They stopped running, and the Path members behind them yelled in alarm. They ignited their lightsabers and turned to face their pursuers. There was a sudden spray of blasterfire that Aida and Creighton deflected easily. They took a step forward as they tried to push the fight backward. Creighton's eyes were shining and sharp, and whatever fog had been in his brain seemed to be melting away. He used the Force to yank away two blasters as one Path member fell from a shot to the leg.
