The Siblings

You tell Wyrden Auspice Esei Shee-Slaugh of the Ascending Dusk, "Hello Esei, I was wondering if I could come over for a chat? I... do not know how to ask this in normal terms, but my siblings grow annoying and it would be refreshing to talk to someone else."

Esei tells you, "Naturally."

You shed wyrdenwood form and flow as a spirit through the verdant leaves, embracing the physical once more and arrive at a stone bridge.
A dark nighthag says, "For the Glomdoring, Cheliyi."
A dark nighthag turns her gaze to watch you leave.

Esei tilts their head and listens intently to you.
You greet Esei with a respectful nod, leaves swishing.

With a gentle creak, you say, "How have you been?"
The sound of wings flapping heralds a screeching murder of crows flying overhead.

You have emoted: Cheliyi snorts, before gesturing at her trunk. "I think that particular title would be reserved for the lovely hive of wasps growing in my chest at the moment. I'm glad to hear that I currently do not rank among them."

Esei smirks.

With a gentle creak, you say, "Truly? I'm not sure. Although, I suppose I could ask you some questions, if you are willing to answer."

Esei tilts their head and listens intently to you.

You have emoted: Cheliyi hums in agreement. "No doubt. Unfortunately my titles are few, but, that does not matter at the moment, I think. One step at a time." Laughing softly at some unheard joke, she glances once more at a mature rowan tree before smirking at Esei. "It is hard enough speaking to commune members, so I doubt I would handle an audience with the Hallowed well."

The ghost of a smile passes fleetingly across Esei's lips.

You have emoted: Cheliyi blinks, before bursting into laughter. "Unkind? N-no," she stutters in-between breaths, "Brother Rowan is simply... being himself. They are always a little snarky at this time of day."

You have emoted: Cheliyi's smile creaks at the edges, as she glances askance. "It is... of little importance. And, as muchas I'd like, it seems I do not often have respite from them. They are everywhere, after all," she quips, but the smile doesn't quite reach her eyes.

You have emoted: Cheliyi blinks slowly, before the smile returns in full force. "Well, my siblings here are usually quite sarcastic, if not out right silly. Brother Rowan seems to have an odd penchant for quips and cynicism, as it were. He's always grumpy," she ends with a whisper, winking at Esei as if it were some sort of shared secret.

With a gentle creak, you say, "Sister Ravenwood is always a little vain, but I think she's quite right in her self love. She has quite the lovely shade of bark, and when she has been transformed into a totem, she is always breathtaking. Quite the lovely conversationalist, if you want to speak of beauty and such."
Esei hums thoughtfully.

You have emoted: Cheliyi glances in the general direction of the Master Ravenwood, smiling fondly. "And, well. Master Ravenwood is always sleeping, so I never learn much from him. He seems quite lovely, however, and cares deeply for his offspring." She blushes a soft green, suddenly remembering her frequent mislabeling of the nexus. "And, well. I do call him Father sometimes, although that is more of a slip of the tongue than anything."

A wry smile spreads across Esei's face.

Making a face, you say, "And then there is the Serenwilde. While I do share similarities in form to Sister Willow there... Well, to say that I do not enjoy her company would be both rude and not entirely true. She is pleasant, but... always sad. Heartbroken, even. I never bothered to ask."

Esei sways back and forth.
A look of understanding crossing their features, Esei nods their head slowly.

You have emoted: Cheliyi blinks, before looking confused, and then vaguely frustrated. "I... I should have known that. I hope they are not annoyed at me for neglecting their presence. I suppose I will have to apologize to them later."

You sigh quietly, branches creaking with the weight of drooping leaves.

Esei is enveloped in translucent fire for a moment and is gone, their soul safe until they returns to Lusternia.
