phantasm, born simply from the potential of a poet's sweet voice. Perhaps it's natural, then, that she should seek out the stories of others, to listen to their histories and their trials. She never speaks of herself, always content to listen.
- And while this might be explained with her bardic heritage, the truth is a little more complex. Stories, after all, are the ultimate in narrative potential -- and Dervla believes that if she claws enough personal information and interesting tales from those around her, she just might be able to fill the hole in her heart. This, too, is the reason she does not speak of herself -- she fears losing what little light she has if she gives too much of herself to the world.
- And so she asks, and she listens, and she hopes. The real tragedy, perhaps, is how this traps Dervla inside herself: she cannot ask for help, cannot reach out, cannot give herself the chance to be wrong about her convictions. While she believes what she does about stories, she is doomed to remain as she seems: enigmatic, fascinated by those around her, a minor character in someone else's story.
