- โ soyeon was born a middle child to a big family. in 2nd grade, she moved to los angeles, california because of her familyโs business reasons. there she studied english and korean. she got interest in becoming an idol when she was 11. she enrolled in a kpop academy. at the age of 13, her family moved back to seoul, south korea. in hs she joined her dance team and choir. she wanted to audition for yg, but didnt have enough confidence so she started dance busting and singing live on streets. that is where she got casted by yg and yuehua but chose !
