- Originally, "ENzan BUjutsu KENkyuubu", or "Operation (in an arithmetical, mathematical sense) Martial Arts Research Club".
- Shortened to "Enbuken", where "enbu" can be used to refer to martial arts demostrations.
- "Operation Martial Arts" are of the gamepad/joystick variant. (or to be precise, fighting games)
- Localised to "Analytical Performance Martial Arts Research Club" because English isn't Japanese.
