  19. The Labyrinth is supposed to be nigh-inescapable. Virtually impossible to leave without either taking some sort of drastic action, or being practically shown the exit. It was, as such, not a terribly great surprise that my travel into this universe would find me shunted into the Labyrinth due to certain... shenanigans. To say nothing of the fabric of the local universe itself being used as a weapon, brushing against the worldwound as I arrived and being slashed myself. A wound that I seem to not be able to heal properly, which is... rather irritating.
  20.
  21. Well. Without the keys to the Labyrinth, nor for someone to be outright cheating to let me out, there were other ways to locate the exit. For example, I can run essentially forever without so much as a need to catch my breath. I can run at speeds that outpace lightning. I can split myself into what is essentially an unlimited number of clones. And that's to say nothing of precognition.
  22.
  23. Naturally the Labyrinth absolutely cheats to keep people from escaping if they don't have plot armor, but I was more than willing to cheat back. And when it got a little frustrating, well... demolition of the interior via exceptionally heavy weapons tended to reduce its capability to cheat. In short: I clone-spammed until I exhausted every possible way out, and then literally blew my way out, while taking down every structure inside of it and dealing massive damage to some starved minotaur-looking demon that I quite simply didn't bother to properly put down. Among others.
  24.
  25. That, of course, only left me a path back into Golarion where things were in an unenviable state. But it was still far from hopeless - hell, even the gods here were notably less dickish than the previous several worlds I'd visited. Which was itself a welcome change. Fortunately I have over time developed numerous skills that let me locate individuals of interest, which aided me in locating and joining a certain individual who also suffered a wound similar to mine. Quite frankly an obscene amount of precognition abuse was required to help guide them down the optimal path.

  27. I could bore you with the details, but I'm rather certain you would prefer that I not do so and the story is likely known anyway, considering how hard the world worked to keep everything on rails. To make a long story short, the hero of this piece had several options, but the one with the best possible outcome? The hero sealed the Worldwound, they and their companions ascended to godhood, and ... well, my masquerade as a mortal was discovered, considering that on ascending, they found me beside them except in draconic form.
  28.
  29. It made for a brief awkward conversation, before I explained that if I'd simply fixed everything myself rather than accompanying them on their journey, they would have been diminished instead of being able to grow into their potential. After all, I'd seen a great many gods in my time, and... honestly? This group was a lot better than most of them. But I had no intention of helping out as a god here, as I had my own domain and people to worry about in that regard. Arguably. So they were on their own, but on the plus side I was able to at least give them advice for some years before my travels took me elsewhere.
  30.
  31. ...also, I maaay have rebalanced certain things in the local magic system and other related bits...
